It was a dark and cold day in the autumn. The sensation that the weather gave almost felt like it was a winter. The snow was everywhere as far as one person eyes could see.
It used to be a peaceful place until a hordes of cold monster came from a portal near the fives island located on the west of the continent. They brought calamity not only to the inhabitants but also to the nature itself.
Moreover, the mysterious horde brought a winter along with them. They marched forth right after the blizzard froze the way for them.
A group of humans were travelling across the white thick forest. They were being escorted by a group of knights and some militias from their own rank. One of the militia was carrying a banner with a red lion on it.
Furthermore, the sadness was visible on their faces especially the children. The caravan had been travelling toward the east which they had to keep on going as something was chasing them.
"Mommy, where are we going?"
One of the children, a little girl around 6-8 years asked the elder. She had a doll made out of leather and straw which had been by her side all the time.
"We're going to the harbor, dear."
"How long are we going to reach it?"
"Just a few days, dear."
"My girl is strong, right?"
"Uhm."
The young girl nodded with determination with a big smile on her cute face. As they were journeying through the forest, the leader of the caravan raised his right up as his animal partner stopped after a few gallops.
"We'll camp here."

Meanwhile, the harbor became busy when the sudden winter hit the kingdom. The markets were being swarmed by the people who wanted to purchase the goods.
There was an eye catching ship which caught the attention of almost every passer by. It was a yellow galleon that had been docking on the harbor.
Within the galleon, three figures were in a heat discussion regarding the current event. Two female knights and an old wizard had been reaching a dead end since the arrival of the invaders.
A blonde knight with a hair drills style was standing on the right side of her fellow knight. Her body was in a pear shape size matching with her twin small "mountains."

Three continents were connected side by side with a large island that was acting as a neutral ground for the nations to do trading without any diplomatic conflicts.
The long red haired knight was pondering the map before she asked the old wizard a question.
"Merlin, how do we proceed from here?"
"Your highness, our nation had suffered a devastating blow from the otherworldly enemies."
"We know nothing of them and we're force to flee to this very harbor."
The wizard, Merlin tried to fight the hordes with his magic yet it was proven furtile.
"What about the other two nations?"
The elderly wizard explained that the Elven Kingdom which was inhabitated by the elves possessed a powerful artifact that protect them from the winter.
Next, the Demon Federation had a powerful guardian who casted a powerful spell, allowing the continent to flourish by feeding on the enemy life force.
The human race had a treasure once but it was lost during the war against the demon race which causing a great casualties on the humans thus ending the war. It happened long before the appearance of the otherworldly enemies.

The pain of watching her family confronting the Frost, had left a scar in her heart that was nearly impossible to cure.
"Merlin, we're going to the Fog of Forgotten."
"Wha… What, your highness?"
"I beg your pardon."
"I said we're sailing across the Fog of Forgotten."
The elderly man just had his heart skipped a beat as his eyes were widen as round as a circle because the place that his princess mention was suicidal. He took a piece of cloth to wipe the sweats on his face.
"B… Bu…"
"Merlin, I made my choice."
The wizard could only sighed in defeat as it was furtile to convice the stubborn princess. His only task was to keep the princess safe.
"Ashley, tell the soldiers that we set sail tomorrow at dawn."
"At once, milady."
Upon recieving her order, the knight, Ashley left the scene leaving only the princess and the wizard.
"I know that I always think about nation but I cannot help it."
"The people need me, my family need me and yet here I am, running away while the nation suffer."
"Your highness, I've been watching you grow up since you're just a month old."
"No matter what your decision is, I'll always support you."
"To me, yo-"
Merlin was cut off when he saw an emotional scene before him. The princess was hugging the body of a man in his twillight years as both party were shedding tears.
"Merlin, you're always there for me every time father scolds me."
"You always take the blame for my action."
The previous proud princess turn into a little girl who got scared of being left alone. The force implying on the hug nearly break the wizard's back.
"Yo… Your… Highness?"
"Yes?"
"You're… hurting… me."
Upon noticing the problem, she separated herself allowing the old man to take a breath.
