Chapter -1

                 Y University was a very famous place for students of literature.It was one of the best in the country.So of course, Michael wanted to go there.It was his dream since 2 years ago.Though he had no idea why he took Ancient Pharian Language Studies instead of what he actually liked.Maybe it was the opportunities or maybe it was his mother.It was not like he did not have supportive parents.He did.Perhaps he just wanted to get way from home.

                      It could be because of his sister as well but that was not completely it either.All his life, he's been compared to her.Though he loves her,it just got too much for him.He just wants to be himself and be appreciated for it.

Compared to his sister,he was always the quiet one.The one who didn't speak much.He had always been an introvert,someone who always kept on thinking about what to say next and never actually got around to saying it.There had been a lot of things left unsaid in his life but nobody had ever noticed.So it was in no way surprising that this went unnoticed as well.

                       But this year,he's finally decided to make some actual friends and not just focus on his studies.Maybe he'll even try to participate in some club activities.'Try' being the key word,that is.

                      Anyway,he has good hopes for this year.It will be the first time he's away from home.Away from everything he's been till now.Now,he can choose what he wants to be without pondering about what others will think of him.This time around,he wants to be able to decide on what he wants to be—without outside interference.

                       Thinking up to this point,he didn't realise when he reached the front gate of the university.Michael finally snapped out of his thoughts.He paid the cab driver and got his luggage out from the trunk.The luggage was not much:just a few clothes,daily necessities and some books.The cab slowly left.He stood before the large magnificent gates, feeling a bit small suddenly.As soon as the feeling came,he shook it off.No! He was not going to do this again.He has come here to turn over a new leaf and that's exactly what he's going to do.

Some things are better left in the past.Don't let it ruin your present........
