Kasumi POV
Kasumi closed her eyes, basking in the warmth of the sunlight as her shiny white hair flowed down her back. As she opened her eyes, she found herself facing an imposing brown gate guarded by two stern-looking guards.
Curiosity piqued, she decided to approach one of the guards and ask about the town."Sir," she called out.
The man turned his head toward her, wearing a confused and annoyed expression."What do you want?" he gruffly replied.
Suppressing her annoyance at his rudeness, Kasumi continued, "I wanted to ask you about the name of this town. I'm not quite sure where I am at the moment."
Rubbing the back of her neck nervously, she awaited the guard's response, hoping he wouldn't react negatively.
"This is the town of Kruton," he replied, pointing inside the gate to reveal the bustling streets beyond.
"Thank you," Kasumi said politely, not wanting to waste any more time. She walked past the guard and entered the gate, exploring the unfamiliar streets of Kruton. As she strolled along, she marveled at the unique architecture of the buildings until she stumbled upon an inn.
Placing her hands on the door, she gently pushed it open, greeted by the sweet aroma of pastries that tickled her senses and made her stomach growl. Inside, she noticed a woman in an old-fashioned sweater, her back turned toward the entrance as she wiped down a wooden table.
The woman turned around, revealing her kind face and short, messy white hair. "Someone's hungry," the older lady giggled with a smile, placing three different pies on the table: apple, strawberry, and an intriguingly colored pie. Kasumi's anticipation grew, realizing she hadn't eaten anything all day.

Looking up at the old lady, she gratefully replied, "Yes, I do, ma'am."The lady took a knife, cut a slice of apple pie, and served it on a plate. Kasumi sat down at a table and savored the delicious treat. As she enjoyed her meal, the woman struck up a conversation.
"What troubles you, dear?" the woman asked, her voice warm and comforting. She pulled an oak chair from behind the counter, the sound scraping against the wooden floor, and sat down.Kasumi sighed, running her hand through her hair, and began recounting her recent experiences.
She mentioned waking up in an unfamiliar place, encountering a strange wolf-like creature, falling into a random cave, and eventually arriving in Kruton. "It's been a crazy day," she concluded, stifling a yawn and rubbing her eyes.
"Well, things will get better. As my mother always says, life might tear you down, but you have to make the most of it," the woman replied with a reassuring smile.
As they conversed, a female voice interrupted them. A young girl with black hair and a white skirt and dress shirt entered the inn, looking puzzled.
"Mother? Who are you talking to?" the girl inquired, her pale face expressing confusion. Tentacle-like strands of hair flowed down to her feet.
"I'm Kasumi Chikafuji, and you are?" Kasumi greeted the girl with a big smile. The girl smiled back and introduced herself as Sara Himari. Kasumi couldn't help but feel surprised by Sara's request.
"Wait, you seriously want to join my party?" Kasumi asked, her astonishment evident."Yes, I do. You seem like an amazing person, and I believe we can accomplish a lot together," Sara replied, her eyes shining with determination.
Smiling, Kasumi grabbed Sara's hand, and they hurriedly made their way to the adventure guild.
Upon entering the guild, they found themselves surrounded by a diverse group of individuals, including orcs, werewolves, centaurs, and humans.
"Are you two here to become adventurers?" a voice called out from behind the counter."Yes, we are," Kasumi replied.
The guild attendant asked for their names and instructed them to place their hands on a book with strange engravings. The book illuminated, displaying their levels, skills, and stats.
Gasping at the sight of Kasumi's extraordinary power and high-level abilities, the attendant struggled to contain her amazement. However, Sara's stats were relatively low.
"Your level is quite low, but your stats and skills are exceptional. We'll assign you A-rank jobs," the attendant finally said.
"That will be fine," Kasumi agreed.
Afterward, the attendant handed them a card each, bearing their names, signifying their membership in the guild.
Feeling a sense of accomplishment, Kasumi turned to the attendant, "Could you please fix this up for me?"
The attendant nodded and made the necessary adjustments to the card, ensuring it reflected Kasumi's newfound powers.
With their future as adventurers ahead of them, Kasumi and Sara exited the guild, ready to embark on their first mission together.
