Chapter 3 (Meditation)
"Ughhh My heads on fire" he said after waking up "What happened?" Lee grabbed his head and tried to get up.
"Lay back down." Lees grandma said after putting some food on his bedside.
"Be glad you didn't have any permanent damage done to your body." Mary said as she sat down on a couch the opposite of Lee.
"Can you tell me what happened when you entered your meditive state?" Lees grandmother asked him.
So Lee proceeded to tell her everything that happened.
Thats about it Lee said. "D-Did you say the last thing you saw was a piece of paper?" Lees grandmother asked excitedly.
"Thats right." Lee confirmed "Please show me your power so I can be sure." "How do i do that" lee asked
"Its simple, all you do is enter youre meditative state again, however dont wory it isn't dangerous anymore." "Why isnt it dangerous?" Lee asked curiosly "Well you see when you enter a meditave state for the first time you unlock your mental energy, the reason why its dangerous is because your mental energy is litterly destroying and recreating your mind over and over again to have an area to store your mental energy,thats the reason why its more dangerous, the more mental energy you have the more it has to recreate your brain."
"How do you know so much about psychic abilities I thought you didn't have a psychic ability?" Lee asked curiosly
"I said I wasn't born with an ability." She raised her hand and a smoldering ball of fire appeared out of knowhere on her hand. "Even if someone isn't born with an ability they can still train their mental energy to develop one." She closed her hand and the flame disappeared. "Now back on to the subject of your power when you enter you meditive state you should see a ball of light and you the object your ability represents beside it." "When you enter this state you want to simply grab the object and it should be brought back with you when you leave the state."
Lee closed his eyes and entered his mental state. The first thing he saw was the familiar black room with a ball of light about the size of a basketball floating in the air. However beside it was a piece of Paper, with only a single word written down on it.
Skills
"Skills what does that mean?" Lee thought "I can just ask grandma when i show her my power." Lee said as he grabbed the peice of paper.
He opened his eyes and he saw a piece of paper floating in the air. As he looked at his grandmother he saw she was in tears. "I-it realy is the same" she said wearingly."Whats wrong grandma" lee asked concerningly. "Im fine Lee." she said as she wiped her tears away. "What is my power and what does the skills mean." Lee asked curiously.
"Your power is called scientiakinesis." "It is the ability to manipulate knowledge, it is both the weakest power and the strongest power." "You can learn certain things much faster than ordinary people." "For example if it takes someone a year to learn a different language it would take you a month." "If you learn something to a point it will be labled on your power as a skill." "Skills get bonuses compared to it's regular counterparts."

"What keeps something from being labled as a skill?" Lee asked curiosly. "Diffuculty, for example you would learn a skill on quantum physics, however learning how to walk wouldn't be a skill." "You can even learn psychic abilities if you know enough about them."
"However it comes with a risk, if you learn false information about the subject, it can hurt you or your ability. "
"So I can learn more than one psychic ability." Lee asked curiously
"Yes, however it takes allot of time to learn different abilities."
"We should start you with a simple power, telekinesis."
She said as she started walking to a book shelf.
"Here is a book about your ancestor Russel Morris who had the ability of telekinesis." She said as she handed him a book that was in suprizingly good shape for its age. It had large red print on the front reading "Russel Morris - Telikinesis"
Lee opened it up and started reading
"Telekinesis is all about understanding the thing you are trying to move the more you understand about the material the easier it is to move. You need to understand the details about the object from the size of the object, to the material and even the weight, in order for you to move anything it helps to understand the following things about the object "
1 - (The weight)
2 - (The size)
3 - (The material)
4 - (The density)
5 - (The mass)
"The more complex an object is the harder it is to lift, for example you might have a harder time moving a phone compaired to a spoon"
"Telekinesis isn't just about moving objects with your mind, it is also about forming a cloud with you mental energy, the more of an area you form, the longer the range you can move an object. Weight is also a factor in the equation the heavier an object is the more energy it takes."
Lee closed his book and checked his ability.

"Its already at 2%." he said suprised. He continued reading about telekinesis for hours and hours until it was night.
{knock knock knock}
Lee shut the book and opened his door. "Did you not stop reading at all?" She asked him. "I was too enthralled in the book." He said with a weary smile. "How far did you proggress." She asked him curiosly. "I don't know let me check." He said curiously.

I"m already at 20%." Lee said excitedly. Not bad, not bad at all, within a few days it should evolve into minor telekinesis.
After talking for a while she warned him "You should really get some rest, you just entered your first meditative state it realy puts a strain on your mind." She warned him
"What about school?" Lee asked curiosly. "From now on your home schooled, we will start next week for now just try to finish learning about telekinesis." She said with a smile.
"Okay goodnight grandma." Lee said "Goodnight honey." She said as she shut the door.
