In one man’s mind, a theory was once created: If this timeline exists, why can’t other timelines that may or may not have similarities also exist simultaneously?
This normal world. With normal things that we take for granted. The air we breathe, does there not exist another moment in another timeline, where breathing is not necessary? How about food? Some of us will eat a few meals a day and others will not eat at all. Does there not exist a timeline where the rich eat nothing, but the poor eat like kings?
No? These don’t exist? I would like you to show me some proof. You mortals are all the same, saying things that sound impossible are impossible and therefore cannot exist within reality. Does there not exist a timeline where that is true? However, there must also be a place where the opposite will be the truth, a timeline where nothing is impossible, even the impossible. Does there not exist, such a wonderful place?
There does. Probably…
Nevertheless, the point lies elsewhere. I mean to say that there is always a possibility for something to exist, there may even be a timeline where there is nothing at all, not even existence itself. A story where there is a man, maybe in another timeline it is a woman. In the end though, this story will follow the man.
This man is at first a normal teenager living a normal life. He is born in a normal family in a normal town in a normal world. Normal? What is it? Boring, the man himself thought. He lives a slow life, never truly being ambitious. He goes through school with his normal looks, achieving normal grades, getting a normal diploma from a normal college.
This man lived. Then he died.
But there was a timeline where he didn’t. There existed a timeline where he lived one more year.
Then there was a timeline where magic existed, so the man was able to live for at least another year.
A timeline where time itself was objective, humans had learned to harness time, so their perception of time was a fraction of what is classified as ‘normal’. A few years here… I think, it’s very hard to count time when there is no measurement.
Science fiction worlds with human-robot hybrids. A world where death was only caused by external means.
A timeline of immortality, where humans had learned to cultivate with their bodies and gain what most will never have learned, even if trillions of years passed. Humans that could do things labelled as ‘impossible’.
A place where monsters were more common than the air we breathe. Humans nearly extinct, but a man had learned to tame these beasts and fuse them in to himself to gain something akin to immortality.
Another year here. Another year there. How many years did this man live? No one can say for sure.
Then there was a timeline where time travel was possible, but caused death upon use, and this man was the one that first tested it. So he started over. The timeline looped. His death signaled the start of another journey of the same man in a different timeline, but he looped, dying while young, so somehow… he ended up back in his original timeline.
Oh, I’ve become forgetful in my advancing age, I forgot to mention something of slight importance. This man keeps his memory when he dies as his consciousness shifts to another timeline. So as he lives through the end of the other lives, he gains all of their knowledge, while keeping his own intact. Gathering knowledge from endless amounts of different timelines where anything is possible.
Many timelines have theorized about crossing the barrier between timelines. The place that had gods wandering around like children, even they were not capable of crossing this barrier… but this man did so without even lifting a finger. It would be strange if he did lift a finger as he has to die in order to cross and it isn’t even a willing crossing, he is forced in to it.
So. This is a story that follows a man who has lived millions of lives, restarting his first life. Why you may be asking? Why not? Seems like it will be something fun to follow.
The story begins with the man, now young adult, walking towards his first day of university. This abnormal man, heading down and abnormal path, walking with an abnormal step. His head looks up and gazes towards the towering building ahead of him.
The building was covered in a layer of old vines. The windows had all been recently replaced, giving an awkward feel as you looked at the discoloration of the bricks the building was made of. The young adult lowers his head as he continues to walk towards the building with a slight smile on his face. This was different than when he went through the timeline the first time.
He was an average man. Now, he is recognized as a super genius, heading down the path of infinite success… or so he believed. He had yet to do anything other than ace the entrance test for the university. The person in question still continued to smile long after this thought had passed through his head.
The man had kept a low profile throughout his childhood, starting his training regimen he learned in another timeline. He had already figured out that even if he was in a different timeline, the things he learned could still be used. This was amazingly advantageous for him, as he had learned magic as soon as he could think, could lift a car with a single hand at the age of five. He was not able to recreate his time machine however, due to the fact that some important technology had not been invented and he did not even know if some of the materials necessary even existed in this timeline.
However, as the man sat down carefully in to a random seat near the middle of the classroom, he thought to himself, ‘I never realized how boring this world is, now that I could theoretically do anything I wanted to. I chose to go to school and major in English language… Why?’
He laid his head on to the desk and contemplated his life’s decisions. In the end, he let out a sigh that slightly wetted the oak wood desk that he had laid his head upon. He leans back in the chair, as it was an office chair that looked at least one model up from the cheapest, and looks around the classroom.
It was a simple lecture room with the back being slightly higher than the front, in order to let students see the professor a bit better. The desks were all a stained oak that looked rather nice for a school like this. The chairs, standard black chair that leans back a little bit, not that the chairs needed to be too fancy. The wall to my left had pictures of famous quotes, some fancy shmancy paintings, and a bunch of odd things that the professor probably thought would be relevant to the class.
Students start to slowly fill up the classroom and sit scattered around. Some of the students looking calm and others nervously moving their heads around, trying to figure out where to sit. ‘That was me when I was going through this timeline my first time. Ah, the days of youth, how wasteful they truly are.’
“Hello everyone!” The female professor shouts to the class as she closes the door behind herself. “I am Professor Mana. I will be teaching this English major class, and for the first time since the start of this school, we will keep it as a single class rather than spreading it in to multiple programs, due to the request of one of the board heads.”
The classroom quickly goes in to a clamor. First of all, the teacher was slightly attractive. She was a young thirty-something that had long blonde hair and a curvy figure in a black, form-fitting, skirt suit and wearing black high heels. The young adult didn’t care about looks and just shrugged his shoulders, continuing to lean back in his chair. Secondly, having a single class was amazing. Students who actually looked at what they were paying were less surprised by this announcement.
“I guess it’s time to start singling the people who did well out.” The professor looks around the class and she looks towards the young adult. “You, the handsome looking gentleman. You did well on the entrance exam, no?”
“Yeah, I think I did okay at least.” He scratches his head with a wry smile on his face. He thought it was unfortunate how the professor is singling him out already. He wanted to keep a low profile until he at least graduated. “I only missed a single question, but how can I be at fault for talking about something that even you guys didn’t know about? Even the questions was wrong, so you have to mark me wrong as well?”
“Well… I wasn’t expecting a rant. No matter. Please try to be on your best behavior in this class as I can and will fail you if I see the need to do so.” The professor sighs. “Your name?”
“Noah Reyz.” Noah leans as far back in his chair as possible, trying to get the professor to move on.
“Okay then, Noah. I hope you work hard in this class, I expect great things from you.” Professor Mana smiles slightly and then points to another random person and they panic as they say they barely passed the test. Mana writes something down on a piece of paper she grabs from her desk and moves on.
Noah then uses one of his many magical skills to attempt to look at the paper that had words written on to it, sitting carefully on the desk of Professor Mana. As Noah uses his magical skill, Mana’s ears twitch, unknown to Noah himself, as he looks at the paper. ‘If you read this, meet me after class in room 349.’
Noah almost falls out of his chair. Was this meant for him or was it meant for someone else and the teacher was going to put it on their desk or something, either way, he was interested and he needed to find out for himself. He started to wonder where this room 349 was.
As the class goes on Professor Mana had at some point removed the note from her desk and put it in to her pocket. Was she planning on hitting on a student but changed her mind. Noah wasn’t the only person that the teacher had called handsome so it is possible that she just wanted to lead on a student.
Time passes by and the class ends. Noah watches the teacher quickly leave the classroom after finishing the first class. The class started with intense lessons on the first day, ‘I look forward to doing this class, it might be interesting as the only thing I have not done yet is become a scholar.’ Noah though to himself
Noah uses a magic spell to conceal himself as he enters the classroom with the number 349. It was a small room that could maybe hold twenty people at most. The room was dark without a light, but Noah dared not make a single noise or turn on a light. Noah then notices something in the corner of the classroom.
It was Professor Mana, staring directly at him. He silently moves to another location, but her gaze follows him. Worried, Noah tries to silently leave the classroom as silently as he entered, he didn’t get a good feeling from this room, so he thought that he should leave as soon as possible.
“Wait!” Mana shouts to me as she turns on the lights in the room. “I want to talk to you Noah.”
“I see…” Noah removes the spell he was using to conceal himself and staying calm, he closes the door of the classroom. “What would you like to talk about Professor Mana? I paid attention in class, so I was just wondering, why I was called here?”
“Ah… um… You see…” Mana mumbles as she talks. “You are a very good student…” in her head she was panicking. Realizing that wasn’t what she wanted to say, she tries again. “I would like you to teach me magic!” Mana lowers her head.
“Magic?” Noah feigns ignorance. “What do you mean magic? I’ve never heard of such a-”
“You were using it in class and when you came in here. My old magic teacher has passed away and I was beginning to lose hope! But during the entrance exam I saw you exuding a magical pressure which even my teacher didn’t have.” Mana keeps her head lowered, her voice sounding sincere.
“I’m honored you think so highly of me.” Noah smiles awkwardly, then he looks down, “I truly do not know the magic you speak of.”
“But!” She looks up at Noah with sad eyes.
“I had no idea this world even had magic.” Noah looks out the window of the classroom and sighs, “To be more accurate. I have no idea what the magic you know is. You may see me as some great magician, and for all I know I very well may be such an existence…” Noah looks at Mana, “Do you really have such little pride that you would go so far to beg someone who has a little bit of magic power to be your teacher even though they are younger than you?”
“Pride? Who needs such a thing?” She looks at Noah with bright eyes and moves closer, “So will you teach me?”
“Have you even been listening to me?” Noah shakes his head, “I have not said I will teach you. Will you just beg anyone like this? How many people have you begged like this?”
“Everyone I have met that was as strong as my teacher!” Mana shouts with a smile.
“Have you no pride as a human?” Noah stares at her with dead eyes. “I refuse to teach you. Even if I did, you wouldn’t even be capable, plus I want to keep a low profile until I at least graduate. The only thing I haven’t done is become a scholar.”
“You… aim to be a scholar?” Mana smiles, “I can pass you immediately if you wish!”
“Resorting to bribery!? Is this even ethical at this point!?” Noah sighs and walks towards the door of the classroom, looking over his shoulder at Mana, “If you want to become my student, you must profess your love for me in front of the class on seven different days! All of them in a row!” Noah thought to himself, ‘If I think of something this ridiculous, there is no way she will do it. I don’t even know if she can if she would like to keep her job.’ Noah left shortly after and went home to his one bedroom apartment.
This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.
It was a simple apartment with a kitchen and the bed in the same room. Oh, one bedroom apartment? It means only a single room for everything. Maybe 30m2… maybe. The room also had a desk, for both eating and Noah’s laptop. He happened to win a small amount of money from some sort of thing that shall not be discussed, for legal reasons.
Noah thought the best way to lay low was to live in the smallest apartment possible while paying the smallest amount possible. Maybe he ended up on some other list at the real estate agency after he asked for the smallest room possible, but that is another topic entirely.
Noah sits in front of his computer to play some games, completely forgetting about the issue of Mana.
Time passes and the next class begins as the professor walks in to the large classroom with nearly 100 students. She slowly walks to the front of the classroom with a wide smile on her face while looking directly at Noah. A small chill went up Noah’s spine as he met her gaze. All he could feel was a bad future for himself?
Choice! This was the word that popped in to his mind. Does he, A:
Run like a little girl and cry until he leaves the room, making whatever Mana was going to say seem like a lie. Or, B:
Face it head on like a real man and acce-
“I am in love with Noah Reyz!” Professor Mana shouted in front of the class. “I don’t expect a response and now class will begin like normal!” Professor Mana plays this off without even having half a blush on her face. With a smile, she said it with a smile!
‘She didn’t even give me time to think! What a shameless woman!’ Noah thought to himself, then he suddenly smiles, ‘It might actually be fun to see what she can learn from me.’
Unbeknownst to the Scheming Noah, the whole class was staring blankly at the front of the classroom, having received a great shock. Even long after the class ended, many students still had blank expressions unsure of what to think in this situation. Some were crying at the injustice and others congratulated Noah, not noticing they never made it in to his eyes.
Another day goes by. Another confession in front of the class. No one payed it any mind this time and wondered why Noah had not accepted. However, all the students recognized it was not any of their business. So they paid attention to the lectures, went home and did their own things.
Seventh day comes and Mana confesses one more time with a large smile on her face, not even caring for the looks of pity she received from the students. Why does she still confess if the man himself is not interested? The injustice! Some of the students thought this, but went on their ways without minding it too much. It was almost like a morning greeting to the students at this point. Some students had complained to the dean, but the dean just shrugged it off, not paying it any mind.
Noah sighs as he walks towards room 349. He knows that mana will be there and he was contemplating whether or not he should really accept her as a student. Noah then realized he had absolutely nothing to lose. His family bonds meant nothing to him after having so many families, his life didn’t matter to him as he would just go to another timeline, eventually, he may end up here again to have some fun.
“Please accept me teacher!” As Noah walked in to the room he was greeted by the sight of a beauty kneeling on the floor with her forehead pressed to the ground.
“You look pathetic.” Noah stares at her with cold eyes. “Stand up.”
“So!” Mana raises her head, but stays seated on the ground. “Will you accept me?”
“Well…” Noah sighs as he looks at Mana. “This feels really strange, having an adult ask a young adult if they can teach them something. Did you not notice the painful looks the students were giving you? The looks they gave me?”
“I see…” Mana looks to the ground as she stands up. “I guess that’s fair. I was unreasonable and started begging you to teach me.” She starts to walk out of the room, opening the door. “I won’t fail you because of this, I will teach you properly, sorry for bothering you.” Mana turns to look at Noah and when he sees the look on her face something inside of him hurts.
Noah looks at the ground. He grabs his head and then groans. He points towards the door and mouths the word ‘stop’. A transparent barrier forms just in front of where Mana is walking and she walks straight in to it, not being able to see it.
“Ow!” She falls to the ground with her nose twisted slightly in the wrong direction… Noah looked away while whistling, this wasn’t his fault he though in his head. “Ah! So you’re going to teach me after all!” Mana crawls towards Noah while leaving an oddly gruesome trail of red behind her.
“First of all you’re bleeding way too much for just a regular broken nose! You aren’t an anime guy looking at something perverted!” Noah squints his eyes while looking at the dripping blood from her nose that was almost like a faucet that had been left on a little bit. “Heal it yourself first! If you can’t at least do that, how can you even dream to be my student?”
Mana quickly puts her hand to her face and sees all the blood. She jumps back slightly and heals her nose after saying a few words, probably to cast the magic. Noah feels a miniscule amount of magic power coming from her, but her nose is somehow healed and back in its proper, not sideways, location.
“Not bad… but there is still way too much blood all over you…” Noah sighs as he waives his hand, not saying a word, but the blood cleaning itself. This wasn’t magic, but another skill entirely. Not the time to explain that to her, he thought to himself.
Mana smiles as Noah helps her stand up. She had changed in to sweatpants and a loose t-shirt after class before Noah had made it there. She was also wearing running shoes. How much does she make as a professor, those are some damn fine shoes she has got on there, Noah was thinking.
“So.” Noah turns around and looks out the window. “What would you like to learn?”
“Everything!” Mana smiles widely.
“I could, but you wouldn’t live long enough unless I taught you something other than magic first, but I only agreed to teach you magic, so at least pick a topic.” Noah sighs folding his arms. “Also, please act your age at least a little bit.”
“Ah…” Mana gives Noah a wry smile and lowers her head. “I’m sorry, could we start with the barrier you used to break my nose?”
“We could, but oddly enough, barrier magic is an advanced rank magic and is practically useless as it will hinder a lot of other magic until barrier magic has been completely mastered. Which, by the way, could take up to a decade or two even if you are a genius which I am guessing…”
“I am not.” Mana’s head drops even further.
“I just realized something incredibly stupid. Your name is Mana, and you need mana for magic…” Noah looks out the window at a cloud in the sky shaped like… well, a cloud. “Whatever, you know healing magic, that’s not bad even if it was only a low level spell.” Noah sighs, “Even you mana capacity is painfully small. How did you even become a mage?”
“Uh… my name came from my parents who told me about magic when I was ten years old, and then I started to practice it from ten years of age and was called a prodigy in healing magic…” Mana looks at Noah with a frown, “The magic I used was a high level magic spell that even my old teacher couldn’t use…”
“Oh, I see. I thought too highly of the magic from this world.” Noah makes a complicated expression as he finally turns back to see Mana now standing right behind him. He takes a slow step back. “First of all too close. I prefer to keep a respectable distance between other people. Next thing, I am seriously contemplating teaching you my magic, as first of all, I would have to train you on how to actually gather mana as the amount you have is barely enough to cast a low level magic within the system I use.”
“Oh…” Mana looks down. “I guess I was too hasty then. It is a known fact that it is impossible to raise mana capacity after you reach thirty years old. I am sorry for wasting your time.” Mana goes to walk away but I grab her shoulders and force her to sit on the ground.
“This banter is what is wasting my time.” Noah sighs and then sees someone at the door. At this moment he realizes something. He is holding the professor by her shoulders while she sits on her knees and from the door… let’s just say it doesn’t look very PG.
“I’m sorry for interrupting!” The person runs away before he can explain and Noah just sighs. It might almost be better with a misunderstanding like this.
“Anyhow. I refuse to accept one thing about what you said. I will give you ten points if you get it right. These points are valuable, and once you collect a hundred of them, you get a prize!” Noah says this in a joking tone, but he wonders if she will even guess right.
“Is it that I said impossible? If it is… so you have a method!? You could revolutionize magic forever if that is the case!” Mana’s eyes brighten. Noah was surprised that she guessed it right.
“Right guess, wrong path after a bit there though. I don’t plan on revolutionizing anything.” Noah moves back to the window. “I am tired of hearing things are ‘impossible’ though. I have lived for much… much longer than you could even fathom. I have lived longer than even this planet itself I am willing to bet. I have lost my sanity, regained it and lost it again many times.”
“Oh…” Mana’s face becomes complicated as she looks at the back of Noah.
“What’s ‘Oh’ about it? Can’t you just accept it and move on?” Noah turns to face Mana with a straight face. “My goal is only to live the way I want, how I want. I have a student. Yay for me, oh no, they died before me. So what?”
“You mean. You’ll teach me and only me the method to increase my mana capacity after thirty years old?” Mana stands up and wipes her eyes that had gathered tears at some point. “What happens if I share it around?”
“I don’t care.” Noah shrugs his shoulders and puts his hands on his head. “You could chare it around online for all I care. It isn’t even all that hard to do, you just need a bit of talent.” Noah shrugged his shoulders as he stared at Mana, “So are you going to continue wasting my time or am I going to teach you something?”
“I’ll learn!” mana immediately responds, fearing that Noah might actually just leave. “I’m sorry for wasting your time I just wanted to know if there was any limits to what you were going to teach me and how devoted you were to secrecy within the…” Mana suddenly stops speaking.
Noah tilts his head as he looks at Mana who had stopped so much to the point where she even stopped breathing. He walks towards her and waves his hand in front of her face. “Anyone home?” he says as he continues to wave his hand in front of her.
“You… you said you were older than the planet… that... t-t-that means!” mana stumbles over her words. “God!?” Noah hurriedly waves his arms, making a big ‘x’ with his arms.
“I don’t know why you suddenly thought of that, and why did you even trust what I said!?” Noah tries to explain but it seems like Mana was no longer listening.
“Can you make me live forever!?” Mana’s eyes brighten up.
“Well… I can make you live for a long time… Forever is too long.” Noah scratches his head.
“Can you destroy the planet if you wanted to!?”
“Not really… probably not… maybe… possibly…” Noah looked away, not sure why he was playing along with this ruse. If she was even intentionally doing this.
“God! You have to be a god!” Mana jumps back and then holds her head, “Oh no! I just offended a god! My life is over… but it was already over when…”
Noah walks over to her grabs her shoulders and forces her to stand straight up and looks her straight in the eyes. He then raises his right hand and gives her a firm slap. “Get a hold of yourself. Are you going to learn or not?”
“I’m sorry. I will learn.” Mana takes a deep breath and her expression calms down. “Please teach me the method of increasing my mana capacity.”
“Okay.” Noah sighs as he once again takes his distance from Mana. “This method is simple, but in order to fine tune it, I need to know your exact age. Down to the day.”
“Thirty-one, two months, and fifteen days.” Mana responds after thinking for a short amount of time. “That should be my exact age.”
“Should be okay even if we are off by a day or two.” Noah smiles. “Quick question for you before we start. You are thirty one years old…”
“Yes?” mana tilts her head with a smile on her face, clearly very excited that she is about to learn something that will change her life.
“Why can’t you act your god damn age!?” Noah yells at her with a frown, “I mean come on. I get that you are excited and all but seriously, no one will ever fall in love with you if you always act like a teenager that’s had one too many cups of coffee.”
“You really know where to hit someone to make it hurt.” Mana holds her chest as she smiles, her face not even showing a hint of anger. Noah smiles at seeing this. Maybe he should teach her more than magic.
“Fine, we will start now. The method is simple. Just close your eyes and please do not resist my mana with yours. Not that it will make much of a difference as I can just overpower it, but it will make your life easier if you do not resist.”
Mana listens to what Noah says and closes her eyes without a care for the world around her. Noah first seals off the room from the outside world so that he will not be disturbed. He just simply closed and locked the door.
Noah then puts his right hand on the top of Mana’s blonde hair. Her hair was oddly soft, but Noah didn’t pay too much attention to it. He closes his eyes and calms himself with a single breath, clearing his mind. He gathered his mana and a little something special relating to his martial strength and started to focus on moving it out of his body.
Noah moves the energy through his body and carefully moves it through Mana’s body. Noah didn’t feel a single bit of resistance from Mana which surprised him slightly as he was expecting her to not trust him, but the girl had trusted him completely. Did she have good intuition, or was she just an idiot?
Time passes and Noah creates pathways using his mana and martial strength within Mana’s body. Why martial strength? Noah had figured out that mana was more easily gather when training alongside some form of martial strength, whether he will teach the method to Mana or not, he doesn’t know, but he was preparing for if he wanted to teach her.
Now that he thinks about it. Mana will be his first student. He has never even taught anyone properly before. He had had people who he trained alongside that he gave pointers to and he received pointers from, as he wasn’t always the strongest in every timeline, but later timelines, the more abilities he gained, the more powerful he became.
Noah quickly finished what he was doing and created many different pathways within Mana’s body for mana and martial strength. Another thought suddenly popped in to Noah’s head. Mana has mana and her body has mana pathways. She should change her name.
“I’m done.” Noah removes his hand from Mana’s head. “I’m surprised there was absolutely no resistance at all while I was create those pathways. Sometimes it’s incredibly painful if your talent is too low.”
“Ha…” Mana opens her eyes and they are slightly red and watery. Noah laughs as he realizes she must have been in a lot of pain, maybe he should have spread it out over a longer period of time. “I’m fine. It was only slightly painful.”
“Good. Now that’s it.” Noah dusts off his hands and walks towards the door of the classroom they were in.
“Wait!” Mana reaches out her hand, “That’s it? No telling me what to do, no teaching me new things.”
“No,” Noah smiles “being my student, you should figure it out pretty quickly. Oh, be careful when using any spells, they will be a couple hundred times more powerful than they were before, nothing big.”
“Hu… Hundreds?” Mana sits on the ground with an audible thud and Noah leaves the classroom with a smile on his face.
Noah thinks to himself for a bit. Even though he himself wants to lay low in this world, could he not get a student to throw themselves out there in order to see what happens? Noah wonders what the world would think of a woman more powerful than any person they could ever imagine.
Noah walks through the school, thinking of the things he could teach to Mana. How does one teach someone magic? How does one teach someone to use martial energies? How does one teach another person how to tame monsters, summon monsters, or become a monster? How?
Noah sighs as he leaves the brick building covered in vines. He walked down the newly paved roads, the freshly cleaned sidewalks. He climbs a few flights of stairs and looks out a window when he reaches his room. The sun was setting. He sighs as he walks to the bathroom to wash his face. The hot weather had made him sweaty on his walk home.
He looks in the mirror at his pale white skin, his brown hair that was roughly an inch long, his green eyes. He grabbed his razor and shaved away the stubble that had grown in just a single day. He cleans his face after shaving and walks towards the closet and grabs a change of clothes, changing in to sleepwear.
“Well. Tomorrow will be fun. I wonder if Mana will be okay. I gave her some martial energy as well. Thinking about it, was that even a good idea? I mean her strength will increase as she uses mana with the way I set up the mana pathways in her body.” Noah smiles as he stares at his ceiling, laying on the foam mattress that he had pulled from the bottom of the couch.
“Tomorrow. Eh?” Noah closes his eyes and breathes deeply, thinking about the past few days. “Mana… hm. She’s a good kid. I wonder if she will have the talent I want. Oh well, if not, I can just give it to her. Not like I need to worry about those silly things that normal people call impossible.”
“Shut up in there!” My wall was hit and an angry voice floats through the wall. It was an angry guy. Are the walls really that thin? Noah thought.
Noah sighs and clears his mind, ready to sleep, so he can tackle the next day with his head held high.
Poor Mana, not knowing that her strength had increased, tore the front door of the school building off, and then when she tried to run away, she almost ran directly in to the wall surrounding the school, as she ran much faster than expecting. In her mind she wanted to blame someone, but she could only be thankful towards Noah who had given her hope.
Noah, was of course, oblivious to all this and had already started to snore in his sleep.
