Chapter 5:First Encounter

“Haah.that was fulfilling,the meat was delish and it sated my hunger,I don’t think I’ll be needing more for a few days,now,onto the matter about the sounds that I heard a little while back there,I got a notification about something that trespassed my territory but I didn’t want to spoil my well cooked food,well,time to find out those somethings.”

I activated my to its maximum in finding those presence and confirmed those presence running frantically inside the forest.

There were four presence of them as I confirmed the magic energy they were emitting with my eyes,green dots appeared on my mind radar after I activated my and seen their figures inside the forest,even though its far away I can still see the magic energy of them.

“Now,how do I use this wings of mine? This is a troublesome matter for me to chase them right?”.Ren started thinking while trying to figure out on how to move his wings,little by little with concentration his wings started to move abit until he was familiar with the feeling of flapping his wings.*Fwush**Fwush**Fwush* as he started to float a little bit before going towards the human presence.It was hard to fly correctly as he stumbled at the cave wall and rolled at the ground after the impact.”Yoww! that hurts”.Ren tried to fly again and succeeded while swaying left and right in the air.Even though he gained the dragon’s memory he did not obtain the dragon full instinct as to why he didn’t realize the presence of those humans.

I flew towards the presence of those humans at the speed of 25MPH,that was quite slow as he was still not fully familiar with the feeling of flying in the sky with his wings.

He flew and flew till he reached a certain distance of the place where the human presence stopped to take a rest as they panted,still terrified by the unexpected presence of the earlier dragon.

Adventurer’s Segment:

“The hell was that!,what is a dragon doing here in the middle of the forest!”

Bob spoke like a crazy man while trying to regain his breath after that shocking development.It really was an unexpected event that they encountered a dragon in this place,it really was a terrifying experience for them all.

“Shit!,we need to go farther,a dragon’s territory encompass a whole kilometers of land!,this is not far enough,we need to run farther before it can sense us that far.”

“Don’t jinx it!”

“Ah!,you guys shut up please!,we need to think of a diversion so the dragon won’t tail us until we reached human populace!”

They were thinking of a way to run from there without being tailed to human population worrying that the dragon may set its sight on many of the humans living there as they are considered as food for these dragons.Until the sounds of birds fluttering away and small animals scattering away made them silence with the incoming feeling of uneasiness until a large *Boom* landed right infront of the group’s location,standing there petrified,they stared at the black lump of being slowly rising up from the smokes before gazing at them with his neon green eyes.

Their face paled at the sight of the dragon infront of them as they muttered curses incorrigibly.The dragon’s crash landing broke several trees in half with a pile of debris as the dragon then roars after setting its sight on them,they fell of their backs as Teresa launched her magic to hinder the dragon and rescure her friends.

“Fireball!” as a ball of flame in the size of a human head flew at the dragon and hit the dragons face.It looked as if the dragons head were covered is flames and smokes surrounded its head.

Their hopes shattered down as the smoke faded away and there stood the dragon with its irritated face before walking up to them,the adventurers panicked again and paled like ghosts until the dragon reached them.

“Hi-HIiii!!,Go away!,I don’t want to die yet!”

“Don’t kill me!,im too young to die!”

“U-Uuuuuuu”

“Hi!,nice to meet you,I don’t want to kill you,you guys are good so no worry”

Ren said that but to them it was just a roar of some sort.Teresa,the leader were the farthest from them all and chanted her magic of lightning attribute to deal even a little damage to just save her friends.

“Spirits of lightning!,Grant me thy power and smitten thy enemies!,Lightning Javelin!”

As a bolt of lightning flew and hit the dragon,but to Ren,their size was just about a 180cm guy and a 20cm dolls that launched magic at him,the lightning magic struck him only to get negated.Spirits,for some reason cancelled that magic from hitting him of so it was mentioned in his Ability.

Intending to let them go as they were deemed not bad he quickly played flinch while falling.The adventurers saw that as a chance and ran for their lives.

“Fumu Fumu,they are good aren’t they,I was just checking if they was the intruders that trespassed his territory.Even though they landed useless magic to me I let them go as I don’t want to kill innocent beings”

Then,Ren gazed at his surroundings only to mutter some words.

“I need to fix this up ain’t i?” After he crash landed ontop of the trees. 

After that,Ren fixed the area with life magic by regrowing small trees and regenerating the trees back.

“Fumu,time to go home and reas a bit while thinking on how to clean up my home,it’s a mess.”

Ren then flew back towards his home at an astonishing rate after familiarizing the feeling of flying and the sensation of moving his wings.

Four figures running through the forest until they stopped again to take a breath.It was the first time in their life they had been so scared.A ranked monster to be here will be no doubt be spreaded quickly inside the kingdom.

“Hah,hah,damn that was unexpected,to cahse us until there is a long way from the previous place.” As the man with heave armor panted heavily as he was the heaviest of the group.

“U-uuuuuwaa,Maria wants to go home!”

“Calm down,calm down,we need to make sure that dragon wont chase us until here so im gonna scout back to see if he chases us or not”

“Still,I was amazed when your magic could make the dragon flinch and fall eh”as the heavy man complimented Teresa.Marly kept silent while sitting throughout the entire time,he was hiding his wet pants.Teresa confirmed that the dragon were gone so they quickly head back while Marley were at the last.

As Ren flew towards his home that is still faraway he was wondering if he could meet more human,after all if they are good he wont threaten,Bad?,prepare to be decimated,as he thought that only to hear a sound of someone calling for help.

“Help!,please help me!,someone!”(Dareka?!,dareka tuskete!)

Ren ofcourse changed his flight course toward the source of the sound not far away from there,his home was about 900m left before that sound came within 300m,so he chose the latter one only to find a teenage girl,guessing from her looks to be in the 18Yo with a pointed ears and wearing tattered clothes.She was running barefooted while being chased by some rough looking men wearing emblems of their chests.It was possible to see that far with his

“Fumu,an elf pretty girl(Bishoujo) eh,whats the problem with the men chasing her”

At last the girl tripped on something making those men easy to grab her.Being restrained,she struggles as one of the man gave a kick.

“Shut up you damn Bitch!” as the man kicked her.

“Gofuugh,ack”

There were other presence but it was far away,the girl struggles again and freed herself while knocking the 2 guys down.The girl ran away while I just arrived so I killed those men.

“Gyaaa,What is a dragon doing here!,Ru-“*Buchi*as they all were trampled by me.

“Huh?,whered the girl go?”

Ren tried to sense her but to naught,feeling dejected,he went home regretfully.

“Hmm,the girl may have hid where my senses can’t detect her.Minutes later Ren heard footsteps while he was resting that made him wake up and on guard,hiding on the side of the wall he waited until a figure went pass him as he captured the figure.

“Hou? Its you again,hi?”

As Ren said that to the elf.The elf was wide eyed and tried to scream but no sound went out as the dragon glared at her.Then,Ren noticed more footsteps outside the cave and muttering like “She went in here right? And “Lets just kill her,I hate her always running”.Ren,feeling enraged and was determined that this group of humans is a bad type of human.He waited for the humans to enter while he readied his ability to use at a certain kill distance.

When the humans went inside Ren unleashed his ability.

with a roar,the cave was lit and screams of agony filled the cave as the humans died miserably.

“There there,you’re safe now” as he glanced at the elf as the elf were cowering with tears in her eyes.

“Eh? Why is she crying?”
