Journey begins

A frustrated noise chased out the silence as my mother yelled at my father again disturbing my sleep

“What? Godric ! Rave isn’t even four yet! No! I...., your ....teach her!” Mother spoke something with evident desperation.

“I, also, never expected .....Who has...Father.....she is of home....” Father responded a lot more calmly.

“You don’t get it. I ..... couldn’t help ....I’m holding my...”

I was too sleepy to hear the rest

Unfortunately that night began my parents’ quarrel.

They went back and forth, basically repeating their initial points; mother kept saying that I was too young, father saying that they couldn’t hold me back from reaching my full potential, and something about training blah blah...

In the meantime, I was busy sleeping resting and relaxing and occasionally trying to use magic

I managed to find a way to accelerate my growth by using an isosceles triangle

From what I read from mother’s books and what my father explained the structure of the shapes especially...angle...yes the angle affects the overall effect of the spell

There are several types of variation for a triangle like equal triangle which has all angles and sides equal so the flow of power is equalized automatically

𐍉 Uz

⥉ Iwe(an alfeyen rune represents ivy, persistence and growth)

𐍥 Igor

One thing all casters must know be extremely careful when using runes of different languages in the same spell If you are chanting that is

It seems that the shapes only rely on the meaning of the rune and how it connects with the corresponding runes

Isosceles triangle is a type of triangle that has two sides of equal length. These two sides are called the legs of the triangle, and the third side is called the base. The angles opposite the equal sides are also equal to each other.

The runes Uz and Iwe are placed at the points of the equal angle while the rune Igor is on the peak of the triangle where the angle is greater than the other two (individually)

Igor represent Adaptability and Flexibility which is important for balancing out the other two runes

A larger angle means it has a stronger effect....also the last time I used an equal triangle I grew by five inches and my hair grew so long that it covered my face , Mother almost had a heart stop when she saw me like this

Right now I have the physical appearance of a six year old not

On the third day after that night a group of warriors came all attired in steel and leather armour

Now that I think about it we never really had a metal called steel in those times only bronze and iron...I have very little knowledge what sort of metal steel is but I am sure it’s some sort of alloy of iron [1]

Steel comes in different colours from full grey like iron to almost silver like the ones those warriors wore

They bowed to my parents and spoke for some time about something

By mid morning, we were heading out to my father’s house

After tying my leather sack, containing my books(a sort of compact bounded scroll) and a couple of snacks, to my back I grasped my mother’s hand and followed my parents

After our company finished loading in all of our travel necessities into the three storage carriages we were taking, we strapped in roaptor These giant lizards, with spikes across their backs and powerful claws, were domesticated beasts that were a lot more efficient to use albeit hard to manage when travelling long distances.

The information I learned from my father about the important members of our guard consisted of the following:

Eric Salab: He is the captain of the rear guard augmenter, specializing in swordsmanship.

Geared : Male augmenter, our front guard whose main weapon was the spear.

Estelle Orelen: Female caster, who specialized in fire, water and earth elements and by extension ice magic

Rose: Female speaker, specializing in sensing and knowledge a little bit about fire and wind

Durendan: Male conjurer, specializing in natural shaping

There were about twenty warriors in the front and twenty in the rear along with thirty servents to attend to our needs

For most part the journey in the carriage was boring and monotonous

Until we set camp that was ... exciting

By nightfall we eventually stopped to set up camp near a By nightfall, we eventually stopped to set up camp in a small clearing within the forest. It was an ideal spot, with tall trees shielding us from the wind , plenty of fallen branches to use as firewood and a small brook nearly two draw water from

After setting up a couple of tents around the fire, my father began showing me off to everyone

Seriously what am I ? a showpiece

Rose sat down next to me and said nonchalantly, “I heard rumours say that you’re some kind of genius mage… Is it true you’ve already awakened?”

“Yes”

She began asking me how I felt when I had awakened and what I feel now how my mana core(whatever that is) currently was. By this time, a couple of curious eyes were staring at me making me really uncomfortable

Not knowing how to respond,I just replied with the truth... judging by the reaction they were stating to act like I am some sort of newly invented spell

“She’s a lot more intelligent than my brat “

“That mage Cedric told me that my kid has potential but seeing her are you really three you look too big for your age”

“Girls grow faster than boys they say...”

“Even so...”

“Be grateful my brat is ten and still struggling to do a basic bust “

If I could’ve interjected, I might’ve said something along the lines of, ‘Maybe comparing a three hundred and three years old (yes I was exactly three hundred years old ignoring the months when I died) with a normal three year old isn’t a great idea since a normal three-year-old’s greatest accomplishments at this point would be successfully walking in a circle without falling but I guess they won’t really believe me anyways plus I like being young

“Can she do any magic”

Both my father and mother seemed at least a bit hesitant at first, then my father just replied, “Alright, but be careful. I haven’t had the chance to teach her how to properly use a spell yet. We’ve just been doing light strength and mana exercises.”

(Light strength exercises reference to making her walk across the room)

I got up from my makeshift log seat and looked around until I found a small puddle

A circle with a large dot in center connected with two circles via lines

I 𐍊 Isaprgna

Water gathered from the air and condensed into a semi-solid state near my shapes and then struck the spot forcefully freezing the puddle and the ground in a layer of ice

Haven’t taught him how to use a spell my butt! What did you teach this little monster?” Estelle bluted out in suprise “Those were runes of an ancient language and that was a an tri-elemental magic “

Sytigien was already considered an ancient language ? I guess Master will be happy that his half- invented language is considered an ancient language (he was well over a thousand years old he had a lot of free time)

“I didn’t teach her that,” my father managed to mutter.

“How ?” Estelle grabbed me suddenly as she knelt down

“I am actually a three hundred years old half-elf mage who just happened to be reincarnated as their daughter…

Surprise,” is what I wanted to say

“I read it in a boook..”

“A book!?” she asked me in disbelief

Thankfully my father shook himself out of the stupor and picked me up and gently passed me to mother who started burying my face, or rather my whole head, in her bosom

I could hear whispering behind me but thankfully mother took me back to the tent

I could hear Estelle and Durendan speaking softly with my Father
