"I shall discover yet unbeknown secrets, and ascend to unpreceded heights!", Cendrux thought to himself, staring down the pitch black cave.
After having tried to push away a lowhanging branch with his face, while riding his horse at breakneck speed,
he had tumbled down an unpleasently long hillside. Only to find himself freefalling, when the hillside finally and yet unfortunately came to an end.
Luckily enough, a tree top saved him from his sure demise, guiding his crash face first in the dirt of a small platform embedded into the seemingly endless cliff.
As watching the grass became a rather dull activity, he lifted his head and spotted a small tunnel. Having no other choice, as the platform was barely big enough to hold him and one tree, with the cliff being untameable and the ground not being in view, he made his way into the tunnel.
After a few minutes of stumbling forward in the dark, he ended up in a huge, dimly light cavern.
Looking up, he saw the nightsky full of stars. Looking again, the stars rather looked like white glowing stones. Looking a third time, they still did.
While the stones were probably as valuable as they were out of reach, on the other end of the cavern, a few hundred meters ahead, the dark stonewall to his right had an even darker spot, seemingly inhaling the darkness around it.
Getting closer, the dark spot transformed in a dark hole, leading deeper into the mountain.
Standing in front of the cave, Cendrux noticed a slight pressure surrounding him, feeling as if submerged under water.

He had heard of the old stories, about beings of unimaginable extent.
He did not know specifics, but within this cavern, probably the chance of his life had arrived. Hopefully it had.
Thinking about the heights he would achieve, had not strenghtened his resolve enough to actually wager the step in the cave.
Therefore he mumbled, "I shall gain the might to control my fate. I will not fail.", conquering, or maybe ignoring his fear, he finally stepped forward. Or rather he tried to, only to feel his foot not properly lifting from the ground, as one would expect. Falling in the cave was not how he had imagined the start of his adventure,
but luckily no one had witnessed his embarassment, tarnishing the stories about the heights he would achieve.

When he came to, his head was spinning. After collecting himself for a brief moment, he slowly opened his eyes, seeing a starry sky.
Before he could savor the view, he barely heard someone mumbling. "I ... might ... fail". Looking in the direction of the noise, he saw a dark silhouette.
But not for long, as the person fell forward in a rather clumsy way, waving his arms and disappearing in a cave.
The scream gently fading, being interrupted only by what sounded like someone having his face not very gently planted in debris over and over again.
Mankor stared dazedly at the spot the person had been, not quite sure what to make of this situation. He found himself in the middle of a spherical formed cavern, lit by white stones.
