Chapter 3: Breaking Out

As I finally opened my eyes, a stifling feeling in my chest emerged. I couldn’t tell right away what was wrong since my senses were still dulled. ‘I sure have been laying here for a while I guess…’ I did not know how much time passed, but that was not really my first concern at the moment.
As I got a little lightheaded, I realized, ‘I need air!’ It felt near impossible to move, and it felt like I was trying to breathe underwater. Of course I’m not actually underwater, at least I did not believe that to be the case. Control gradually returned to my body over the next few minutes, resulting in the ability to take in a small breath. As the air started circulating throughout me, my body instantly felt rejuvenated. First my fingers twitched, then my hands moved slightly. My entire body started feeling very tingly and uncomfortable like when your foot “falls asleep”.
After a few minutes of slight movements and shallow breaths, I started trying to struggle to shift my whole body. I got one arm to move to a position to push up so I could sit up. Although I felt extremely weak and had little to no energy in me, I somehow was able to muster strength into it. But since I was still weak, all I could do was push myself to the side a little bit. Let alone getting out of this thing I am trapped in, I do not think I could even touch anywhere but the bottom where I lay.
‘Am I just going to lie here until I die again??’ I thought to myself. ‘I can’t really seem to do anything… I got a chance to live again, but I can’t even make it out of the starting point. How…?’ I let my thoughts wander as I lay there.
As I mused over my predicament, a small light began to shine faintly next to my head. It was not too bright, so my eyes adjusted fairly quickly before I studied my surroundings. I saw some intricate designs on the container I was lying in. I paid it no mind before turning my head to the side to see what the source of light was.

Next to my head there was… a really small girl, about three inches, curled up and seemingly sleeping without any clothes. A pair of sleek wings lay tucked into her backside. As the light was weak, you could almost see everything she had to offer. My thoughts raced in my head, and somewhere deep inside myself a voice kept telling me to touch her.
Now, I had considered myself a gentleman back when I was alive. I would never lay my hands on a sleeping girl, not to mention this type of four inch tall one. But as the voice in my head grew, warping its desire into reality, I found the energy to move my arm up.
Just as I was about to touch, I saw her eyes slowly open. ‘SHIT!’ I screamed in my head. ‘STOP!’ I willed myself to stop, but I couldn’t control my hand. Her eyes grew wide at the incoming hand before she screamed “NOOOOOO!” and a loud explosion blew a large hole in the top of the coffin. And I lost consciousness again.
Once the dust settled and the girl realized what had happened, she started crying, “Oh no! Don’t die again! Please!” Amidst her sobs, she came flying down and tried digging through the rubble, but her tiny body could not pick anything up. “I wasted so much power on reviving such a good seed. Please! Don’t die!”
Realization dawning on her wet face she muttered, “Why am I trying to do this manually…” before stepping back a bit.
“[Levitate]” the fairy-being said, and a wondrous sight occurred. A few rocks started flying out as if directed by a certain force. The man's face was revealed, and a large cut on his head strangely had no blood coming out. The girl’s face paled before she muttered “[Cancel]”, and the rocks dropped a few feet away. Flying down to the faintly breathing man, she sighed as she landed next to his face. “Damn that scared me. He’s alive, but I don’t think he will last.” She sat on a small pebble nearby and watched him.
She looked down at her hands before sighing again, “I used too much power now…” Her face flushed as she continued, “Who asked him to be such a pervert!” She paused before continuing, “This world doesn’t have any mana. Looks like I’ll have to guide him a bit.” She looked back at him, contemplating in her head. “Fine, I have no choice now. [Sacrificial Body].” She then pointed at herself, before pointing at the man. After 2 seconds she disappeared. A few seconds later the man’s eyes opened.
The man, currently being controlled by the fairy, pushed away the remaining rocks before standing up a little unsteadily. “Let’s go find someplace else…” a slightly feminine voice came from his mouth. “Someone might have heard something just now.” After familiarizing herself with the man’s body a bit, she stepped over the rocks to the stone door and pushed it open and walked out.
