Chapter 3
Adapting to the Boiling Isles
My time at the Black Tower. Well at first it sucked. But I know I can't speak for everyone but I don't regret my time there. I've gotten friends, family and a path in life. Hopefully my kids don't cause too much trouble for the Boiling Isles and the Human Realm. I feel that a great change is coming to the BI. What that change is… it's a secret.
Excerpt from Willow Park before the battle of Hexside
Park residence
Willow and Hunter were peacefully sleeping after returning from the Black Tower. Soon the sun rises in the Boiling Isles and its light shines on Willow. She wakes up and begrudgingly opens her eyes. She gets up showing that she is naked as the day she is born.
"Ugh morning sucks." Willow said as she puts on her glasses.
Hunter gets up as he yawns. He was also naked.
As they get up he couldn't help but admire his wife and smiles at her beauty.
"Huh I think I understand why Humans use multiples C's on the word thick." Hunter said as his eyes wanders at his wife's curves.
Willow give her husband a playful grin.
"Oh you." Willow said as she chuckles and starts to get dressed.
"Am I wrong?" Hunter said with a raised eyebrow.
"Fair enough salang." Willow said as she kisses Hunter.
After getting dressed they went downstairs where they see Gilbert, Harvey and the kids waiting for breakfast.
"Eomma, appa joh-eun achim-ieyo." Poppy said as she waved.
"Mom, dad morning." Caleb said with a smile.
"Mother, Father good morning." Rosetta said.
"Willow, Hunter morning we have scrambled Griffin eggs and demon sausages." Gilbert said as he cooks.
Harvey is reading a newspaper and sees Willow and Hunter.
"Oh good morning you two. How did you two slept?" Harvey asked.
"We slept great Papa. Is there any Tea ready?" Willow asked.
"Yeah we did. Hunter do you drink Coffee?" Harvey asked.
"Yup thank you Father-in-Law." Hunter said as he accepts a cup of coffee.
"Oh call me Harvey. By the way when will you marry Willow?" Harvey said.
"PAPA WE'RE ALREADY MARRIED!" Willow shouted.
"We could go to the government office to marry next week and next month we'll marry in the Church of the Titan." Hunter said.
"Oh Hunter." Willow said as she facepalms.
The kids chuckled at this.
"Ok everyone breakfast is ready." Gilbert said as he serves the food.
Soon after eating breakfast. Hunter told them that his Uncle expected him to work as the Golden Guard mostly to keep an eye on the city as they prepare for the festival.
In reality he didn't want to work but he needed to time to prepare for the inevitable rebellion. Both he and Willow knew he needed to fool Belos. For now at least.
"Stay safe Honey." Willow said.
"Hey it's me." Hunter said.
"That's exactly why I'm asking." Willow said with a smile knowing Hunter well.
"Fair enough. Kids I have to go to work. Behave for your Eomma got it." Hunter said with a shrug.
The kids nod at this.
"Caleb don't scare your grandpas with your Direwolves. Poppy don't use the black horn much. Rosetta make sure these two don't get into trouble and NO summoning your Eidolons got it. I love you three." Hunter said as he kisses the foreheads of the kids.
"Hey what about me." Willow said as she places her hands on her hips.
"Always my Precious Tree." Hunter said as he kisses Willow and leaves for work.
Willow gives a slight smile as Hunter leaves for his job.
Harvey decides to speak.
"Ah Willow I got to ask what are Direwolves?" Harvey nervously asked.
Willow looks at Caleb. Then Willow nods.
Caleb takes out a whistle. He then blows it.
Soon the Park home was filled with the giggles of children and the screams of old men.
Blight residence
Amity wakes up feeling cold.
"I miss you Luz." Amity said as she decides to get dressed.
But she notices that none of the clothes she has fits her anymore.
She goes to her parent's room and manages to find some clothes.
This time she is dressed in a white shirt, blue pants and black shoes.
Amity scowls at this knowing these are Odalia's old clothes.
But she sighs knowing that these are the only clothes that can fit her.
"Damn it." Amity said.
She then goes downstairs to see not only her but her father being carried by a golem.
Alador sees Amity and speaks.
Amity help this thing is kidnapping me! Alador shouted.
"Sorry dad but that Golem was made to make sure Manny eats and sleeps. Though from what I can see I didn't specify on who but rather if they take too much time working rather than taking care of themselves." Amity said.
Alador pouts at this.
"That includes you Amity if I recall Archmage Noceda modified me to take care you because of the Abomitoy incident." The Golem said.
"Golrick we agreed to never speak of it again." Amity said with a full blown blush.
The now named Golrick laughs as he sits both Manny and Alador down on their chairs.
Manny pouts as Amity taps his shoulder and hold outs her hand.
Manny gives her a Key and Amity puts it in her pocket.
"Alright then what's for breakfast?" Amity asked.
"Oh Edric usually cooks." Alador said.
Amity sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose.
"Ok then Golrick stay here while I get Azura." Amity said.
"Yes Miss Noceda." Golrick said.
"Ok mama." Manny said.
It was then Alador notice her clothes.
"Um Amity why are you wearing Delphon's clothes?" Alador asked.
"There the only ones that fit me." Amity said.
"Ah ok then." Alador said.
Amity walks up towards the guess rooms where she hears her daughter giggles.
"Azura Mija estas despierta?" Amity asked as she opens the door.
When she did she sees Azura, Edric and Emira reading a Good Witch Azura book.
"Mama esta bruja tiene mi nombre." Azura said.
"That's right Mija. Your Mami and I wanted to name a girl after her." Amity said with smile.
"And that girl is me right." Azura said with a bright smile.
"Ok that's so cute." Emira said.
"Yeah. Oh I should get breakfast started." Edric said as he goes downstairs.
Emira nods as she follows her brother.
"I'll go help." Emira said
"You're only making the coffee Emira." Edric said as the both of them leave.
"Ok Azura let's get you dressed alright." Amity said as Azura nods.
"As Amity dressed Azura." She hears a cackle.
Amity groans and Azura's eyes light up.
"Hello Blighty-Lighty." The voice said.

"Bufón you're awake." Azura said.
Amity groans again as coming out of her daughter's shadow was a ghostly shadow with a black body, a white mask like face with a smile, a heart in place of an eye, two arms with white gloves and a purple Jester hat with bells on it.
This was her daughter's Curse/Familiar Bufón.
"Bufón I see you're awake." Amity said as she crosses her arms.
"Glad to see you too Blighty-Lighty." Bufón said with a chuckle.
"Bufón were at the Boiling Isles." Azura said.
Bufón's eyes widen at Azura's words.
"I see and in fact I can feel the ambient magic of this place. So pure and powerful. I must admit when I heard of your home for the first time I didn't really believe it but as the old saying goes. Seeing is believing." Bufón said with a smile.
"Indeed Azura is getting hungry now so I should get her breakfast." Amity said.
"Of course Blighty-Lighty keep Azura fed and comfortable after all if she dies, I die." Bufón said as he disappears into Azura's shadow as he laughs.
Amity rolls her eyes at Azura's Familiar. She knew that Bufón. The Shadow Jester. Always place Azura's wellbeing in mind.
Whether it being her eating habits to defending her from bandits, monsters and the like.
She thought that he was unstable but if he made Azura happy then that's enough for her and Luz.
"Vamos Azura its time for breakfast." Amity said as Azura nods.
The both of them went down for breakfast.
Amity wonders how this day will go.
"But first some breakfast for me and my little good witch." Amity said with a smile.
With Gus
Gus is in Bonesborough looking around the market where he see the preparations for the Returning Festival.
At least that what their calling it for now they're still workshopping the name. Normally he would spend time with his Dad but he got called into work. With nothing to do he went to the city center to look around.
As he looks around he sees many people getting along with the BI residents.
He sees a few Yeti's getting spooked by skin fairies. Dwarves are working on a few stands.
A few Elves were trying BI food and liking the taste.
Gus chuckled at the sight of it. He decides to go into the potion shop to window shop.
Upon entering he sees the infamous Owl Lady along with a little furry guy.
The furry guy look like a young, bipedal demon with a small stature. He has slightly purplish dark gray fur, save for his stomach and the tip of his tail, which are mauve in color. He has short limbs, a round body and stomach, and a bushy, foxlike tail. Each of his hands possess two triangular, bone-like claws with flat inner sides, acting as his fingers, as well as short, pointed thumbs. His feet are somewhat stumpy and have mauve metatarsal pads, with two more claws on the front of either foot acting as his toes.
He also has large, protruding eyes with orchid irises and yellow sclerae, as well as black, yellow-rimmed eyelids. He has slightly longer and shaggier fur around his cheeks, neck and nape. His inner mouth is light purple, with a long, darker purple tongue, as well as two lower canine teeth, which are the only visible teeth inside his mouth.
The little guy's upper head past his lower jaw and neck regions is a horned skull, his own being canine-esque, which is embedded over his eyes and eyelids, also acting as his upper jaw. His horns are tall and point backward, curving slightly inward, the left of which is broken off near the base in a notch shape. The muzzle of his skull has two large, outward-pointing canine teeth, and he has two molars on either side near the base of it. He has an upside-down triangle-shaped nasal cavity covered by a pointed upper nasal bone, giving the hole a pointed, heart-shaped appearance when viewed head on.
"Hey Morton! I need some Elixir." The Owl Lady said.
"Hold on Eda I got it." Morton said as he carries a bunch of bottles filled with an amber liquid.
The Owl Lady now named Eda pays the man.
"Thanks as always Morton. So got anything new about our new residents?" Eda asked.
Gus raised an eyebrow at this.
"Not much but one of them gave me this. He said that it was a powerful potion ingredient." Morton said as he shows Eda a glass bottle with a white shining liquid.
Eda raises an eyebrow as the furry guy comments on how shiny it is.
Gus on the other hand had wide eyes and was getting angry. He then decides to walk up to Morton and slams his hand on the counter.
This spooks Eda, the furry guy and Morton.
"Excuse me but can I ask where you got that?" Gus asked.
"Like I said to Eda someone gave it to me. Though I think they wanted to get rid of it." Morton said.
"I see. The guy who gave it to you what did they look like?" Gus asked.
"Um it was a guy, he looked like those elf guys but with darker skin, a golden eye with the other one with an eyepatch dressed all fancy like. Titan he even paid me just for me to take it off his hands." Morton said.
Eda put it together at Morton's explanation. She frowns.
"Kid I think you got scammed. I'm pretty sure you just got your hands on some illegal shit from the Black Tower." Eda said as Morton's eyes widen.
"Oh you have no fucking idea Owl Lady. If Hunter or Titan forbid Willow saw you with that. Well let's just say that you'd be wishing for a quick death." Gus said as Morton gulps.
Morton looks at the bottle and then back at Gus.
"What is this?" Morton asked.
"It is known as Draught of a Neverborn Soul, and to get them is well…" Gus said as he explained on how to create it.
To say the three of them were horrified by this was an understatement.
Morton began to cry and begged Gus to call the Coven guards.
Gus comforted Morton. Telling him that he is blameless.
Eda did the same.
The furry guy had other words.
"Dude that is fucked beyond belief." The Furry guy said.
"That's an understatement if I ever heard one King." Eda said as she snorts.
The now named King still shivered at this.
Soon Gus called the Coven Guards specifically Hunter to let him know.
When he came he was pissed. He looked ready to kill but he stayed calm. Morton, Eda, King and Gus gave their testimonies as Hunter nods.
"Thank you for your corporation. You'll be compensated for your information." Hunter said as he gives Eda, King and Morton gold coins.
For Gus he gave some berries. While Gus gave him the draught.
Both men nodded as Hunter went to the Coven guards. With a twirl of his guard staff he shows an illusion of the Dark Elf that gave Morton the Draught.
"Find him before my wife does I want him before the emperor before the nightfall." Hunter ordered.
"Um what about the Owl Lady?" A Coven Guard asked.
"Leave her be their will be another opportunity to catch her." Hunter said as the guards saluted.
The guards ran trying to find him.
"Thank you once again. I'll be taking my leave. Gus I'll see you tonight then." Hunter said.
"Yeah see you man." Gus said.
Hunter leaves and Eda sighs in relief and she and King take their leave as well.
Morton was thankful that Hunter didn't blame him.
Gus decides to leave and goes back home to cool off. Titan he wishes he could contact his therapist Sasha Waybright. But now he wants to relax.
Soon he arrives home and picks up a book and uses his MP3 to listen to some music.
He relaxes as he lets the music calms him down.
Now he waits for the festival.
"What a way to start a day." Gus said to himself.
Later that night
Night has fallen at the Boiling Isles where everyone is now celebrating the return of those that are lost. Yesterday was for mourning. Tonight it is meant to celebrate the good times to come.
The Dwarves brought out beer to drink, the Elves brought out their desserts and other food to eat and the Yetis told stories of the strongest parties that walked upon their world.
The Witches and Demons of the BI were liking the drinks and food. There were some shop showing off products from the Black Tower. Mostly potions, snacks and oddly enough weapons.
We find Willow and the kids were looking around the shops. They are trying to find Hunter.
"Ok then if I was Hunter where would I be. Ah there you are." Willow said as she sees Hunter drinks a glass of Alcoholic Apple Blood.
Willow was worried as she sees her husband drink with a familiar look on his face.
"Hunter are you ok?" Willow asked.
Hunter turns to see his wife and children.
"Willow when did you get here?" Hunter said.
"A few minutes ago sweetie." Willow said.
"Ah I see kids. Did you behaved for your mother and grandfathers?" Hunter said.
"Yeah though Caleb scared our grandpas with his puppies." Poppy said as she refers to the Direwolves.
"Poppy you tattletale!" Caleb shouted as Poppy stuck out her tongue.
"Willow what happen?" Hunter said wanting to know what happened.
"Well Papa asked. What's a Direwolf was and I gave him permission to summon his Direwolves. You can figure out the rest." Willow said.
Hunter sighs at this as he pinches the bridge of his nose.
"Caleb despite having Mama's Permission. You'll be spending 10 minutes in the time out corner tomorrow. For scaring your grandfathers." Hunter said.
"Geulae appa." Caleb sadly said.
Poppy looked a bit happy.
"Poppy don't provoke your brother again otherwise you'll be in the time out corner as well." Hunter said to his youngest.
"Geulae appa." Said a sadden Poppy.
"Ok with that taken care of why don't we enjoy the festival." Hunter said as he gave them some Snails.
This made the kids confused for a bit before Willow told them that those were Snails AKA Boiling Isle money.
"Oh right thank you eomma." Caleb said.
"I saw some games we could play over there Caleb." Rosetta said.
The twins took Poppy with them to play the games. While Hunter and Willow stayed behind.
"Hunter what happened?" Willow asked in a serious tone.
"Someone smuggled that fucking Draught into the Isles." Hunter said as Willow gasped.
"On your first day back I can't believe it." Willow said.
"I can." Said Amity as she walked towards them.
"I see that Gus told you about today." Hunter said.
"Yeah kind of hard not to. I mean fuck hopefully no one figures out on how to make more of it." Amity said.
"Where's Manny and Azura?" Willow asked.
"With Gus playing games." Amity said,
"Yeah Caleb and Rosetta took Poppy to do the same." Hunter said.
"Hunter did you tell the Coven Heads about it?" Willow asked.
"Yeah I did they wanted to know why I let the Owl Lady go and after I did they didn't blame me at all." Hunter said.
When he did told them about the Draught of a Neverborn soul is, what it did it had initially impressed them but when he explained how to get it. The Coven Heads were disgusted about it. Especially the Healing, Potion and oddly enough the Bard Covens.
Mx. Whispers was very vocal about it and almost demanded that they go after the guy who smuggled it in and to petrify him.
Thankfully their temper was reined in by Hunter saying that Willow would give him a faith worse than death.
"Anyway we should start having fun." Willow as they hear loud bellowing laughter.
The parent rush to where the Laughter is heard where they see the Eda laughing her ass off as Azura was hold multiple plushies.
Azura gave a plushie to King.
The Plushie in question is a beige bunny plush with a black bead for its right eye and a light blue button for its left eye. The plush has two lop ears, an X for its mouth, and a small white pom for a tail.
"I thank Good Witch Azura I shall name him Francois and he will be my second in command for my ascension and conquest of the Boiling Isles. Once I get my full power back of course." King said as Azura chuckles.
"I await you ascension my lord." Azura said as Amity walks up to them.
"Azura what happened?" Amity said.
"I'll tell you what happened she used her Familiar and won all of these prizes." Eda said with a grin.
"This is for you Mama." Azura said as she gives an Azura the Good Witch Plushie.
"You thank you Azura. I assume that the third one is for Mami right?" Amity said as Azura nods.
"Yeah it is." Azura said.
Amity smiled as she decides to takes out a device and takes a picture with her.

Amity chuckled as the both of them walk around. Not knowing that Odalia looked at them with disgust.
With Odalia
To think she would create not one but Two Hybrids with a human of all things.
"Disgusting I hope she and the boy die during the Day of Unity." Odalia said as she looks around seeing the new people.
She thought of new opportunities to get more money.
Thankfully her Family the Delphons would help her.
For now she would leave them be.
With the Hexsquad
We find Amity, Willow, Hunter, Gus, Eda, the kids and the Parks and Porters talking about their time in the Black Tower.
"So let me get this straight the Leader of the Unifiers of the Homeland believed that Willow was Korean?" Perry said.
"Well they said I looked Korean and it didn't help that my Surname is Park." Willow said.
"Why is that?" Harvey asked.
"Turns out Park is a common Korean Surname. Once they realized I wasn't Korean they apologized. I didn't mind as I got to learn a new language." Willow with a shrug.
They talk about other things but soon it was getting late into the night soon everyone went home. Putting the kids to rest.
All is well in the Boiling Isles.
Meanwhile with Almison
Almison was working on how to 'Improve' the Coven Sigils knowing that he actively sabotaging Belos.
"Ok with this I've 'improved' Belos's Coven Sigils. I hope Hunter and the others can stop this monster." Almison said.
Almison as he pulls out a pendent with a symbol of an orchid on it.
"For you my daughter I will stop Belos and any of his ilk." Almison said.
With this he continues his 'work'.

The only child of Harvey and Gilbert Park she had lived a modest life until her friend broke ties with her and her parents pushed her towards the Abomination track of Magic. Despite her calling was towards the Plant Track of Magic. She thought her life would be of obscurity until the Black Tower took her and friend Gus Porter. It was there they met Luz Noceda, Masha and Vee. Soon during the 10 years Willow help found the Hexsquad, Embrace her true magic, rekindle her friendship with Amity Blight, give birth to her Twins Caleb and Rosetta Park, Marry Hunter, give birth to Poppy Park and help win the final battle for liberation.
