Rain fall relentlessly around me. Tapping a particular tune as it violently hits against the surface of my hand held umbrella. Watching from the inside of the comfort of my umbrella. As the countless numbers of rain drops, swiftly dribble down the surface of my umbrella. Eventually tumbling to the ground with a light splash.

Leaving my mind occupied by my thoughts, as the sound of rain drives away all of my distractions and desires. While I continue to walk down the streets of my old neighbourhood, amidst the heavy raining in my surroundings.

Thinking to myself. I start to remember quite a few of my happy memories from my early childhood days, up till now. Being young and quite enthusiastic about life, free from the chains of what is called adulthood... attending mandatory school, socialising with my friends and more.

Those times sure are priceless compare to nowadays. Being occupied by work and the things we do in our daily routine, that leaves us with so little time to socialise with others that it saddens me quite a bit.

Humph... working as a free Lance artist and a animator is not a easy job, although they do complement each other. To be more specific, the art I do is more of a illustration to comics and manga I do part time by myself. Even accepting commissions for any piece of artwork done by a professional.

A self and sustainable lifestyle that is quite peaceful and quiet without much excitement, but can be quite profitable sometimes. Oh, I just remembered something. I guess, I haven’t introduced myself yet, haven’t I. 

Name’s Bai Hui, by the way. I’m 21 this year and currently single. Bai meaning white and Hui meaning intelligent in my language. Well, being born innately knowing two languages is quite advantageous to having to learn them later on down the lines. Considering Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn in my expert opinion.

While my mind was being occupied by my thoughts. I didn’t hear the sounds of heavy footsteps approaching me quickly at a distance, cloaked by the heavy raining of my surroundings. A shadow of a figure quickly approaches me by my back. Immediately pushing me to the side and on to the ongoing traffic, sending me to my Immanent Demise. 

Regaining my composure shortly afterwards. I tried my best and quickly as possible to get off the on going traffic, but it was too late as a nearby vehicle hit me straight on, sending my body flying forward. Head first into the ground, completely snapping the bones in my spine and neck in the process, severing the nerves which controls the rest of my bodily functions.

Now that my body is fill to the brim with so much pain. I immediately pass out, leaving my body passed out on the ground bleeding uncontrollably, organs probably punctured by my shattered spine... it was then that I knew that I have just died then by a unfortunate car accident, that was completely not my fault at all.
