Sonnet 20
The Downcast Mountain
Written by: Ariel Cabasag
No scented hills cover the clouds
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Except the thorny wind flawed at me
No air be the way
Hath soil rummaged on hills
Till I transformed into a wing
All nights of flying on sky
No impeccable eyes clinched the sea
Where painful dreams down the bay
All days still shine,
Yet, a mountain hankered to be gone
Will the sun fell down the tree?
Rainbow won’t cover me,
Except the trillion tears, as hurt as chili
