The town was a vibrant hub of activity, merchants peddling their wares, and the air filled with a symphony of sounds.
"Let's start with the groceries first."
Edith led the way to an area with a great number of stalls, these stalls contained things such as fruits or other ingredients.
"Hey mom."
"Yes?"
"Can I go look around while you're looking through the fruits?"
"Hmmmm, as long as you don't wander too far then."
"Alright, thanks!" I yell while walking away.
As I walked through the bustling streets, my senses were overwhelmed by the array of scents and sights. There were merchants shouting their wares, children running and laughing, and the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air. It was all so different from the solitude of our cottage.
I felt a mix of excitement as I approached a group of people gathered around a musician. He sat on a small stool, his fingers gracefully dancing across the keys of a wooden flute. The melodious notes he produced seemed to weave through the air, creating a serene atmosphere amidst the chaos of the town.
I stood there, mesmerized by the sound of the flute, the notes echoing in my mind like distant memories. It was as if the music held a connection to something I had left behind. Slowly, I approached the musician, drawn by the haunting beauty of his performance.
"Excuse me," I said tentatively.
The musician looked up, his fingers pausing on the flute. He smiled warmly at me, his eyes kind and welcoming.
"Ah, a newcomer. How can I help you?"
I sat down. The musician had dark skin, dark brown hair and green eyes. He had a small figure and wore some tacky clothes.
"Um, I noticed that you were playing that flute in your hands, I was wondering if there were other instruments other than that?"
"Why of course, there's the flute, the turk boomers, accordion, and finally the harp!"
"Wait. every instrument in existence?"
"Why yes they are."
"Then what about an electric guitar???"
"An elictryc- what now?"
"An electric guitar?? You know, the instrument that plays with metal strings and a strong base?"

Everything the musician had said so far did nothing but discourage me, he's probably right, but I don't want to believe his words, that wasn't the answer I was seeking for.
"Are you sure you're not referring to the harp?"
"No! It's an instrument that has an electrifying sound that'll make your bones shake!"
"What kind of devilish tool are you going on about???" The musician said alerted.
"You know what. Nevermind, sorry to bother you."
I stand up.
"Thank you for sharing," I muttered, forcing a tight smile, and without waiting for his response, I turned and walked back to the stall area, leaving the musician sitting down in confusion.
As I navigated through the town's narrow alleys, anger mingled with my disappointment. How could this world not have the music that had been my happiness, my refuge? The streets seemed to blur around me, my steps fueled by a fierce determination as I walked around, looking for Edith.
I spot Edith among the crowd and walk towards her.
"Hey Martis, you see everything you wanted to? I got everything we need so we should head back home now."
"Yeah, let's go already," I mumbled.
"What's wrong, Martis?"
"Hm? Nothing, just disappointed after hearing the music, let's just hurry back home."
We walk through the crowd and exit the wooden gates. There, Aldo was eating from a pile of hay while awaiting our return. We placed the groceries inside the wagon and set off for home.

We finally got back home after another 2 day trip. The trip back was quiet, the only thing on my mind was how this world had no instruments that were on par with modern music back in Japan. Thinking about it only got me more angry.
I help Edith unpack the groceries into the cottage.
"Hey mom, I'm going to head out for a bit!" I yell into the cottage.
"Ok, but don't wander off too far!" She yells back.
I leave the cottage and walk on a dirt path.
"This world has nothing that can even compare to modern music." I think to myself aloud.
I look up towards the sky.
"Why was I reincarnated here when there's nothing that can entertain me here, if anything, I'm better off permanently dead."
Why did I have to be in such a world, why couldn't I have been reborn in a world full of modern music?
"What a virtueless world..." I think to myself.
Suddenly, a thought flashed into my head.
"Wait... What if I bring modern music into this world??? Not only could I continue my music career, but I could also be known as the "Father of Rock" in this world!"
I already knew how to make every band instrument from my previous life, but that wasn't the problem. The biggest obstacle was the fact that there was nothing that would amplify the sound of the instruments. I knew how to make amps too, but because of how undeveloped civilization was in this world, there wasn't electricity to power the amps.
"Magic?" I thought to myself.
Recalling my memories, I remember seeing some people and other beings using magic or selling magical items or stones in the town.
"That could work..."
Since magic and magical things exist in this world, there is a high possibility that a spell or item that can amplify sound exists; just like fantasy games.
I smile to myself.
"Yes, this can work out. The first step is to find anything that can amplify sound in this world."
I walk back to the cottage with only one thing in mind.
"If anyone's going to do it, I'll be the one who brings modern music into this virtueless world."
I started laughing creepily aloud as I neared the cottage, thinking of how fun life is going to be from here on.
