Jaimie was taking legal advice for the mansion incident. As Mark's finger print was identified amongst others, as a prison breakout, they were going at it from a self-defense angle. Will tried to move on. He was focusing on the internship that he had right now. Aron's threat, Victor's death and the Magnus motors incident haunts him every day. Jaimie offered him a visit once a week in his new place. Will has spent almost all he had on security gadgets and was borderline paranoid about it.
Mike volunteered to do in-call consultation twice a week which he had to mandatorily attend. He will be offered in person therapy with Mike's abilities once he was back. Jaimie frequently iterated to not turn himself over in current circumstances and enrolled him in charities for the time being if he needed solace.
All of them were filled with fear in their minds and uncertainties regarding their future. Every time they passed a demonstration asking for revelation regarding freaks with powers, they had to regain their composure. They will never know how the now soft-spoken neighbors would react if they were to be outed someday or if their powers manifest beyond their control. But life had to move on. They all needed to dig into themselves and find something to keep their sanity. Life is only as meaningful as one makes it to be. Maybe sometimes, it needs to get worse to get better.
