Finally, a minute later, the light dissipated and Adele opened her eyes a second later.

She looked at the prince in front of her. He had a surprised expression in his eyes, only his face seemed to be calm. This was his first time experiencing prophecy, and he was greatly scared. When Adele’s eyes shined, it was her bloodline helping her prophecy. At that moment, she gave off the strong energy of her pure bloodline.

Being an ancient bloodline, even if Frau Holle only existed in myths, her power manifested in everyone that inherited her bloodline. With the origin of a myth in the spiritual world, their bloodline would naturally be extremely strong. When the Holle family used their powers, they connected to the field created by the myths of Frau Holle in the spiritual world.

This is why so many ancient mythical beings weren’t revived, but their bloodline still came to be – their background is the spiritual world itself. Frau Holle is a prophetic myth, so the field dedicated to her is naturally the river of destiny. There are two most important rivers in the spiritual world, the River of Reincarnation and the River of Destiny, they are closely intertwined.

Even if Frau Holle’s field power isn’t strong, the fact that her background is the river of destiny itself gives everyone that inherited her bloodline an advantage over those that have a lesser background.

The Barbarossa bloodline is a special one, but it isn’t connected to any of the Anchors of the spiritual world. Besides the two rivers, there are only three more anchors. They are the two mountain peaks, the ‘Axiom Peak’ where all laws of the spiritual world converge, as well as the ‘Conflux Peak’ where all elemental power gathers. Finally, there is the ‘Void Sky’ that spreads all over the spiritual world and connects the numerous worlds.

So, when the River of Destiny’s power was called upon the world by the Holle bloodline, Barbarossa only felt extreme fear. This is why, after so many years, even though the Holle family never breached the top and is weak in strength, no one dared offend them. For outsiders, offending the Holle family is worse than offending the Barbarossa family.

So, what if you offend them? At most, you’ll have war. The ones that suffer aren’t them, it will always be the lower people. But if you offend the Holle family, then you won’t know when and how you died. It might be a passing thunderstorm that coincidentally killed everyone in their family. No matter how strong they are now, all elements have a deep relation to the Conflux peak and have become extremely strong with the spiritual world.

Adele took a deep breath as she looked at the prince and said “It seems the prince will soon marry.”

The prince was surprised, but he also lost some awe over this. “Is this all?”

Adele sneered “How can a prince’s marriage be decided just like that, out of nowhere? If the prince doesn’t know about this already, then this will obviously be a surprise. Prince, don’t underestimate the prophecy!

A royal marriage is always connected to politics. Regardless of who you marry, things will happen and it won’t be peaceful.” She truly felt disdain for him when he acted like it wasn’t much. Fifty years! Her soul age regressed by fifty years! And what she was is also true – she wasn’t sure who he would marry, but it would mean things were happening!

She didn’t think this prophecy would cost so much, which means that the marriage is definitely a bigger issue than they act it to be.

The prince seemed to wake up from this and looked embarrassed. Seeing how Adele was much weaker and nearly passed out, it was obvious that the price she paid must be higher than he thought. Since that’s the case, he has to take this serious and talk to his father about it.

Although he was of a higher status, he stood up and bowed to Adele, then to her grandpa and her mother. Only then did he say “I thank the Holle family for this gift! I will be sure to repay it generously! When the war starts, I will ensure that the Vicious Eye will be safe and sure and assist him in his endeavour!”

“I only how the prince can keep his promise and bring my uncle back safely.”

After this, Adele was truly weak and couldn’t move, so she fell into her mothers’ arms who came from the side. Isabel looked at the prince sternly but didn’t say anything and just carried her daughter away. She had also given prophecies.

Just looking at her family, sixteen generations of family heads have passed. Only the extremely talented would become family heads at one point, most of them are only two hundred years old at that point. As a strong family, it’s normal for a family head to have resources to live beyond a thousand years.

After all, it would become more and more difficult as you get more lifespan, but at the early stages, it is still somewhat easy. After all, if he had to ask for a favour before owing it every time, then won’t this mean the Holle family won’t prophecies occasionally for them?
