CHAPTER-1
THE FAMILIARS AGREEMENT
This is the 21st century, the age of science and technology where man is known as the most intelligent being in the earth. Human Beings have always progressed and developed the way of their living making life more comfortable and easy. The humans once had a limit to there daily needs, during the stone age humans needs were- Food, Water, shelter, clothing, and a family. Human development have also increased there intellectual curiosity. They have explored all lands and now they are aiming for space to find life. Its still a mystery if there is life other than earth. Though we have just searched like 7% below what lies under water sea surface but most scientist thinks there may be some people like mermaids and other species of life underneath. Though people trying to find about life searching for in the sky, underneath the sea , even they trying to find the lizard people who rumored to be living beneath the earth!
Little they know about the life around them? There are vast form of life lays beyond human expectation which cant be seen by a mere human. The place lies beside them, above them
and underneath them! Its the Heaven, The earth, The Hell. The heaven is a place where major god resides, the place beautiful above the sky where they watch and scout the human behaviors and place the judgment to when to punish and bless them. Hell is place dark and gloomy is place of the releam of the Devil, Tho the Immortal being that cant never be killed is being imprisoned by the heaven and earth during the battle between the gods and the evil where he was imprisoned and because of the battle wounds the satan ( devil ) that could never be healed oozes blood that is pure evil whoever may come to contact. So for putting a stop this plague gaia (the mother earth) covered the gates in her arms and then suddenly the the dust and meteors merged with her and that covered all the gates so they could stop the bleeding inside, the god send there blessing to her and she imprisoned herself for the sake of the universe. The sacrifice of the Gaia gave birth to thus what we called Mother Earth, the gods made the place to watch over the place so that he could keep eye to the evil that lays beyond.
Slowly the place become abundant with life. Gods pledged to look after the children of Gaia what we so called earth life.
Still after the prisonment of the satan , he continued to live and still gaia couldn't stop all the evil that devil spread. Thus the evil still pester in the life in form of diseases,natural calamity, it also posses over life mostly over animals and of course humans. The releam of devil gave birth to demons and fledgling of the devil himself, they tried to spread the diereses
of evil, and terror among humans.
Well not everything going on earth cant be solved from the Major gods of heaven, So there are also gods of earth that has abode of there place where humans offer their prayer. The prayers and offering powers the supernatural beings of the earth god. The god of earth's have duties such as to monitor evil inside there particular region and also the well being of the human devotees. The count of the human devotees and there prayers power to give the power to turn into major god from minor god after that he can step to heaven and than can be free the clutches human and might live forever without need of the prayers but still prayers does help to power a lot even for the gods of heaven.
PROLOGUE:
In the shady dark gloomy hall, there is just a speck of light falling from a roof that just fall over the person who has seated on old dusty throne of the old chamber. He placed his hand on the side of the seat supporting his hand where as his hand supporting his face and face is mostly covered with hair but we could see his mouth sharp teeth and looks like a man-shark with a smirk on his face. His black wings rested towards the back of the seat and its folded at the moment, he is a dark angel. Dark angel are tainted beings of the heaven that are banished to the releam of the earth. In front of the dark angel is a another shady being that is a woman in dark robes bowing to him, cant say that is a human or dark angel or a human. Just could see the the lips that are cold.
"Lord the last bloodline Princess of kageToki have marked a familiar, its a human kid that doesn't has any special ability, its just a normal high school boy." Says the dark robe lady.
"Hmm, interesting picking a common human as a familiar? she might have something under her sleeves for pick such low petty creature called human. I guess we must get our hands on that stuff before she waste it over a human scum! " replies the dark angel
"But what possible means do you think we should use to accomplish this ?"
"Well she is the last bloodline of a kageToki clan, the fearsome war gods that supported during the war of the ragnarok! All her family were wiped during the war because of the shrine were completely wiped out. She doesnt has someone after her, even she is wiped out of our way no one would even notice about her disappearance "
"But what if the Guardian gods of the disciplinary come to know about it?"
"Well i made some arrangements to meet with the gashadakuro, himself"
"huh? could the devil general of the empire of the of the 6th empire be trusted?"
"Well no worries I got a sweet deal that can't turn down."
"But is the kageToki worth that much efforts?"
" She has one of the seven gems of mother gaia or she might have, i guess"
"Well if that's what you wish than I am all yours to command!"
"But first we need to find her and the familiar"
"But what if she already used that over her familiar?"
after she asked this the angel takes a long pause and then lift his head above and stares to the hole at the roof where the only light reeks inside the chamber.
He had a sense of tension over his face and than after the long awaited pause he back to smirk and in a groaning voice from lower to higher he mumbles
"Well we might extract every ounce of the gem through his blood and shatter every bones and drain all the contents through his body and remake that gem"
Than he again stare at the roof and start laughing slowly and loudly like a freak! A freak that might have ran away from a mental asylum and running all over and climbing tall chimney standing proudly over it and shouts at top hahaha i own this fu*king world bow down to the sumpreme being thats me!
well from long distance away from this freak lives another freak, well its lot better to be honest lives our protagonist Yamada Kurosaki.
In the city of Noragami, the city that never sleeps is a hectic city and busiest of all in the county of Tehl. Although its very busy city its always cheerful all around thanks to gods dwelling here that helps the people for their fortune as-well-as their well being. Its Monday weekday morning so people running all over because of their daily office! Even School kids leaving with their jam bread hanging around their mouth and rushing towards the school to catch the bus. Everything is chaos because of everyone hurrying towards there workplace or schools as usual. But from long away from the chaos of the city is the old city bridge that helps people to cross the river Nego and in the banks are calm lush green grass and that gives the prefect place for picnic! And under the bridge is the place of dumpster where old broken cars are piled one up the another. It clearly hides the under the bridge so the beauty of the city cant get tainted.
Suddenly a Alarm goes on sounding loudly! It was place on cramped old cars in one of them was decent but old junked up car or more like just the exterior skeleton body of the car with old dust interior sofa attached tho its tore all over with cotton pouring outside. On the Dashboard of the car is the RINGing of the alarm waiting to be stoped by his master. The high school boy sleeping like a log on the front seat of that old car his head is hanging at edge barely managing to topple down, but after few minute past the alarm is still ringing as it wont give up that easy. He slowly takes his hand towards the alarm tho his half asleep. He snoozes the alarm and continues to sleep again. This Sleepy head is a Yamada Kurosaki, who going to be 17 year old high school brat. He isn't any poor drunkard tho he looks like one still he is poor and work's his ass off for little money to keep his stomach away from hunger pangs. Well his condition wasn't the same before until he was cursed by the goddess, just because he tripped the old guards statue that guards the shrine and even bad mouthed the goddess! Well how shitty luck could he get.
FLASH BACK TO 2 WEEKS AGO:-
It was good lovely day and summer vacation was about to end in a week's time. Our Yamada was coming back from Fishing with his folks from his club the Supernatural Club. Well Yamada was a atheist who never would believe in supernatural power but because of his friend Sanchi motomiya who could predict a future more like premonition of future glimpse was accurate so yamada was dragged by Sanchi and his friend circle to that Club. Yamada wasn't interested in the Club but because he didn't want to tore apart from his friends he joined it anyway. His Friend Circle consisted of 5 people including Sanchi and another girl named Yami Nishikawa, blonde short tempered and a bit short in height and in bust. She always envy Sanchi because of this difference. Other 3 are his friend or you could say brother in arms, Saito Nishikawa the older brother of Yami, although he got good height and built and also good in studies and face, the particular handsome-popular guy with Glasses, and Yamada's childhood friend more like brother. And there's also Touro kazukabe and Rito Zarambe, who are also called the "heads and tails duo" well because Touro is Fat, Tall, Glutton where as Rito is tiny shrimp and skinny well both are best buddies of each other like Yamada and Saito.
As the summer was about to end Yamada had a lot of fun during summer vacation and the holidays were about to end and it was last day so Yamada and his friends decided to fish in the Riverside Nego. He had Fished good bunch of fish but most best catch was Big Fish size of his hand all the 5 folks had to pull out together to catch it. Yamada took it home in his bucket with water so the fish wont dry out because of the scorching summer heat.
At last mom and dad would awestruck while i show this Mackerel size of a muuku( his pet dog). Dad always bragged about that he caught 8 fishes in 5 minutes but he cant beat me with the size that i caught today.
I remember he told me to forget fishing and better swat mosquitoes near by rather fishing and that it isnt my cup of tea!! Haa you Old hag just watch this time i m gonna make a stamp of this fish and hang it on the living room so you could remember your defeat for the rest of your lives!! Just wait you Old hag!
as he was continuing to think about how to taunt and brag to his dad he almost forget about the fish. It was Alive and just had fainted after it was fished out. Yamada was climbing a downslope and it was forest like area beside it was hills and yamada was in the foothills of it. It was steep downslope road when he was just immersed in his thinking about his great deed and how he could brag around, Suddenly the Fish start to shaking and jumping in the bucket ! The Fish was a size of a dog and carrying the bucket with that enormous monster fish+ other small fish + water and + the steel bucket wasn't easy. And there was this Steep downslope.
"What the....! You are back from the dead? Are you fucking zombie or what!! Stay dead you piece of a fish. I m your master now and your life belongs to me and you must....woh oww HOOLLYY SHITTTT Bahha" *smack* the fish jumps out of the Bucket and slams at Yamada's face and stars and moon and fishes pops at yamada's head and he gets a bit dizzy as the size of a dog but it weighed a bit much more than muuku he trips and backwards and the fish buckets land over his head and covers it like a helmet in Rugby match but + water no eye hole in helmet + fish and the smell! GROSS. now Yamada almost faints as he hits his head with the fall and than he start to roll like a log down the hill. He rolls and rolls downwards the steep sloping road, the fish running aways from Yamada was also running towards downhill flapping up and down but yamada overspeeds and overtakes over the fish!
The fish Been crushed underneath the Rolling Yamada the Unstoppable Rolls and rolls toward the Gate of the shrine! A old Shrine where people of the local area that live at hills and people nearby always make there offering at that Shrine. Knowns as the Wishful goddess KageTokiYuhi. The shrine also known as to fulfill the wishes who ever makes it whole-heartedly.
Yamada rolls toward the shrine and SMAASHEED to a statue and the head topples from the torso and instead yamada puts his own head and the buckets falls off when the momentum comes to the pause as he hit the statue. Theres a fish Stuck in yamada's Mouth and yamada eyes and are rolling in confusion. Now yamada Looks exactly the shrine guardian as he replaced the broken head with his own. After couple of minute Yamada come backs to his senses and sit upright to know what the f*ck just happened right now!
Did i just ride over a Roller coaster? Last time i remember was fishing and had caught the muuku Fish (he just named the fish muuku because of the dog..LAME!) And then it...BAAWWWAHHH *stumbles*
He just remembered that his priced possession wasn't there maybe he ran-away. He looks here and there for the fish and than he realize that uphill the road was something looks like a carpet, than he just holding his breath and gets closer!
What in the Hell happened to my muuku(fish) who just ironed over my lovely [he just did himself (-_-')]
"WHO DARES TO KILL MY MUUKU_KUN", shouts over his throat in the air. ( what's with the respectful _kun?)
"He was SO CHEERFUL AND HAPPY WHEN I CAUGHT HIM AND WAS TOO EAGER TO GET TO MY HOME AND MEET MY PARENTS" (happy? my ass!!)
"Now i cant even brag it to my dad or not have it even for my dinner! " (Now thats what he concerned about!!!!)
"This fish look like it Pooped right from the bear's ass without even digesting!" ( YOUR SO DISGUSTINGGGG!!!)
as he continues to sob over a spilt milk(fish), he returns to pick his bucket and fishing gear that lays at the entrance of the shrine with that sobbing and pissed of face.
As he picks at than come to realize that he broke the statue!!!
Oppise! Did a storm came and broke this? I don't remember how it broke! Well maybe the Tumbling down with the bucket cause THISSS!!!! crap!!
i must escape before anyone notice me!
He picks his stuff and ready to make an escape and trying to walk tiptoe away.
Damn that fish was a bad luck!! I must have chopped it there and treated everyone to food rather bragging and showing off to dad! HOLYY Crap that mean I was the one who squashed my own fish!!! And was shouting like a runaway folk from mental asylum!! Hope no one heard me and comes here i rather make my escape as soon as possible!!
"HEY YOU THERE MORTAL BEING! where do you think your going?" someone cries from the distant away.
It was a voice of a young beautiful Girl that was standing at the top of the shrine! The shrine was at the top at height because of the hill. Yamada shrieks in fear and turns slowly backwards to see who caught him red handed. And when he sees turn backwards he see a Beautiful girl standing with white robes and long frock in red resembling the shrine maiden uniform like cosplay with golden embedding over the robes. She had long Black straight hair that reached till her elbow. Her eyes were red as jewel itself, she was shooting daggers at yamada as a hubby caught red handed cheating by her wife! The situation itself was very intense but for Yamada....
Phew! She's just a cosplay freak girl. I think I can fool the chics like her with my manly personality as easy as pie :D ( LOL )
"Oh Hello there! You look lovely!!" replies Yamada cheerfully and acting as if he don't know a shit just had happened before.
btw she looks totally a freak as she runaway from mental asylum (HUH..look whose talking...buhh)
"How dare you talk like a your my equal you filthy Human" she answers with a serious look! ....god she was pissed!
What the fu*k is wrong with this chic I know she has mental issues but this is a limit. I shall be nice and try to pay along.\
"Umm......hey there I was just passing by Today Sure is a hot day right?" tries to be polite with fake smile on his face and you can see his muscle is paining with fake smile at his face.
"Just as i said you can't talk to me in that tone! where are your manners kid? Didn't parents taught you how to talk to a God!"
"Hey you bitch! how dare you insult my parents! YOU A GOD!! my ASS! just some random cosplay wont make you a god! get that straight bitch!"
he shouts all his heart at the top his voice. It echoed over the hill and there was this drop dead silence after the long pause as if what people calls it " The Calm before the storm" she watched me silently but her eyes told everything that she is gonna bite his ass of like a dog!
Yamada then turns his back and start to evade the chaos point! He starts walking away from the entrance and walks towards his home.
Suddenly....
"What penance are you going to offer for destroying of my guardian's statue"
she enquires the girl. Although she talks normally but her voice heeds properly to ears of yamada as she was standing beside her.
Yamada gets tensed again.
He turns back to see if he can dodge her.
"Listen Girl. I was passing by and i came across this ruble so i was inspecting who might the culprit be! I do read a lot of detective Comics so i thought i might get to some conclusion!
After the inspection, I came to know who might be the culprit could be! It was really tough! Detective isn't a child's play. You need to read a lot about the situation and the place of accident where it occurred. As per my calculation this work is of a cult that opposes the RELIGION! you know the people called atheist. They are making such ruckus and try to destroy people religion! But STILL THE FAITH IN HEARTS OF PEOPLE CAN NOT BE DEFEATED BY A MERE TERROR ATHEIST! According to my calculation it might be the work of Al-Qaida,
or Taliban! They are terrorizing people but Fear not they wont come here again! I just informed the local police about this and they might be hunting them down ANY MINUTE! So rest assured that nothing would happen in future! So i would take my leave here then! and by the way you wondering how am this Intelligent! But thats only because I read DETECTIVE CONAN! i got lot manga and i exchange some with my friends as i cant afford to waste every pocket money over a same manga! right?"
The lady doesn't move a muscle and stares him continuously, she got a faceless expression. Yamada also waits that she might reply......expectation-' Oh i see your so GENIUS! and so cool Thanks for everything!! and sorry for insulting you i shall bow down to your knees please accept my apology MY Lord YAMADA'...
But he still waits and this game turned out like stare your eyeballs till they pop out GAME!
I shouldn't have said the last line about the manga detective conan! Crap i am so ashamed!.....( wat the heck...what about other crap you blurted out?)
He turns his back and tries to walk out again.
"So see you later!" and waves his hand walking away from shrine showing his back towards her.
"You think that such petty lies can fool me with your petty lies, human?" she ask politely as her voice beams direct to his ears.
"huh? why would I lie! Listen I am getting late and I need to go! You cant blame anybody who just walks beside a crime scene! And now you making me piss with calling me Human again as if you are superior being yourself! Go have some medical check up before you go full out sane! AND STOP BITCHING!"
now that would settle the score and i shall make a run! and by the way i am die hard hungry! This girl is so annoying every now and then!
He continues his walking towards the road that leads to his home and than,
"I saw you petty creature that was smacked by your fish right at your face and than you wore the bucket at your head came tumbling a crushing your own prey and came slamming at my guardian statue! Your all Talk was a lie! you cant fool me I m the GODDESS DEITY OF THIS SHRINE. Your being very arrogant to your own god! But I am a kind god if you beg for mercy and apologize than I might even forgive you. So get down on your knees, Human"
Yamada face was bright red and was thinking and was in a shame!
Damn she saw all that stuff and I made a ass of myself with all this fake acting! all for nothing? I so ashamed that i might die!!
"IF YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT!!! SAY SO!!!!! I almost tried my so best to fake! you know? I m feeling like ass here that striped naked in front of the PUBLIC!! and by the way all stuff wasn't Lie!!! I DO READ DETECTIVE CONAN! EVERY MONTH!!!!" (geez no one cares about your favourite manga! JERK)
"Get on your knees! already" commands the girl.
"Huh? I shall pay for the Shrine statue rather i hurting my pride! and dont get much pushy if you Caught me red-handed! and please this God cosplaying is getting in my nerves! At first i played along but really calling yourself a god? its really funny tho. I dont get why people randomly believe stuff that doesn't exist? Its so annoying and pain in the ass! All that offering in Coins that the god gets! instead i could used it as my pocket-money rather!! Its annoying for people spending cash on non-existing stuff! its just all in your head! the shrine is a place to thug people of their moneys! Anyway how much do that shrine doll cost?"
he than grabs his pocket and removes his wallet and check the amount of money than he counts the cash in the wallet and hopes that he might get the answer about the cost but than after counting he gets his back to her what would she say! But that girl was just standing beside him! He startled a bit that how and when did she walked down the stairs of the temple!
Her Eyes were wide open and she was looking like if she as if she was middle-aged woman and that he had asked her what her age was!! Well lot of woman does show the same face when they were asked. This time yamada had a shriek of fear like she was gonna eat and gulp inside her in one sway! Yamada gets a bit freaked but doesnt shows his fear, he takes one step backwards and
"What the... Dont scare me like that!! as i said i m ready to pay for repairs or may be new one as replacement but it might take some time! So let me know how much for repairs and if worse than let me know for new one's cost rather?" he tries to confront her with money.
"So you dont believe I m a god? and not even the fact that God does exist? do you?" she dodges yamada's question and answer him with another question rather.
"See I don't believe on that shitty stuff!! I AM HUNGRY AND NEED TO GET HOME ASAP! mom has made my favorite dishes this fish was supposed to add more delight but LO! my shitty luck! just tell me how much i owe and I don't believe that your God! I could dress myself with glasses and call my self ! Hey I am detective Conan and doraemon is my neighbor but I dont give a shit! so I got 6000 yen on me i shall pay you this for now if it takes more I shall be back and pay it up! take this money for Now!"
After this yamada take the money in his hand to give her but she doesnt move a flinch and constantly stares at her. After a 10 second wait.
"What more do you want? I shall pay up more later! I swear take my number and name. My address is..."
"I dont want a money from atheist! Money cant replace my honor and sentimental that you just hurt now " She interrupts!
"WHAT SENTIMENTAL AND WHAT F*CKING HONOR! its not like you proposed me and that i call you - get lost ugly bitch. Wait a second are you in love with!! THATS WHY You stalling me here right? But I see i know i m cool and.."
"YOU IMBECILE FOOL! I CURSE IN THE NAME OF KAGETOKI CLAN THAT YOUR EXISTENCE BE FORGOTTEN BY EVERYONE PETTY HUMAN THAT COME NEAR TO YOU!" she shouts in howling sound her calm face was now in angry mode that he didn't expect! She Curses him and walks away to staircase to the Shrine.
"DAMN! that was rude of you I was just kidding! You dont need to act up with this all mighty god cosplay And throw curses to people like that! anyway if you dont want money than its your loss! than Bye Bye!" he replies hushes in hurry towards home and wave his hand facing backward but the girl didnt look back.
"The mortal being would come back to me again. Seeking for salvation. Until than.." The shrine door opens automatically like MAGIC same as the super market door and she enters and disappears in the dark room and the door shuts!. CREEPY!! Than the winds calm down and theres a dead silence all over the place. The sun is setting down at the opposite side where the shrine and hill are facing where the beautiful rays shone over the hills and the shrine as they are being illuminated. There light lanterns burning at the hills side as they are the abode the local people residing at the hills, the house litted with the light makes it look like fireflies sitting in the hills. The sunset is almost out but we could still see the lights and darkness slowly takes over the hills and only the fireflies like houses remain.
At the same time yamada is in his way to his house and its almost dark! He is lost in thought and walks in a way of rushing but he looks at the road with the empty bucket that reeks the smell of a dead fish!
What a worst ending of my remaining summer vacation!! It was all good until I the evening where I stumbled across that Shrine. I squashed my Best prey with my own hands! or rather with my body rolling over it... and had that unlucky intervention with the cosplaying good for nothing God! She thought of me her manslave and acted as mighty ruler of the Holy earth and what not!! I thought she had a crush on me or what and in the end I got cursed by that weirdo instead! Anyway I wont even date a girl like her its better if I avoid her or people may make me look a weirdo too like her!! Geez I need to hurry before the Tsuki (younger sister) eats over the meat before I reach!! Than I might be just left with VEGGIES instead!!!! CRAAAPP!!!
And yamada dashes with a speed as the house was almost at the next corner after a 20 minutes brisk walk! He takes a drift left and than dashes at his home entrance! And then entrance and dashes inside his house through the door!
"I m back! Sorry I got late and almost got stuck between a hustle with a weirdo that I encountered a while ago. I shall get Changed and than I so hungry that I might COLLAPSE! its good..." He talks in bit loud voice as he knows that his mom his in the kitchen where she always cooks, so he talks as loud until that voice that could reach the kitchen!
Yamada was removing his shoes while explaining his mom, But than mom suddenly dashes from the kitchen and stands upright in front of him. She has Cap like handkerchief tied over her head that replicates a chef cap and holds a knife and carrot in other hand thats half cut. She stumbles so fast and stand in front of him with a astonished! surprised look in her face! Yamada was puzzled with mom's reaction as if his mother caught him red handed while mastrubating or what!! Her sister Tsuki rushes out from the top floor staircase and she peeps and stand upfront with her with her both hands rest at her waist and she stares from above the stair case.
"Um? How can I help you child?" answers back mother to yamada, she still has the astonished look while both sis and mom waits for yamada's reply!
"Well help me to fill my stomach with The Sukiyaki and the hamburger steak that you made before THAT HUNGRY LONE WOLF EATS MY PART BEFORE HAND!!" yamada points his finger towards her sister! With serious look in his face and pointing towards his sister that stood upstairs! He takes her mother Questioning as a joke that her mother made!
Her Sister shocks as and startled as she was called a HUNGRY WOLF! and freezed at her place! Yamada dodges his mother that was blocking his way inside her mother and steps in the with the stinking bucket inside the house!
Damn! This smell of mom's hand cooked food is making this look like the place like the Garden Of Eden! While this Shitty stinky good for nothing bucket is killing the mood with the awful stink of the fish that only make me remember of the failure I encountered Today! Hope to place it inside somewhere Good before it tampers the mood in the house.
as he continue to think to what to do with bucket! Than he decides to place it bathroom while he closes near the door that was just steps ahead of the entrance, in front was the Living room which had Big sliding windows that where He could see the backyard of his house! and beside it was kitchen and the other opposite side was the place where he just entered from his house. He just places hand at the door knob. Her mother gushes again towards him and blocks the bathroom with still the astonished face and little scared look in her face!
His mom's height was about the shoulder level of Yamada where she gazed at his eyes with the feared look in her eyes!
"Excuse me MR. you cant...just suddenly barge in anyones ... house like that!! ..are you robber or what..??" she stumbles and stutters while asking and exclaiming with still blocking his wave with both hands across her arms making a pose like jesus on the cross! Her scary face wasn't looking like she was in the mood of joke!
"huh?....If you are joking ..than I think you need to drop it, Mom. It really isn't funny I m die hard hungry that I might pass out anytime!" he answers back thinking that she need to quit joking if she is pulling one!
"WHO THE HELL! ARE YOU BREAKING IN OUR HOUSE!!" Tsuki comes running down from her room upstairs with a Baseball bat in her right hand!
And she rushes towards him! He freaks out a bit. She halts in a foot distance with yamada and her mother. She arms up the bat that is ready to swing to hit his face! She got a bit tensed and scared face too but she doesn't try to show that and got a blood thirst anger at her face!!!
I seriously dont get WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING IN MY OWN HOUSE
