Chapter 8: Taking Down the One-Eyed Blue Ghoul

Chapter 8: Taking Down the One-Eyed Blue Ghoul.

Large ghouls with small brains are very peaceful and do not bother anyone except when hunting for their food. They do not like when their food escapes, and they also do not like to be disturbed when they eat their food.

The blue ghoul with the first level of the Qi Realm was eating his food that he caught after a long day, but now some of what he considered food appeared in front of him, but the leader told them that some of these small foods that appeared in front of him might be strong, so they should be careful of them.

But why should one be wary of this feast that appeared before him? Does this not mean throwing away the blessing?

The ghoul rose to face the new arrivals before his eyes.

_____________

“Okay, this is the moment of truth; use everything I told you to do.” After Max said this, the plan began as he wanted.

The fighters started heading towards the blue monster and then began to confuse it by turning right and left in order to focus the monster's eye on them. Of course, this does not mean that they have to do this all day long, as the monster is faster than them.

After distracting the monster with the food running in front of him, Max, who was on one of the tall trees, prepared his arrow filled with the potion he had brought, then directed it exactly at the eye of the monster that was running after his targets.

"Swingg!!"

After the arrow hit the ghoul's only eye, blood began to come out of his eye. As soon as they saw this, the fighters started hitting the monster with the swords and weapons they had.

But it did not take long before the ghoul removed the arrow from his eye. He could no longer see, and now all he would rely on was his strong hearing.

He hit with his hands the people who were hitting him with weapons filled with potions. Some of them had their bones crushed; some survived, but the person closest to taking the hit couldn't bear the shock and died because all his internal organs were crushed.

The monster began its rampage and began attacking any sound it heard, but an arrow was struck in the same area, in its eye. Although it had already become blind, it was the only weak area in the monster’s body. Even swords and other weapons were unable to penetrate its body, but as it wanted, Max had enough to get some of the potion into his body while he focused on getting the potion into his eye.

The ghoul became more angry and began to attack in the direction of the sounds, while a group of arrows hit him in a few other areas.

Some people were killed because they were not fast enough like their comrades, while others were crushed by the monster's hands.

Then people started running and raising their voices in the area that Max had told them about. Powerful arrows and other weapons were, of course, not enough to kill the monster. They needed something much stronger.

The monster ran further towards the sounds without thinking.

Of course, this wasn't Max's initial plan. He could have used a more coordinated and more time-consuming plan, but he had been given the green light in the death of these bastards, and he also needed to reduce the number of people here to a minimum. The reason for that was because he did not want a large number of witnesses.

After the monster approached the place Max wanted him to approach, he shot an arrow at its eye again. This arrow was different from the others. It was an arrow burning with flame, which made the confused monster stop in its place and try to remove the burning arrow.

“Attack as hard as you can, using all the remaining potions.”

The fighters began trying to insert the sharp weapons stained with the potions they had as hard as they could. To their surprise, they were able to wound him, unlike the first time, when attacking the monster was like attacking an impenetrable iron plate.

This was due to the paralysis potion. That potion was definitely not an ordinary potion; it lowered the monster's defense little by little and made the opponent's strong muscles less powerful.

With another arrow towards the monster's eye, which he barely removed the first one, he struck another blow that killed three more. However, some had already fled because they had learned from their first mistake and did not want to be under the attack of this monster.

While another burning arrow was piercing the monster's eye, he finally took out the last arrow that would take down the monster. He struck the monster in the heart. After the arrow entered the monster's chest, it did not enter enough. It seemed that the ghoul's heart was more defensive and stronger than other areas of his body.

With a jump from his place on top of the tree, he landed with a kick on the monster's head, making him move back a little. Then the trap was activated. He made it, and it's the most basic and easy trap that humans have ever made.

A pit filled with sharp logs filled with the same chemical that Max created.

After the monster fell into the hole, it was pierced by sharp wood.

'What the leader said was true; they are very dangerous. I had to run away.' These were the monster's last thoughts before it died.

_______________

“Finally, huh, huh, that was easier than I thought,” Max said; fortunately, no one among the lucky ones remaining heard him.

“System countdown: one hour; I won't take much longer, but I need a reminder.”

[The one-hour countdown has started]

[00:59:59]

"So how much are still alive here?"

"16 men left, Max-san."

“Hmm, so roughly less than half are dead,” Max said with little thought.

'Hold your breath for three minutes,' Max said with a mental command to the three people under his control.

They did all his orders without being able to do anything, then he held his breath and threw a bottle on the ground.

That bottle was the second chemical potion he made yesterday, and he had not used it yet.

After that, pink smoke began to spread throughout the entire area.

Everyone who inhaled that smoke fell to the ground and fainted.

The remaining person was Tori, the most important person he wanted to faint.

Tori fell to the ground but did not faint; he stood up and headed towards Max.

"Max, what the hell was that?"

Max didn't answer him because he already saw signs of exhaustion on Tori's face; there was no need to respond.

Tori also fell to the ground, unconscious.

'Well, huh, this is very convenient.' Max was greatly relieved after knowing that Tori was not that strong enough to not faint.

He was very worried that Tori was strong and had a high level of magic, or Qi, that would prevent him from fainting.

All this happened under the surprised eyes of the three.

After approximately two and a half minutes had passed, the pink smoke disappeared from the area.

The four stopped holding their breath.

“Hey, you big old man, go to the hole and give me the monster’s liver.”

Old Lee stepped forward and did what Max ordered him to do with great perfection. After bringing the liver, he gave it to Max. Max grabbed the heavy liver with his bare hands.

“This is my order to you two. After Tori and the others wake up, you will be witnesses to the fact that what happened was that the potion accidentally fell from my hand, and everyone began to faint from it, including me.”

“After that, you lost consciousness, but you woke up before them. Is this understood?”

“Understood,” said the two old men, who could not even express their displeasure in his presence.

“What about me? Won’t I be a witness?”

“Oh no, you have other work, and you will definitely be unconscious like the others,” Max said with a sly smile.

“Follow me,” Max said as he placed the liver in the system's storage.

"Max-sama, where are we going?" Alexa spoke with an air of fear in her heart, and she couldn't push that fear away from her.

She started to feel that something was going to happen to her; at least he said she would just be unconscious and not dead.

But what exactly will happen to her?

After they reached an almost empty area, a mountainous area without any grass,

Max began using blood (not his own) by drawing a special, large magic circle, then placing the three sacrifices on the bloody circle in different areas in the shape of a triangle.

“Is this a sacrifice to some demon?”

"Hmm, sort of; as you know, I don't have magic in my body. I need magic, and to make that true, I need four sacrifices. Three of them are there; now the fourth remains," Max said with a big smile.

This scared Alexa badly.

“Max-sama, please tell me that I am not the fourth sacrifice.”

“Ding Dong, correct answer; now I want you to go to the center of the circle and not touch any blood on the ground or the circle in general.”

“I...I...” Alexa began to tremble in fear. This was not what she thought her death would be like.

Max said, looking at the frightened girl:

"Well, doesn't that sound fun? buhahahahahahaha"
