Prologue
The Prologue was already done before the 1st chapter, but since it was short, I had this posted afterwards.
The Ten True Gods arrived on a rocky planet. They felt the bountiful life sleeping within its core.
The First God said, "Let there be air." And then there was air. Strong wind, gentle breeze, both traveled over the surface of the world.
The Second God said, "Let there be water." And then there was water. Rain fell all over the world and oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water appaered.
The Third, Fourth, Fifth Gods said, "Let there be life." And then there was life.
Trees, vines, grass, shrubs, flowers, and other flora sprouted from the ground, shades of green covered the hearth.
Beasts that crawl the on the ground roamed the world.
Beasts that ride the winds soared in the sky.
Beasts that flow with the current swam through the seas and rivers, and other bodies of water.
The Sixth God said, "Let there be intelligent beings that rule over these creations." And then they were born.
Humans built their cities.
Elves hunted in the forests.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Dwarves mined in the mountains.
The Seventh God said, "Let there be evil." And then evil descended upon the lands.
War between races, war amongst their kind.
Beasts mutated into demonic creatures.
Demons and forces of darkness razed the lands.
The Eighth God said, "Let there be good." And then good sprouted within the hearts of living beings.
Heroes appeared and ended the wars.
Mythical creatures subdued the demonic beasts.
Angels and holy beings forced the demons to hide underground.
The Ninth God said, "Let there be balance." And then there was balance.
Calamities struck reducing overpopulated races.
The power of mythical creatures were restricted.
Neither good nor evil triumphed.
And finally the Tenth God looked amongst the other Gods and smiled, and said, "I bestow upon thee, beings of the world, a chance to be God, to change the world or change yourself as you see fit. This tower I create as a path to the Heavens where we the Ten True Gods reside. Succeed through the trials, and ascend to this place!"
And with that, the first tower pierced through the sky and landed on the world, paving the Heaven's Road.
