The Cloud Eagle Short Sword charged recklessly! Is this guy insane?
Even in a one-on-one situation with a regular camp defender, it wouldn't necessarily guarantee victory against a single rotten wolf, let alone facing ten or more now while besieging the rotten wolves near Ula. What's the difference between him rushing in and seeking death?
Although this kid was lucky to kill the alpha wolf, his combat skills seem quite ordinary.
Two rotten wolves noticed the human youth and pounced towards this overconfident guy.
This kid is done for!
Suddenly, Cloud Eagle's body accelerated like it was slingshot, his hands thrusting into the abdomen of one rotten wolf, and then he kicked it away. As the other rotten wolf approached, Cloud Eagle's fist struck its head, unleashing an unbelievable burst of power that hammered the wolf straight to the ground.
The wounded wolf whimpered a few times, then immediately got up, retreated with its limbs, and its fur stood on end, as if it had seen something terrifying.
Cloud Eagle's eyes turned completely blood-red, veins bulged all over his body, transforming into a different person in an instant, exhibiting an incredible display of strength, speed, and ruthlessness for a young boy.
It's happening again! The stone hanging around Cloud Eagle's neck heated up again.
The eerie sight from that night was repeating itself, turning him into a volcano, filled with frenzy, anger, and a desire for slaughter. All sorts of destructive thoughts flooded his mind; it was as if the enigmatic will within the strange stone was at work again.
But this time, he felt different; surprisingly, he managed to maintain clarity. That night, he almost went completely insane!
The wolf pack was hesitant due to Cloud Eagle's change in demeanor, but based on their observation, this human didn't seem as dangerous as he felt. In that moment, more companions came in through the breached walls, and the wolves regained their confidence.
"They are too many. We can't beat them!" Cloud Eagle felt the stone's power receding like the ebb of a tide. He quickly told Ula, "Run!"
Ula growled a few times.
Who knows if she understood or not.
Cloud Eagle knew he couldn't outrun the wolves with his speed. As the wolf pack hesitated for a brief moment, they immediately launched another assault.

A roar of engines echoed from behind.
Several riders appeared on the horizon, led by a makeshift wilderness motorcycle, while others rode lizards or large-footed birds as mounts, each of them wielding hefty machetes. They rushed in at high speed, colliding with the wolf pack, and with a single strike, sent multiple wolves flying.
Survivors shouted in excitement, "Elite Squad!"
This was the most elite force of the camp, consisting of top-notch warriors. Captain Lain, who died tragically, was one of the members of the Elite Squad, and the guy nicknamed "Bear" was one of the leaders of the Elite Squad.
Among these riders, the one leading them wasn't the giant Bear, but a sharp and short-haired young man. His nickname was "Wolf," the second team leader of the Elite Squad, also one of the top experts in the camp.
"Why did it turn out like this?" Wolf looked around, initially drawn to the body of the alpha wolf on the ground, then cast a somewhat strange look at Cloud Eagle and the nearby Ula, recognizing her, "Huangquan's? You killed this wolf? Where's that useless Lain?"
Cloud Eagle was still in shock but instinctively nodded, "They're all over the place, I don't know which one it is!"
This was a careless remark, but to the members of the Elite Squad, it sounded ironic. Each one of Huangquan's mercenaries was formidable and on par with the Elite Squad. Lain, one of the Elite Squad's members, was killed by Ula, while this young mercenary survived.
Wolf's face could hardly look good. He grunted coldly.
At that moment, a cunning rotten wolf tried to launch a sneak attack.
Wolf flung his machete, piercing the wolf's body, and then leaped from the rugged wilderness motorcycle, gliding over the wolf's corpse. He lifted the machete with his foot, held it firmly in his hand, and moved like a gust of wind through the wolf pack. Several lightning-fast flashes of the blade struck every rotten wolf that came into contact, chopping them down as if they were vegetables.
Impressive!
Was this the strength of the Elite Squad's leader?
Other members of the Elite Squad joined the battle, with one big guy bare-handedly holding a wolf's jaws, resisting its astonishing bite force, and tearing its mouth apart with brutal strength before tossing it aside like garbage.
The regular members of the Elite Squad were on par with Captain Lain.
The rotten wolf pack lost its alpha wolf command, and the Elite Squad's assault forced them to retreat, leaving only a dozen or so wolves with their tails between their legs.
"Mission accomplished!"
The Elite Squad's leader, Wolf, didn't bother to deal with Lain's body.
"Support other areas!"
The Elite Squad left.
Cloud Eagle's life was finally spared, and as he looked at the battlefield in shambles, he let out a long sigh.
This was too costly.
The rotten wolves, as mutant creatures, held little value. Besides their fur, which could be used for warmth, the other parts were entirely useless. They couldn't eat the rotten wolf meat; it was not only sour and rotten but also toxic. The camp suffered immense losses in this fierce battle, but they hardly gained anything substantial.
Cloud Eagle was panting as he ran to the Yellow Springs mercenaries. He cunningly took a puff of his cigarette, then burst into a barrage of complaints, "Damn, where were you hiding? I thought you were dead! Oh, you managed to find some gains, huh!"
Cloud Eagle's hunting rifle piqued the mercenaries' interest.
Such weapons were scarce within the camp, and it seemed like the kid picked it up during the battle. Additionally, Cloud Eagle had multiple injuries, indicating he had been through some fierce combat.
The Yellow Springs mercenaries were one of the most elite forces within the Black Flag camp. Losing even two members would have a significant impact on the camp. Seeing their bloodied appearance, it was evident they had experienced a fierce battle.
One of the mercenaries, looking through a pair of binoculars for a few seconds, immediately exclaimed, "This is not a wolf pack!"
If not a wolf pack, then what?
As everyone gazed towards the distant wilderness and gradually made out the figures, it appeared that it wasn't an animal horde but rather a convoy—a fast-approaching convoy.
"Oh, my God!"
"It's a Sweeping Squad!"
Someone cried out in fear.
The faces of Wolf, Mad Dog, and the mercenaries turned serious.
"These bastards were waiting for this opportunity all along?" Mad Dog stood up, "Black Flag camp suffered losses during the animal horde and is now being attacked by them. They really are clever! I can't help but praise them for their intelligence!"
Cloud Eagle didn't know what was happening.
But judging from the expressions of the camp's people and the mercenaries, it seemed like this situation was even more severe than the animal horde and possibly a life-and-death crisis!
What's going on?
One wave after another, will
