=== Chapter 02: Waking up ===

WULF POV:

‘I’m back?’

I slowly regained my consciousness after a long sleep, I tried to open my eyes, but my body seemed to refuse to listen to my command, I didn’t know how long I had been asleep, but it affects my body greatly.

This all began after I received that strange “system” thing as it calls itself.

[Checking for host Compatibility with the system]

As I was deep in my thought, I heard the same mechanical voice of the system that I heard before I passed out.

[Detected two Foreign Soul remnant are residing on the host body!]

[Commencing integration sequence]

After some time, I can finally manage to open my eyes to an unfamiliar stone ceiling

Then I could feel the coldness slowly seeping into my skin.

‘Look like my body slowly beginning to regain its control and sense’

My body felt as stiff as a rock and the joint felt rusted from not moving for a long time.

‘How long have I been out?’

As I turned my head to look around, a skull splitting headache struck my head like it been hit by a truck.

When I heard the system voice again the headache stopped with some remnant of the headache still swelling a little on my head.

After calming myself I regain my memories as Wulf Vou Eisenerz, along with it I also retain the memories of Sword Grandmaster Raven, and War Veteran Wiliam.

Just as I was trying to sit and look through the foreign memories, I was interrupted when I heard the door opening.

Looking at the direction of the sound a little girl or loli from earth term was standing there while holding the door, her expression was that of shock when she sees me.

‘Do I know her? Why does She look so… familiar?’

As I thought about what to do, I saw the little loli began to tear and eventually cry profusely.

She rushes in my direction and lunges at me crying at my chest making me fall back to my sleeping position, she holds tightly at my pajama as the water work start to wet my pajama.

“Hey there little girl, why are you crying? There, there”

I didn’t know how to react to this as I tried to calm her down as best as I could, eventually she began to calm down and look up to my face.

After I took a good look at the girl’s face, I finally found out her identity.

This girl’s name is Blanche Vou Eisenerz. She is my little sister and the youngest daughter of the Eisenerz family, the last time I saw her was when she was about 5 something years old.

‘She looks much older than the last time I saw her, really how long have I been laying here?!’

As I thought this the little girl looked at me with her teary eyes look at me with concern.

“Big brother, are you alright? is your illness healed?”

she asked timidly, her voice was barely heard.

I was about to answer, before a thought came across my mind, I looked at her with a confused look.

“Can you tell me your name little girl? My name is Wulf”

As I said this, she looked at me blackly, after a couple second tears began to fall again.

A couple minutes after my little mischief I tried to calm my sister down and told her it was a joke; it seems I’ve gone too far with the joke, and she did not appreciate the “joke” I played on her very much.

As she began to pout, I saw some maids come over with the same shock on their face before they began to leave and call for the rest of my family.

Looks like the commotion caused by my sister gained the attention of the whole household.

And about a minutes later two beautiful women stand before my room doors they both look at the situation in both shock and happiness.

This is of course my mother Maeve Vou Eisenerz and eldest sister Blair Vou Eisenerz

‘Come on guys, is me waking really that shocking?’

Looking at the two women closely people would see an eerily similarity about their face with the younger one of the cans pass on as the older one younger self.

‘Seriously, both of you can pass as sisters if they meet you guys for the first time’

As I muse about this in my head, I fail to realize that both my mother and sister were ready to pounce at me, unfortunately I was too late.

“MY SON!!”

“WULF!”

3rd PERSON POV:

After suffocating for a couple of minutes under his mother and eldest sister bosom, Wulf start to gave up on resisting.

‘I don’t think this is a bad way to go’

Maeve, noticing that her dear son was suffocating, quickly let go of him to let him breathe.

“Oh my, Wulf! I’m sorry dear, I’m just too excited that you finally awaken!”

Maeve Vou Eisenerz, Wulf mother is the current head of the Eisenerz margrave household, after the death of her husband his brother count Deiter Vou Aryris, forcefully took over their fief by using some shady politic.

He also uses that opportunity to exile her and her children to another less important territory that belongs to the Eisenerz.

Fortunately for her many of the loyal servants of the Eisenerz family decided to follow her along with their family and move to this new territory with her.

Now she, helped by her eldest daughter and loyal servant, tries their best to survive in this baren land.

As she was starting to lose hope the news of her eldest son finally awakening from his coma ignite the dying spirit within her heart, with her son awakening from his sickness it strengthens her resolve to protect the family ensuring their survival.

‘I will protect my babies!’

As Maeve was busy with her own thought Blair and little blanche still held their brother tightly fearing that if they let go their brother will go to a long sleep again.

“Come on guys, I just go well after a long time, are you guys want to send me back to sleep?”

Wulf said jokingly, the two just pouted as they reluctantly let go of him.

“Big brother, you won’t go back to asleep again, would you?”

Blanche asks innocently, she hated it when she saw her brother in that condition and now that he was awake, she was very happy, but the concern didn’t fade away, what if he wouldn’t ever wake up anymore?

Looking at her scrunching her brows and concerning over his health bring a smile to Wulf handsome face.

“Don’t worry little Blanche! Your big bro now all heal up, nothing can bring down your awesome big brother now”

Wulf looked lovingly at blanche while he pats her little head and scuffling her hair making it a total mess.

“Mou! Big brother you are messing my hair!”

As the two started to bicker with one another, a pair of eyes was looking at both closely, she bee there with them the whole time but they just ignoring her and didn’t involve her in the fun?!

“Stop ignoring me!”

Blair can’t take me anymore and throws herself in the middle of the two begging for attention from her younger siblings.

“Oh, sister you’re here too?”

“Sis since when are you here?”

“How Mean!!”

Seeing her sibling bluntly bullying her like this makes her eyes teary, she quickly seeks comfort from her mother sizable bosom.

“Mom! My younger siblings don’t love me anymore, they’re bullying me~”

Maeve looking at her eldest daughter being messed with by her younger siblings can’t help but shake her head and giggle at her children’s antics.

“Now, now let’s give your brother some space, he just woke up after 5 years let’s give him some space, and Wulf, if you felt better come join us for dinner okay sweety? For now, just rest up and get better soon okay”

Maeve said as she drags both Blair and Blanche with her, she wants to give her son some time of his own now that he is awake, she hopes that Wulf would get used to his condition soon and join them after he is ready.

‘Thanks mom’

Looking at the leaving figure of his mother while she dragged his unwilling sisters brought a smile to Wulf lips.

Without any more distraction Wulf focused back to his previous intention.

“Open System!”
