Overlord of the skies! Mighty under heavens! Possessing the power to destroy anything on its path; whether its a kingdom, empire or a god, one shall tremble in the face of absolute destroyers ...
The Mighty Overlords; Dragons!
However, although one can say that the Dragon Clan; although possess small numbers because of the low fertility rate, still possess one of the strongest power in the continent among the different races. Even the formerly esteemed Demon Clan fell slightly inferior to the Dragon Clan in terms of strength.
Humans had their cunning, smart and superior intellect that seemed limitless. Coupled with their unrelentless will to survive that even rival that of the most tenacious cockroaches and the terrifying mindset to take revenge on even the slightest grievances, made them the most hard to exterminate and the worst to make an enemy out of the four major races of the continent.
Beastmen had their superior strength, agility and perception akin to that of a beasts; especially when the moon is full, their powers jumped by several levels. They also possess powerful senses to read the magic atmosphere and even the people.
Demons had their vile, cunning and bloodthirsty natures. With their superior magic capabilities, they were something hard to ignore. Demons were also divided by differnt races that had each of their own specializations and abilities.
... And most of all, the Dragon Clan. Possessing everything of this races various characteristics; From superior mind to unimaginable strength and power. However, their only greatest weakness is their small numbers.
All of this were the different distinctive attributes and qualities of the ruling races inside the continent.
Thinking about this, Abiona agreed that their clan is the most powerful race but yet ... just like what Ileana had stated. Their clans abilities were only slightly superior to those of an S-SS rank Dragon type Monsters and Demonic Beasts. Even the King class Dragon type beasts were much stronger than them, the mighty dragon clan.
"But still ... even if that were true, His Highness shouldn't be any different from us, your royal majesty."
"I know. But from the information I've gathered until now, although Lyle has the same physique with us but I felt that something was somewhat different."
"What do you mean different, you royal majesty ?"
"I don't know ... " Ileana shook her head dejectedly. "I just felt it ... you might call this a woman or even a mother's intuition. Aside from me, no one might be able to feel this ..."
"Is this the reason you didn't want His Highness to join a war ?"
"Yeah ... I just have a feeling that if Lyle somewhat join a war or a bloody battle and experience the horrors of it. He might ... no he will certainly change."
"Change is it ?"
"You should have known it Abiona ... " Casting her gaze filled with sadness and loneliness. "You have joined one or two wars, few years ago ... ground filled with corpses and blood. Anger, Hate, resentment ... various negative emotions floating in the atmosphere ... the real face of war.
Terrifying as it is ... that even the most innocent thing will be defiled and tainted, the most beautiful flower will be dyed with blood and violence. And the most refreshing breeze will be stink in blood and rotten bodies that could make anyone vomit in disgust."
Ileana let out another sigh; whatever she was thinking about caused an extreme sorrow to appear in her eyes.
Abiona did not know what to say to her and resorted to remaining silent and not say anything.
Locking her gaze to Abiona's eyes, Ileana cast her questions filled with deep emotions. "... Should I, the mother send my only son in that kind of place ? Tell me Abiona, you who also have seen and experience the horrors of war ... am I just overreacting ? Am I just being overprotective of my son ? Tell me if my thoughts were wrong ... " Ileana let out a pained smile.

Seeing the look on Ileana's eyes and the deep feelings exuding on her expression, Abiona couldn't say anything. She could only bit her lips hard in frustration as she gently shook her head.
She was woman just like Ileana but she wasn't a mother nor a wife. Although she can pretend that she understands her but the truth was ... she could never understand the feeling she was having right now; expecially if she decided to send her only beloved son to a place called the battlefield that only death lingers.
When she was just a kid ... a little girl ... didn't she also think and act differently than now ? If she didn't experience to fight for her life in the war like a small rat desperately trying to surive ... If she didn't see and experience the real nature of man through war ...
Would she still be as innocent as an angel ? Will she act as if the world was the most beautiful place in existence ?
If she was the one on Ileana's shoes ... what will she feel ?
Smiling wryly, Ileana turned her gaze back to the bulish white sky. "I know that my husband was right ... Experiences like this could make him grow up ... however, as a mother I couldn't bear to see my child learn through this. What will I do if it somehow became detrimental to him and he became evil ? My kind and adorable son ... become a very terrifying existence ? What should I ... as a mother do ?" When she got to this point her voice grew soft and trailed off.
"I was always hoping that Lyle would live a peaceful era. Far from the gongs of war and the path of carnage ... the sight of blood and the smell of rotten bones and flesh. I just wanted for him to live a comfortable and peaceful life ... "
Abiona's heart was suddenly filled with sympathy.
Only people close to the Dragon Queen like her would know that she would rarely show this kind of expression and was always headstrong but when she does act like this ... it meant that her heart was suffering.
Her beautiful golden heart was worried of her most important son.
As for what fate does it store of her beloved son and prince ...
No one knows ... no one could predict ...
------------------
After the unexpected breakfast, Lyle and Sasha brought Moori out of the office and unto their mansion. Although Sasha still couldn't believe what happened as it was really too fast, she was already used to her young master's sudden decisions and antics, thus regaining her senses.
Moori had to take a loss and awkwardly followed them down to their house.
The moment the door was opened, Moori was once again stunned. There was actually another beautiful girl living in Lyle's house?
Who is she ...?
Ah right, Lyle seemed to mention Sheila-something before?
The person before her was surprisingly a beautiful young woman with long brown hair and brown eyes. She has huge voluptuous chest and her body had a very perfect curve.
What's more eye-catching was her eagle-like eyes that looks like they can see through you when she looked at you.
---Even she couldn't help but feel entranced by her appearance.
With her hand still against the door, Moori forget to greet her. The two of them stood there staring at one another.
Is she ... one of his kittens ... too ?
Everyone else was being treated as if they were just decorations.
After looking at her from head to toe, Sheila turned her gaze towards Lyle and asked something that made Moori to almost plant her head into the ground.
"Lyle, thou seemed different from yesterday. And thee have the same scent from this little girl as well as this little girl had thou scent ... Did thou perhaps ... mate ... ?"
Boom!
Moori fell onto the ground with a thunderous sound.
