Jordan Smith was a nice kid since he was a baby, he always had a smile on his face and always tried to keep everyone happy even in bad situations. That was what everyone who knew him knew and loved about him, but now they'd say that used to be him.

When Jordan was only 16 he was diagnosed with kidney cancer, it was barely even in the first stage so they weren't that serious about it. Somehow, it got so bad they couldn't even do anything, it got so bad he could barely do anything and had to stay in the hospital until he died, which was in 1 year.

Jordan at first tried to keep the smile he always had and tried to keep everyone happy and make them smile. He tried his best, but as the days went by his smile and happy energy died little by little, until it wasn't there anymore.

Jordan laid there on the hospital bed with his eyes barely open staring at the sky. He wish he could see his family, he knew today was gonna be the day, he felt it, today was his farewell to the world. He hasn't seen his family in a month, he at first thought it was because they were busy, but then he knew they either didn't wanna see him like that anymore or just abandoned him.

He laid there with an envelope in his hand with a letter to his family in it, he wrote it the day they told him he even had cancer, by now that would be four years ago.

The doctor came in, he didn't have to long so all he said was, "Can you give this to my family please?" and handed the doctor the letter. He thought he would have had even a little bit of time but he didn't.

Jordan closed his eyes and a second later he passed and the heart monitor started beeping.
