'When I opened my eyes I found out that I was in a sea of water with no end to it with a giant moon in front of me'

'What surprised me was the fact I wasn't sinking the hard part was moving my body it wouldn't budge no matter how much I pushed myself it only resulted in intense pain'

'I went at that for 10 minutes into all of a sudden I heard a voice'

“Give up *cough* *cough*....no matter how much you try your body won't move we're stuck here forever”

'I turned my head around and saw a man with crimson hair a handsome face and red/blue eyes laying in his own blood'

“What do you mean forever?"

'The man sighed to himself then said'

“You died just like me we both ended up in purgatory because *cough* *cough* we didn't listen to the warning The Corpse Candle gave us”

“I died?!”

'After trying to remember what happened to me before my death I had a huge headache it wasn't getting me anywhere so i stopped'

“I....can't remember how I died or what happened to me”

'The man made a serious face then said'

“If you can't remember how you died or what happened before your death then you yourself must be blocking the memories out”

“I'm blocking them out? What could I have done to not want to remember”

'The man made an annoyed face then said'

“Hey genius why don't you tell me?”

'I have to punch this smug guy in the face while I'm here once anyways'

'No point stressing myself over it when I cannot do anything other than sit here I’ll have plenty of time later might as well ask a few questions'

“You mentioned The Corpse Candle what the hell is that?”

'The man looked at me like I'm some kinda idiot and said'

“What world do you come from if you don't even know something as simple as this?”

“Judging from the way you dress and look you sure as hell don't come from mine”

“What's the matter with how I look?”

'The man made an amused face then said'

“Well if looking like Frankenstein is normal in your world nothing”

'Compared to this guy anyone would look like a freak I couldn't be that bad'

“Well if you want me to explain that badly I’ll start from the beginning”

“The Corpse Candle is a small ball of light said to be an omen of imminent death of a close relative or yourself.”

“They were thought to trace the path to which a funeral would take place or where someone would died and the body of the deceased would travel on its way to being buried.”

“They mostly travel graveyards and swamps so it's rare to see one outside of any of those location”

“Basically they're messengers of death and if you do not listen to their warnings committing your sin you'll come to this place” (Note the MC was drunk most likely why he didn't notice them)

'Da*** if only I had my past memories I could piece thorougher what happened'

“Uh..i know you may not want to answer this but why do you have red horns on your head and who're you?”

'The man had a sad look on his face and said'

“I'm Aster Phoenix, a Cucubuth we're what you humans refer to when you picture the devil a bunch of greedy money hungry bas*** sinners”

'His face turned from sadness to hatred'

“Enough talk about me do you at least know what your name is?”

'I tried thinking about it hard into a voice said something to me'

'Don't forget! Never forget what you did to those people!'

'Pain went through my head into all of a sudden I blacked out'

'Images started flashing in my head fire houses people children voices it's all so loud'

“You monster how could you she was just a child!”

'The giant man turned towards the farmer and started inching closer and closer then said'

“I....don't care anymore”

'All of a sudden blood spread everywhere cracking sounds were made tears were shed'

'I screamed for it all to stop for it to go away'

“Wake up idiot what are you screaming about you big baby?”

'Tears were falling down my cheek but I had my resolve I don't know everything I did or the pain I caused to people but I have to make up for what I did while I was alive'

'The giant man then begun to speak'

“Anyways Aster do you have any idea on how we could escape?”

'Aster went deep in thought then said'

“Well we could....never mind”

'He was about to say something into he stopped all of a sudden'

“You were about to say something tell me what it was”

'The man made an annoyed face then said'

“I said forget it there's only a 10% chance of this working anyways”

“Just say it we got no other choice”

“Fine it's your death wish don't put the blame on me if you try it and get erased from existence"

'The Red Haired Demon started telling the giant a story'

“His true form was said to be a hideous monster with sea grass all over his body and growing yellow eyes Nøkken skin was said to be like that of a drowned man who has been long underwater.”

'I then chose to voice a question'

“That's good and all but what does any of this have to do with escaping this place?”

'Aster sighed then said'

“If you would let me finish he was said to be the only one to escape this place”

“Through the power of Possession you see his kind can easily attract other beings to themselves therefore most humanoid beings foolish Follow the Nøkken into his lake for love or promises of rewards”

“When they do go into the lake he reveals his true form and tests his will against theirs if he wins he gains control of their body being able to absorb all their powers and memories” (image for you guys http://i.imgur.com/7rKijkY.jpg)

“Increasing his power by a land scale resulting with him being able to break free of the hold this lake has onto him”

'But if he loses the exchange between wills then he'll cease to exist and his powers will be absorbed by the other person'

'When I heard those words a spark went off in my chest'

'I decided to destroy that Nøkken and absorb it for the one reason it killed millions of people for it's own gain'

'I vowed today to destroy all evil to make up for who I killed or what I did in the past so if I run away from this enemy in fear I'll never be able to look at myself again'

“Aster where is it located”

“If you're bent on fighting it simply say I challenge you Nøkken to a battle of wills!”

'I took a deep breath and yelled out'

“I challenge the bas**** named Nøkken to a battle of wills”

'Sudden blue and white circles started to appear'

'The light was too strong so I closed my eyes'

'When I opened them I saw a man with ocean blue hair sparkling skin a skinny build and blue eyes that resembled the rainbow' (image for you guys http://i.imgur.com/STWDxOE.jpg)

'The blue haired man turned towards us and said'

“Are you the mortal who mocked me before summoning me here?”

'I looked towards him with a death stare and said'

“That I did you fu**** bas*** once again I'll repeat this fight me Nøkken in a battle of wills”

'His face started to turn bloody red and he said'

“You dare speak to me like that human fine I'll grant your wish of being absorbed by perfection”

“You wish you man eating superiority complex stuck up bas**** I'll absorb you and escape this place today”

This was the start of my adventure how me and Nøkken met where we begun our journey.
