A mere two hundred years ago the world was changed forever. A great disaster, understood by no one at the time, destroyed the world, leaving barely any towns standing. In the aftermath people with supernatural abilities appeared one after another, all over the world, daring to break what little was left of society.  Now, two hundred years later the world has found a new order. The existence of these "Gifted Ones" is still one shrouded in mystery and fear, but since they aren't going away, humans have no choice but to accept their existence and a new societal order is born, with Gifted Ones at the top. Shaky as it is, the current world provides the common people with a sense of stability and normalcy, that has been missing for a long time after the disaster. However, not nearly everyone feels satisfied with the cards they are dealt and different people, driven by their own specific circumstances, spin their own stories in this world. Sometimes they are all alone, sometimes their stories intertwine, sometimes they tell a happy story, sometimes they tell a tragic tale, but one thing is clear: This world will never go back to the way it was and neither will it's people.
