"Even if we choose to close this chapter, I'll always cherish you." Said Nicholei. Samantha threw heavy sobs and tears because she knew from that moment that she will loose someone who used to be her World; someone who understands her and makes her laugh; someone who is capable on loving her and most of all, someone who accepts her. That moment, she knew she's doing something right yet very painful. Something she will do not because she want to but because she have to. She has to cut the strings attached between the two of them for some reasons God knows what.
"I know Nick. I'll do the same. You know since then that I have been true to you, that I have been loving you- truly. But look, it does not sound and feel right anymore. Let's stop this, i quit." The words she just uttered wasn't what she wanted to say Behind Sam's mind, she wanted to say how much she loves nick, how much she is hurting knowing that she is hurting Nick's heart big time this time. It hurts to see Nick crying this hard in front of her. This is the first time she saw Nick cry this hard, like a child. "Nick, i don't love you anymore." She continued. And with that, her voice cracked as she choked on the words. Tears fell and she couldn't help it anymore, she stood up and bid goodbye by saying "Goodbye nick. Thanks for everything. You shall be fine." then, she walked away. Crying.
She got out of the cafe where they met and drove her car with all her might. She wished to undo everything she did. She wished she could take back all the words she told Nick because everything she said were all lies. She didn;t mean everything. She wanted to go back to the cafe where she left her heart broken into tiny pieces seeing Nick, the love of her life, hurting.. crying.. God knows she did not ment everything she said. she has to hurt nick so that he will stop bugging her. She have to. she have to.
Convincing herself never to cry, she failed. As if her tears has their own mind, they kept on falling. She stopped the car near a bench in a park and cried herself out. She wanted to go back to her condomenium unit in one piece so she cried herself and ease the pain. But, the pain was just too real. She wanted to hurt herself but then again, she couldn't do anything about it.
Nick used to be the sweetest, coolest, and the most kind human-beig she has been in a relationship. Sam and Nick has been into a relationship they both call, UNIQUE. Sam, was a graduating Agriculture student in a prestigious University in the Eastern side of the country when they first met while Nick works as a project Engineer in a private sector company in the country that roams around. Their relationship is Unique. In all angles, in every way. They have few stolen moments, limited communication and they should never go public. In every way, they are both cautious. they never take pictures together and they are never showy in front of everyone. Sam is purely an epitome of Mary, untouched and single while Nick was totally the opposite of Joseph, he is Married, for fiften years and has four kids, two boys, two girls. That's what makes their relationship unique, Sam is a mistres, and Nick is having an affair.
A mistress is something the society looks as a douchebag, garbage and an image not so good to everyone. To those who were not gifted with an open mind, they would judge Sam by it's cover and not by the contents. Sam knew that people would hate her and that no one will be pleased with what she is, she sacrificed alot for the relationship and so is Nick. Nick has been a good man despite with everything. They both got along too well and they made memories they both treasure and for sure, those memories were unforgettable as well. Sam knew her place in Nick's life and Nick gives Sam his time when they have a chance. They support each other and they comfort eac other,as well, they find great company with each other. Their relationship was never about lust, it was about happiness and memories they made with each other. It's not about money, it's about the emotions and changes they brought for each other that money can't buy. For example, Nick has a kidney stone and he is under medication, he quit taking the medicines for long until she knew Sam, he take the medicine again and do his monthly check up. Another, Nick and his wife does not sleep together for many years, until Sam brought light to Nick and adviced him to sleep with his wife, play with the kids even once a week and so Nick did and now, it bought good outcome. Sam brought so much for Nick and Nick is completely in love with Sam because of all the good things Sam did for him. Sam changed Nick's perceptions in evrything and to how he sees the world.
They were both in love with each other. But, too late. What they found is the right love at the wrong time.
