As I was dozing off, staring outside the carriage's window, the coachman entered a more bumpy road.
Atchoo!
"Fucking hell... Is someone talking about me?" I said out loud.
"Probably, you are quite a troublemaker, young master." Said, emotionlessly, the white-haired woman sitting in front of him as she observed something outside the window.
"Lilith...? W-when did you get in here?" As I was stunned by her presence, I couldn't help but stutter out of shock.
"... when we departed, of course. The Lord gave me the mission of protecting you during your stay in the capital." The woman with abyss-like eyes answered promptly with a straight face.
"... I see. Why didn't you wake me up then?" I asked as I calmed myself.
"You were sleeping so soundly; how could I bear to wake you up?" Lilith tilted her head and spoke with a slightly sarcastic tone.
'Fucking ' In the middle of my internal monologue, the carriage came to a halt as sounds of screaming and shouting were heard from the outside.
"...?" My eyes nearly popped out as I looked outside.
*... Finally.* The woman murmured as a hint of a smile flickered across her usually emotionless face.
"Stay inside the carriage." As I saw the smile on her face, I could barely stop myself from shuddering.
'... Fuck, I really don't want to die in my twenties...' I thought as she left the carriage.
...
As the moon floated above their heads, casting a silver hue on the trees of the forest, a group of fifty men were on the lookout for carriages on a bumpy road.
Yawn
"Are you all really sure this is the right road?" Asked the ugly, short man with his back against a tree.
"Are you going to keep asking the same damn question every damn minute? That's what I heard, Joshua." Said the older man, who was starting to lose his patience.
"Jeez, no need to get mad. I'm just saying, you know, we've been here for 5 hours..."
Sitting on the grass near them, was a scarred man with an odd-looking pen in his hand and a bottle of purple liquid at his side.
"Patience, kid. Patience is the most important thing in life." He kept engraving seemingly simple magic circles on his robe as he stared at a book with flowers sprouting out of its cover.
"Yeah, yeah..." He sighed as he stared at the setting sun.
"Let's just stay here until dawn..." Said the older man as he started to lose hope in the information he received.
"Yeah, let's wait a bit more. Give me your cape, I'll at least enchant it with a few stealth spells too."
"Fuck off. Last time you engraved my cape, it smelled like roses for a week. I'mma go take a nap, wake me up when anything happens..." He laid on the grass while holding his cape and closed his eyes.
Sigh
"Joshua, mate... If you're not gonna be tall or good-looking, you ought to at least smell good." Teased the scarred man.
Zzzzzz
"..." Sigh "Even sleeping, this cunt can fucking annoy people..." Grumbled the older man as the snoring of his comrade started to get into his nerves.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz
"... True."
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Sigh
"Finally, done w-"
"Get ready, there's someone coming." Before the scarred man started bragging about his robe, the older man cut him off.
"Alright." Said the ugly young man as he started to give orders to the other bandits.
"We'll have a great time tonight, fellas. Get fucking ready!"
After the carriage entered the bumpy old road, the bandit group began their attack. Unaware of the fate that was to befall them.
'Everything seems to be going fine... I better go already.' Thought a pale man with snake-like green eyes as he stared at the bandit attack on an apparently poorly protected carriage. His cold eyes didn't even twitch as he saw the poor knights getting slaughtered.
...
"Look at that beauty!" Said a tall man with a sickening smile on his face as a white-haired woman with glowing golden eyes stepped out of the carriage.
*... T-that's a fucking werewolf...* The scarred man at his side mumbled as he took a step back in shock.
*... Nemo audiet, videat, nec olfaciat, in occulto regnabunt tenebrae...* He didn't hesitate to run away.
'Fuck, I can't die here.' The man quickly backed away while casting as many stealth spells as he could.
*... Tenebrae me abscondent. Umbra mei pars est. Umbra a me...* He chanted under his breath as quickly as he could.
"Finally, I was thinking I had come here for naught." The woman's golden eyes shone brilliantly as a sickening smile bloomed across her face.
"Ha! Look, brother, this bit-"
As the bandits saw one of their strongest companion's limbs fall to the ground in a bloody mess of flesh and bone, shock befell even the strongest of them, as the sheer pressure of the murky golden aura of the werewolf had already caused some of them to faint.
'I-I just have to keep myself hidden...' Thought the scarred man, who quickly hid himself on top of a tree.
As the white creature started to massacre the bandit group, a repulsing red mist rose from their bodies, taking away people's ability to see, only leaving them to hear their own screams.
*I wasn't paid for this... I wasn't paid for this...* He mumbled as he watched the golden-eyed creature rampage.
As the bandit's cries reverberated through the forest, the scarred man with widened eyes bit his lips as he regretted accepting this mission.
"Please, please. I am sorr-" A short man that was on his knees begging for his life quickly got mutilated by her golden claws, blood splashing everywhere.
'Survive... Survive... I just have to survive' Thought the scared man, as if he were chanting a mantra. Blood and flesh occasionally flickered on his clothes.
Soon enough, there was only silence. The remaining knights that weren't killed in battle couldn't speak for an unconscious fear of what their last words would be. They all just watched in silence as the lupine creature slowly turned back into that of a beautiful woman, her white hair covered in blood and her glowing golden eyes as dark as the 'Abyss'.
