A lot of people wonder how much power a God really has, not referring to the big religious Gods that made the world but lesser Gods like the God of fire or the God of water

How much power do these Gods hold? And how hard is it for an average person to compete against them? Wouldn't the God of Fire be bad at swimming? So that means that a human can win against him right? Then Gods aren't the perfect being, are they?

But Gods aren't made on their own, and they are not worshiped and praised by themselves, Gods need humans and we humans need Gods, no God is strong unless worshiped so could there be a God that we humans can beat in a fistfight?

That's what a boy thought as he watched the clouds from the airplane he was flying on

"I'm super excited to see how will the tournament turn out! How about you Sisyphus?" A boy sitting next to the overthinking boy asked

"We trained harder than the last generation of students so I will say we have a shot at this!" Sisyphus answered

"Don't get too cocky kids! There is always a bigger fish in the sea!"

It was the coach of the kids

"Even though we are considered the best in our area and were called to these small islands where the big fighting tournament will be hosted we still have a lot to learn so don't go around feeling happy, unless you win you have no right to celebrate"

The coach of the kids was very tough on them for a good reason, they were good fighters so he didn't want the power they had to corrupt them or disorient them from their goals

Eventually, the kids reached their first airport, where they were met by many groups of martial artists

"Sisyphus check these chicks out! They are from a tae kwon do group! I bet they have massive legs!"

"Shut up Nick, you filthy pervert! We are here to fight... Holy shit they are gorgeous!" Sisyphus said as he took a better look at them

While staring at them a cheerful girl in that group noticed them and waved at them

"Yoooo! She waved at me!" Nick said with a smile

"No way! She definitely waved at me!" Sisyphus said with an equally happy smile on his face

The two boys stared at each other and temporarily fought before getting smacked by their upper-classmen

"What are you two idiots doing? Focus on our goal, not on some random chicks!"

"Sorry, Han!" Both of them said

After everyone got ready the coach gathered everyone and told them that the flight will begin in two hours so they had time to explore the airport

"Do you think what I'm thinking?" Nick asked Sisyphus

Without answering the two guys wondered in the airport in hopes to find the tae kwon do group they saw earlier but this time Han, their superior, tagged along

"Come on man! We just want to hit it with some girls! Can't we do that in peace?" Nick asked Han

"I-I wasn't planning on stopping you, I was a-actually going to tag along so I-I can find a c-c-chick!" Han said while stuttering a lot

"Hahaha! Since when did you become a player!" Sisyphus said as he busted out laughing along with Nick

Their laughter was quickly cut short but a punch in both of their stomachs

"Shut up and let's go idiots!" Han said as he started walking forward

The now three guys searched for the group and eventually found a smaller group of girls sitting in a coffee shop, and among the girls in this group there was the girl that waved at Nick and Sisyphus

"Hello, ladies! I couldn't help but stare at you when I first noticed you! Only the tae kwon do ladies have such charming features" Nick said with a smile

'I swear this guy's vocabulary expands when he speaks with girls...' Sisyphus thought as he stared at Nick's face

"Oh, you are from back then! What sport do you do? You all look very strong!" The girl that waved at them asked

This single world made the girls a bit distant

"I heard that Muay Thai is very violent and the people doing it are very aggressive!" A girl said

"No, no! I promise we are good guys! I mean we try to be, but no matter how violent it seems muay Thai actually requires a lot of discipline and respect!" Han explained to them

"Can I ask you all a question?" Sisyphus asked with a blank look on his face

They all agreed

"None of you are the strongest in your group, right? It must be another girl"

"What? What makes you say that?" A girl asked with anger in her voice

"Your aura... You don't give off something else than mediocre" Sisyphus said with a cold voice

"Excuse him, ladies! This guy is just a freaking nerd so don't mind him too much!" Nick said as he punched Sisyphus in the stomach before taking him away

"What are you doing dude? I will never get them to suffocate me with their legs if you say stuff like that!" Nick whined

"What the hell are you saying, you idiot? I just expressed how I feel!"

"Well screw you and your feelings now I already lost my chance! Now I have to search for the track team!" Nick said before leaving Sisyphus behind

Han also returned to the coach because he was too shy to talk to girls alone

'Screw him! I can't stand people that like to present themselves as the best in a group when there is clearly a person stronger than them' Sisyphus thought as he walked around the airport with his head glued to the ground

Suddenly he found himself in an open area with windows that had a great view at the planes that ascended or landed, surprisingly this area was empty except for one girl from the tae kwon do group, she was practicing her kicks, this view was mesmerizing for Sisyphus he never knew how beautiful someone practicing martial arts could be, especially when the girl threw a high kick while a plane passed behind her

The girl had long brown hair tied into a ponytail

Sisyphus stared for a lot of time before the girl was over, she then looked at Sisyphus and asked

"You! You are from the Muay Thai group, aren't you? What belt do you have?"

"Brown and I'm on my way to go to Brown-white, how about you?"

"Half black! Who do you think would win in a fight between us?" The girl asked with a straight face

"No matter how hard you try you will lose" Sisyphus said with as much respect as he could show

"I see... Then if I told you I did capoeira at a high-end level then would your answer change?" The girl asked

"Nope, I will still win!"

'I can tell her aura is so much different than others but I can't see a future she wins' Sisyphus thought as he stared at her glowing hazel eyes

"Then why don't we find out right here?" She asked as she got into a fighting position

"For real? Okay, I will use just my legs to make it fair!" Sisyphus said as he approached the girl

The two of them bowed at each other and then fought, Sisyphus started aggressively by kicking but the girl either blocked or dodged the attacks she also fought back by punching a bit

"You are good!" Sisyphus said as he backed down for a bit

"You are not half bad either! But you should use your arms!" The girl said as she saw his hand tied together behind Sisyphus's back

"I said I don't nee-"

Before Sisyphus could end talking he was hit by a capoeira kick, almost knocking him out cold

'What the hell was that?' Sisyphus thought as he started throwing punches and elbow attacks

But to his surprise the girl dodged everything and stoke back, Sisyphus then ducked under one of her kicks and elbowed her in the chin

'Holy shit! Did I knock her out?' Sisyphus thought as he saw the girl slowly fall behind

Surprisingly the girl used her hand to spin herself around and with an impressive spin she kicked Sisyphus with the back of her leg on the head

"Are you alright?" The girl asked him

Sisyphus was laying on her legs, he also tasted blood, the kick the girl hit him with made his cheek bleed from inside his mouth

"I'm good, I didn't expect you to hit me this hard!" Sisyphus said as he laughed off the fact that he lost the fight

"I got mad because you hit me hard too! Sorry..." The girl said as her mood changed

Sisyphus got up and smiled

"I enjoyed fighting with you and I'm sorry I doubted you! May ask you for your name?"

"My name is Hory!" The girl said surprised

"And my name is Sisyphus! And I hope we get to meet again!" He said with a big smile on his face

"But we are, in the tournament on the island, when we arrive there how about we go out for food or something" The girl said as she looked straight into Sisyphus's eyes

"Okay! That's a promise! See you then!" Sisyphus then paused for a moment

"Wait what time is it?" He asked

"6:32"

When the girl checked the time on her watch both of them realized that in 8 minutes they were leaving, so they both ran as fast as they could

"I HAVE TO GO TO SOMEWHERE SO CONTINUE WITHOUT ME!" Hory yelled before changing her course

'Wait now that I think about it I'm very close to them so I will stop running' Sisyphus thought as he started walking

On his way to the meeting point he passed near the liquor section where a two-meter-tall woman dressed in a brown coat was looking for something, she had her bag facing Sisyphus but that still didn't prevent him from feeling this feeling of distress, Sisyphus felt as he needn't make a noise, if he did he thought that something bad would occur so he quietly passed behind her while staring at her at the whole time

'Her aura was scary...' He thought as he continued to walk

But he suddenly bumped into a person, this person had short black hair and black eyes with pale skin, he looked quite weird

"I'm sorry!" Sisyphus said

"No problem! I was at fault here too!" The guy said

'What is wrong with these people?' Sisyphus thought as he took a good look at his face

The person's face was mature yet childish, masculine yet feminine, old yet young, he looked like a robot

"What's the issue? Do I have something on my face?" The man asked as he started to rub his face

"No I just was thrown off by your eye color" Sisyphus said as he tried to walk away

"It's okay everyone fears what they can't understand Sisyphus"

Sisyphus paused when he heard that

'How does he know my name?'

"What's wrong? I thought you looked for thrills, I thought that was what you wanted. Encountering different kinds of auras and people no matter how weird or crazy they were, right?"

"But you... You don't have an aura" Sisyphus said as cold sweat ran down his face

"Really? I guess I'm something too much for you then? Anyway, see you later! If later ever comes that is" The guy said as he started walking away

"Oh! By the way, my name is Inanis!"

Inanis then disappeared the day continued as planned, Sisyphus got into the plan with Nick sitting next to him and departed for the islands the big martial arts tournament will be hosted
