Rise of the Ultimate Archmage
2. Supreme Elemental Mage

2. Supreme Elemental Mage

"Supreme... Elemental Archmage?"

"This is my golden finger?"

For the first time in a while, Ethan Gale felt a flicker of excitement. This class was unbelievably powerful!

The Supreme Elemental Destruction skill alone was enough to make him shiver.

A 1000% Spirit attribute damage output!

Typical classes only got 100% damage boost from Spirit for their initial skills. But with this Elemental Destruction, Ethan could continuously cast it with no cooldown or cost!

With this kind of power, he could become a relentless force, firing energy beams with no limits.

And then there were his basic attributes!

Ordinary humans had an average of 5 points in each attribute, with 10 points being the upper limit.

Yet, thanks to the Supreme Power boost, Ethan's starting attributes shot up to 100 points each, ten times the human limit.

Then there was Divine Light, which converted all his attacks to Divine Damage, a tier that surpassed physical, magical, and even True Damage. It ignored defenses, immunity, evasion, and invincibility effects entirely!

In other words, if Ethan's damage output was 100 points, his target would inevitably take that full amount, regardless of any defenses.

And then there was the third talent, Supreme Duty. Understandably, with all these advantages, there had to be a cost: his leveling required ten times the usual experience.

"Ten times the experience? Hardly a drawback," Ethan mused with a grin.

Just then, Lou Randall stepped forward, having been quiet for a while.

"Ethan! I didn't expect you to awaken a Legendary-tier War Class, but I won't back down. How about we settle this in the beginner's dungeon?"

Lou's tone was serious, his eyes fixed on Ethan with a challenging gleam.

"Lou Randall!" Sunny Meadows couldn't hold back, stepping forward. "You know Warriors have an early advantage. Aren't you being shameless?"

Lou scoffed, a dismissive expression on his face. "It's just a Heroic-tier class."

He eyed Sunny with newfound contempt. Now that he'd ascended to an Epic-tier class, he had little respect left for someone of Heroic rank.

"Ethan, let's just go," Sunny said, giving Lou a cold look and tugging Ethan away.

Soon, a few of Sunny's family guards approached Lou.

"Master Randall, our young lady has business to attend to. Please take your leave," they said, their voices icy.

"Fine! Ethan, big shot now, huh?" Lou sneered. "Keep hiding behind a girl. Tomorrow, in the beginner's dungeon, I'll crush you."

Lou had been waiting for this chance. He'd spent years in Ethan's shadow, but now, with his Epic-tier class, he saw his opportunity to dominate.

Suppressing his rage, he laughed coldly, envisioning his victory in the dungeon.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Later, Sunny dismissed her guards and, after a brief chat with her father, happily accompanied Ethan back home. Her father, Daniel, was even pleased by the turn of events. After all, Ethan was a Legendary-tier Mage, a class with high survivability and potential. Daniel almost wanted them to marry on the spot!

Back at Ethan's place, Sunny sat on the sofa, trying to reassure him. "Don't worry about Lou. Mages excel in the later stages. He might have the edge now, but after level 30, he won't be able to keep up."

Ethan smiled, unbothered. Lou's challenge didn't faze him; he had the maturity of two lifetimes and a Supreme-tier class. Even if he'd only been Legendary-tier, he wouldn't have considered an Epic-tier class a threat.

"Ethan," a voice interrupted. A tall woman in a purple silk nightgown entered the room. Sunny blushed, taking in the striking figure.

"This is my sister, Jade," Ethan introduced.

Sunny stood, a bit nervous. "Nice to meet you, Jade. I just wanted to check on Ethan after our awakening."

She took a moment to glance at Jade, admiring her beauty. Sunny found herself envious of the woman's flawless legs and elegant presence. There was one thing that puzzled her, though; they didn't look alike at all.

Jade smiled warmly. "Chat for now, but don't forget about dinner."

Ethan nodded, and Jade returned to her room. Sunny's mind wandered a bit; Jade's beauty was mesmerizing, even for her.

After Sunny left, Jade reemerged and sat beside Ethan. "Feeling down? Was your awakening rough?"

Ethan shrugged. "Not at all."

"Is it about your friend?" she asked.

"Nothing serious. Just someone looking for a challenge," he replied nonchalantly.

"Good," Jade laughed softly. "By the way, today marks your coming of age. Thought about how to celebrate?"

"Celebrate? Nah, I'm not into those things," Ethan rolled his eyes.

Jade raised an eyebrow. "This is your biggest milestone. How about a… special celebration with your big sister?"

Ethan chuckled. "You're kidding, right?"

"Not at all. I'm here to cheer you up, you know," she winked. Jade had been adopted by his parents before Ethan was born, so despite their close bond, it was all in good humor.

Ethan shook his head, chuckling. "Come on, even if we're not blood-related, that's still a bit weird."

"Oh please. You know our parents have been thinking of me as a future daughter-in-law since you were born." Jade's tone was playful.

Ethan rolled his eyes again, but deep down, he was thankful for her lightheartedness.

The next day, Ethan arrived at school, and Lou was already there, glaring at him with icy eyes. Ethan ignored him, focused on the upcoming dungeon.

Soon, dozens of buses from Tidespring High arrived, and under the guidance of their teachers, students were loaded up and taken to the dungeon entrance. The area was packed; students from five local schools were all present, making a crowd of several thousand.

Sensing Lou's hostile gaze, Sunny leaned in. "Let's just focus on ourselves. Mages are vulnerable early on, so don't worry about him."

Ethan nodded, unfazed.

On the other side, Lou's gaze remained locked on him. "This time, I'll reclaim my honor."

The students soon lined up, and Ethan was at the front. His teacher gave him a nod. "Show them what a Legendary class can do."

"I won't let you down," Ethan replied, stepping into the dungeon.

The atmosphere changed immediately as he entered.

"A graveyard dungeon for beginners? A good test for their courage," Ethan thought, smiling as he moved forward.

The eerie sound of bones clattering echoed as skeletons appeared.

[LV1: Skeleton Warrior]

Attributes: Strength 12, Spirit 7, Constitution 18, Agility 10

"Pathetically weak."

Ethan raised a hand and pointed at the skeletons.

"Elemental Destruction."

A dazzling beam shot from his finger, instantly obliterating the skeletons. The beam pierced through, disintegrating them all in a single sweep.

[You have defeated a skeleton, gaining 100 XP.]

[Dungeon completion: 0.1%.]

One blast had already moved his progress to 1.2%.

Ordinary classes would need at least one or two levels to match that.

Ignoring details, Ethan moved ahead. He knew his Supreme Archmage abilities were far beyond that of a typical Legendary-tier.

"These Supreme skills are absurdly powerful."

Within minutes, he'd annihilated waves of skeletons, leveling up as he went.

[Level Up! Current Level: 2]

"Nice."

Checking his attributes, Ethan noted a remarkable increase.

Name: Ethan Gale

Class: Supreme Elemental Archmage

Level: 2

Attributes: Strength 110, Spirit 210, Constitution 110, Agility 110

"Leveling up boosted all my attributes significantly," Ethan marveled.

Regular classes gained around 10 attribute points, but his Supreme class not only granted him 100 free points but also boosted each core attribute by 10.

With a grin, Ethan allocated all 100 points to Spirit, watching it skyrocket from 100 to 210. The journey through the dungeon had only just begun.
