Today I got a message, it said, that I was chosen as part of a new secret governmental project, they didn’t even state the name of the project, but one thing is for sure, it’s part of the weapons development sector in charge of fighting against the gods.

They were very professional people, we had:
Dr. Charles specialist in biothermal engineering, with a PhD in atomic bio cell reaction.
Dr. Muhammed with a specialty in ancient cultures, a PhD in Egyptian arqueology.
Dr. Javier PhD in Psyquiatric, and psychologist, with ten papers published on behavior disorder.
Dr. Toriyama Biologist with specialty in reptiles, and big mammals.
And lastly, we had Priest Lombard, that made the thesis about the predictions and secret translation of the apocalypse.
That is my team, and we are in charge of the research of the scepter of Heka, and the flail of Nekhekh, I have great hope in our team, and in our work, I know we will make great achievements.
As it is the first day, we had a small celebration party, for the start of the new team, and project, we had sake, Champaign, and beer, we all got drunk, and started talking about things we saw on books, about life before gods.
Then we got drunker, and each of us, started talking about weir god theories, like the thermal reaction in Thor’s hammer, the psychological effects created by Aphrodite and the neural connections than made them possible to bewitch any animal or person.
Even Dr. Toriyama, started talking about a theory that gods came from the genetical fusion of animals and humans like Anubis, that really caught me because I’m a genetist, and we spend hours talking about it, and its implications.
After that everyone went to their respective rooms, and when I arrived to my room, well it was very standard, so I started unpacking, and place my poster of a cat on a tree that said “hang in there” in the wall next to my bed, arrange my clothes in the closet, and fell like a stone asleep, because I still felt a bit drunk.

Today at seven thousand o clock, a commander took us to see the relics, then we had breakfast, and we started writing the hypothesis of what we were going to do each of us, and the goals that we set.
First, we needed to find their composition, then to find how do they work, and lastly to replicate them.
But as we only had two relics, we decided to divided ourselves in two teams:
For the first team, named team Nekhekh, we had Dr. Charles, Dr. Javier, and Dr. Toriyama
And for the second team named team Haka, were Dr. Muhammed, the Priest Lombard and me (Dr. Robert)
We went to our work stations, and first we decided to start with its composition, everyone from their point of study. I started immediately breaking the genome from the scepter, because even if its unbelievable, the scepter was a living being, only that apparently it had no mind on its own, it worked with the mind, or will or something from its wielder, like in a symbiotic relationship, similar to sharks and lampreys.

Our experiments had started, I just made a request for the chemicals, and special machinery needed, to start dissembling the specter, and try to build a complete map of the genome.
January 5th 2151
As I’m still waiting for my special equipment, I start with observation, I saw the scepter on different weather conditions, and its reactions to different elements, but everything seemed normal

Today my equipment arrived, well, part of it, I keep notes on every reaction seen these few days, but it’s time to stop, and assemble my equipment.

The installation and calibration of the new equipment was completed time to start studying harder.

Today I had a hunch in the morning, that cells from the scepter might work with sand, and so I changed the experiment, to works on sand and genes.
January 24th 2151
I’m finally starting to see results, the genes are made of sand, it’s hard to keep up, but know I can see them, probably in some time I can start mapping the genome, of this awesome scepter.
March 6th 2151
Today I’m finally able to start the map of the genome, I just write the first pair of Y’s and their bound. It’s like nothing that I had ever seen before.
In the afternoon, we had a small reunion with the priest, and Dr. Toriyama, just a getaway, to talk about our development and about our latest discoveries.
Apparently, we took really different ways, because I’m considering the scepter as a machine made from living cells, and Dr. Toriyama considers it, as a whole entity that is sleeping-

Getting closer to the half of the game mark, 48%, 2 % more and we are half way there, it’s really hard work, but someone has to do it.

I took me more than a year but I’m almost there, 96%, I can smell the finish line, soon.

It’s being so hard this last 1%, I’m stuck at 99%.
But today something amazing happened, the guys from team Nekhekh made an amazing discovery, they think they found the way to move the gene of control, from the relics, to our bodies, Dr. Toriyama told me on our reunion from yesterday that he was experimenting on himself, I hope nothing wrong happens to him.

Finally, its done, the complete genome from the specter of Haka, it’s so beautiful, now we can see how does it works, and how are those powers activated.
