PROLOGUE

Momo

: "MMMMM."

Momo: "What happened??"

???: "Good morning sleepyhead." Suddenly I hear a voice.

Now that I’m aware of it. 'Where am I?' As far as I can tell I’m in a dark place without a shred of light. I tried moving but it’s no use. I don’t even have sense that I have a body.

???: "Sorry to say this but you died." Sudden revelation astonished me. But before I had a chance to ask the mysterious voice spoke again. "But you don’t need to worry."

Before the voice could continue unable to hold myself back I shouted out loud.

Momo: "I'M DEAD?!?"

Momo: 'How is that possible? I remember going home and then?...' I try to remember what happened after and nothing, there was nothing like someone took a spoon and gouged portion of my memory out.

???: "Before you start going on a trip in your memory lane I warn you due to the nature of your memories before your death I took them for myself. In exchange I let you reincarnate in the realm I'm able to influence."

Momo: "Why? I don’t think I deserve that chance."

???: "Hahahaha. Don’t sell yourself so short. Sigh, let’s call it a trade your memories for new life what do you say?"

Momo: "Okay I understand what you are saying now. So how will we do this." I asked still reluctant to believe what I was hearing.

???: "Ok Momo, first let me introduce myself. My name is Belial (google it if you want to know more on the subject)." 'I wonder how did it know my name.' "Asmodeus wanted you for herself but i won her over hahaha."

Momo: "Asmodeus???" I inquired tilting my head to the right.

Belial: "Well" sudden silence fell. *Sigh* "Asmodeus governs lust and darkness."

Momo: "Ok so what's so good about being chosen by you?" My sudden question was followed by silence. It hung there for awhile keeping me in suspense before it spoke again.

Belial: "There are basically no advantages."

Momo: ...

Belial: "Ok, let’s start then. You will reincarnate in a world of my choosing. Because I am new to this I will give you few abilities to start with."

Momo: "What do you mean by ‘new to this’?"

Belial: "AHAHAHAHA. I ascended to godhood around 10 years ago so I don't have much experience and not much to give you." I could feel some remorse in it's words." If I allowed you to go to Asmodeus you could become a higher tier demon. But let’s move on. I can let you choose your race. It’s not much but here is your choices."

*Ding*

I thought for a while about my choices. I realised that I can't choose a human or another fantasy race. So my decision was clear.

Momo: "I'll go with Lizard-kin."

Momo:"Yes!"

Belial:"Ok now about the abilities I'm giving you. First up is [Lightning Affinity] and [Lightning Resistance] these are my personal traits so it's easy. Second is the [Demigod of Lightning Divine Protection] and [Belial's Blessing: Belial’s Wrath].

Momo: "It's good and all but what do these do?"

Belial: "My blessing will lower the necessary amount of mana needed to cast lightning spells and affinity reduces it even more and resistance allows you resist lightning damage to some extent. Lastly Belial’s Wrath allows you to cast massive 5km radius area of effect spell centered around you that will annihilate all that gets caught in it. It will not cost you any mana but there will be restrictions on it and I will be the one to pay the cost, severely weakening me so don't use it carelessly. Oh, I almost forgot. I'll give you [Language Translation] and [Text Translation] this will allow you to learn to speak and read any humanoid, monster or animal language."

Momo: "Thank you for all of this. I don’t know how I will repay you for this."

Belial: "No need to thank me."

Momo: "Any advice on what should I do after I am born in the new body???"

Belial: "My advice would be start meditating and locate your mana core. Just by doing that you will learn a few useful abilities and do some random things sometimes as it will yield some abilities.

Momo: ...

Belial: "Confused?"

Momo: "Not really. But random things?" I asked smiling mischievously.

Belial: "Nothing too crazy ok, keep it in moderation."

Momo: "Ok."

Belial: "Ok, it’s time for you to go. We took longer than expected."

Momo: "Ah wait i have mo...."

I awoke to strange sensation of being submerged. I tried to feel around and my hands hit a smooth surface. Once I was aware of my situation  a sudden panic attack swept away my logic. I frantically started scratching and hitting egg shell that was keeping me from outside world. After about 30 min of life and death struggle I was out of my shell.

After I was out the panic subsided and another very familiar feeling overcame me, it was hunger. Thankfully there was a pile of meat. Without a second thought i feasted on the mystery meat that was in front of me. And let me tell you, it felt like it was most delicious meat i ever eaten in my life. (Lol, that was actually my first meal after I was reborn.)

Once my hunger was sated I felt sleepy and felt like it was a good idea to just pass out where I stood.
