"Ugh!"
A pale-skinned boy with barely any meat on his bones pushed himself up from the ground and looked around. He was completely covered in mud, he tried wiping the mud on his face with one of his sleeves, but it didn't help as his sleeve was also muddy. His black hair had clumps of mud and grass in it and the only thing which seemed to distinguish the boy from the ground was the pair of green eyes.
Around him, the rain was pouring down, even so the flames kept roaring. The entire village was burning to the ground, the wall of stone which had surrounded it once was now crumbling to pieces and smashing the people who would try to escape. Even though he saw this brutal scene, and even noticed the giant shadow being cast down on the village from above, he couldn't focus on it.
He didn't understand anything, where was he, why was he here, what the hell was going on?
As he was having these thoughts, someone grabbed him and he was pulled up to sit on the broad shoulders of an armored man. He looked down at the man, he was wearing a large set of steel armor which was clearly made for a knight. But he wasn't holding a weapon, and his helmet was also gone. The man was bald, with scars all over the top of his head. Although he couldn't see his face, the child was rather sure that was scared too.
After a short while of running and dodging the falling rocks from the collapsing stone wall, the knight put the child on the ground next to a few other humans of different ages. But the green-eyed kid still couldn't focus on the situation at hand, to those watching he probably seemed to be in shock. Which he was, certainly... Just not in the way they were assuming.
"What... What is going on?"
He whispered to himself quietly as he looked around him, finally snapping back into reality. The people around him looked horrified, eyes wide in shock, staring at the sky above as the smell of smoke reached their nostrils. This was their home, and to see it collapsing all at once like this was a shock few things could compare to.
He followed their eyes to see what they were looking at, and there he saw it. A giant, horrifying beast the size of a larger mountain. It's body was round and see-through, but here and there small patches of green moss grew. In the middle of the slimy see-through substance that was its body, there was an eye, a horrible bloodshot eyeball seemingly ripped straight from a human's skull.
On its side it had six wings, seemingly sewn onto its body the giant black wings seemed unfitting of this blob. Instead, the wings looked like they ahd belonged to a far more magnificent being, and then been cut off just to be attached to this repugnant creation.

This was how the average person would describe this being, but the seven-year old boy thought differently.
A huge smile spread across his face, as the eyeball rotated inside of the creature's body, turning towards a few buildings in the city and, with only it's stare setting them ablaze. He could hear horses behind him, but all he could focus on was the magnificent creation in front of him. Everything else was just a waste of time in comparrasion to studying this creature.
It seemed that the slimy, transparent body of the creature was now mixing with the rain and dripping into the city in order to create multiple smaller versions of itself. All these smaller creatures were lacking an eye however, and were easily cut down by the few knights who still remained on the ground. The gigantic creature in the sky was still just hovering there, flapping it's wings once every few seconds as it's body became slightly smaller every minute.
Droll was almost running from the boys mouth now, as he moved closer to the creature. The wall had almost completely crumbled by now, but pieces were still falling near him. Nobody ahd amde an attempt to stop him, as they had been too busy thinking about their own survival and following the knights to the escape caravans.
Although some of the knights noticed his movements, none were brave or stupid enough to dare follow him. if the kid had a death wish, he would be left to die as he wished, and then his expression would scare even the most trained of warriors, especially since it was on a child's face.
He had long sicne stepped inside the crumbled wall and was now so close to the battlefield he could hear the grunts of soldiers as they took attacks from the smaller creatures who overwhelmed them with sheer numbers. Making knights choke as they were trapped inside of their transparent bodies and then devoured as nutrition for the creature.
"This is... This is amazing. Such a creature, I don't care where I am anymore... Thank you Heavenly Protector for showing me this sight."
The boy bowed and turned his muddy face towards the sky with a look of reverence. Just as he did this he felt something crawl up his body. He looked down only to see a bunch of the small slimes crawl up his legs and onto his chest, continuing towards his head quickly. He tried shaking them off, to no avail.
A spark of desperation and interest appeared in his eyes, he had never seen a monster like this before. Most slime-like monsters could be shook fo easily, but this one was different. He dropped onto the ground with the plan of rolling around to get rid of the slime now surrounding his body. But he was too late, he was already completely encased in it.
He could feel it going into his mouth, down his throat and into his stomach. His insides felt like they were burning and when he tried to breath it felt as if someone had jammed their fist down his throat. He could feel himself wanting to throw up, yet he didn't expect himself to be able to because of the slime inside of him.
A red flash, and a eardrum-shattering boom. A sword, and a lone man holding that sword. A sword that cut straight through the giant beast's eye, killing it. These were the last events before the young boy fainted, still confused but also, angered.
