After the fall of the Linali empire the remaining human countries mustered all their remaining forces on an all-out war against the beastkin and vampires.

With the disappearance of the ancient dragon the humans focused all their forces on repelling the two new threats that appeared before them.

After a few months all the countries aside from the kingdom of bardonia who cooperated on overthrowing the humans were wiped out.

The beastkins then established a nation called the federation of the fang which ruled the north and the vampires established the crimson night empire on the south. The survivors from the destroyed human kingdoms were enslaved by the vampires and were treated as livestock.

The kingdom of bardonia was then invaded by the minotaurus and centaurs. After a few weeks of struggling the kingdom of Bardonia was erased from the map and the republic of the beast was formed.

Five months later.

I somehow managed to escape the fate of being enslaved by the vampires thanks to the help of these two. But I doubt that we can survive long in this forest which was under the rule of the beastkin.

After Leo said those words he suddenly heard something move from the bush in front of him and he quickly placed his hand on the hilt of his sword. Shiro did the same as Leo as they slowly approached the bush.

Then a dagger was placed at my neck and then I heard the voice of a girl who then told me.

"Don't move, unless you want me to slit your throat little missy."

After hearing the words of the girl Leo and Shiro turned around a pair of daggers were sent flying towards their hands at lightning fast speed.

Unable to react in time the daggers stabbed the two's hands. Both Shiro and Leo let's go of their swords and glared at the girl behind me.

As I tried to turn my head to look at the person's face the dagger moved closer to my neck and the girl said to me coldly.

"One more move and you'll die little missy. So just be a good girl and don't do anything rash."

The girl then removes the dagger from my neck and she said.

"Can you react in time when I attack you directly?"

In an instant the girl vanished fro behind me and she was already in front of Shiro and Leo who failed to react in time as she points the dagger at the necks of the two.

The girl returns the daggers back to it's pouch and she then turned to me and she said in a serious tone as she showed a depressed expression.

"You've survived for this long and this is all you're capable of? I'm so disappointed in all of you."

The girl was wearing a cloak that covered her face so I can't see her face. But one thing is clear. She's not human and if we're going to get out of this alive then we must act cautiously.

The girl looked at me with a sadden look on her face as she removed the hood and revealed a pair of fox ears which are proof that she's a beastkin.

"I wanted to ask the humans that survived the war a favor, but it seems that you aren't capable of defending yourselves against those simple attacks. If I ask your help now then I'm not sure that you can make it out of the war alive."

Shiro and Leo clenched their fist as the two of the understood the huge gap in strength between them and the beastkin girl in front of them. The two tried to draw their swords but in that instant the dagger was sufdenly thrown towards me.

What's wrong with me? My body won't move! If I don't move away from then I'll die!

Before the dagger made contact with my body it stopped in mid air. I let out a sigh of relief as the girl slowly approached while showing a smile on her face as she said.

"I'm not planning on making you my enemy since I'm asking your help. But with this level of strength then you'll just die in vain."

 The girl then pointed her fingers at me and she said proudly.

"That's why the three of you will train with me. If you want to survive in this new world then you must become stronger."
