chapter 7 New Technique

chapter 7 New Technique

The civilians who lived in Tangie witnessed two single eye-opening big events during the daytime lately. One was the five-color glare shot into the sky and illuminated the gate of Tangie High School. It hinted a talented polymage came out, which cheered up them a little. The other was a terrorist attack official declared – a forbidden magic clashed Tangie High School from the sky. For the existence of automatic protective barrier magic, luckily, the raid failed.

The sound of movement of ‘Kirin’ even terrified the monsters in the Death Forest, and alerted the army in the locality. The forbidden magic was only seen in the large war, and was used in devastating the chief of the enemy armed forces usually. Which caused level 1 alarm of Tangie for a while and upper militaries heightened tension but calmed down by Alexander soon.

None of above Light knew. The only thing he cared about was his security issues, which had been settled now. Or rather, too much enough.

He was lying on the bed in his apartment and decided what he wanted to do next. While many darkwalkers were hiding in the corner nobody knew and ‘protected’ him from danger.

At that time, he didn’t really want to kill the black woman or Alexander. Just anger. Maybe in his all life his loathed thing was death threat. It had nothing to do with whether he died exactly, only about feelings. So he’s determined to teach them a lesson.

Just imagined if he showed a sign of the slightest weakness, the constant ‘testing manoeuvre’ would be sticky with him later. And he didn’t dare to neglect every attack from the darkness, who knew it’s true or just a testing?

He must be crazy if it came true.

So he delivered his the most powerful Jutsu – Kirin.

Actually, he didn’t shoot them straightly but aimed at the blank space around the two. And he believed Alexander had been on the level of Kage at least. Everything was gonna be okay even if Kirin hit him.

However, what he had done was a little beyond over he thought.

After it happened, he was put in house confinement immediately and was not allowed to meet anyone. Even the dinner was brought in from outside, luckily it’s nontoxic.

He felt like a homesick bird in captivity.

He needed much more strength to change that.

Of course, the Sharingan was powerful, but not enough. The Mangekyou Sharingan was whole point. Not to mentioned that there had the Rinnegan and Bloodline Encompassing(Kekkei Mōra) that surpassed much the ordinary Sharingan.

But all of this might were at an immeasurable cost.

The Mangekyou Sharingan was only awakened by the trauma suffered from witnessing the death of someone he loved. How disgusting and cruel its setting was! He would rather give it up.

He decided to change his tactics.

“Why couldn’t I take the Naruto’s route or the others’?”

Light had known his body was not the same as the Sasuke’s. The original owner hadn’t the elements of water, earth and wind, but he had. And he could cast the magic of this magical world, which had been confirmed in the last combat.

In other words, this body had the endless possibilities.

All right. He would do it.

For Sasuke, the most powerful jutsu was Kirin in the early stage, for Naruto, it’s, of course, the Rasengan and Sage Mode.

“OK! I’ll try it!”

He got up and outstretched right hand and focused the Chakra on the center of his palm.

“Spin and strength are the key.”

Light turned on his Sharingan to control the flowability of Chakra.

“If kakashi can do this, it’s no way I can’t.”

Gradually, an unstable, small spinning ball of Chakra appeared and held in his palm.

“Not much strength.”

He frowned at his production, not so satisfied.

Light didn’t know it’s good enough for a beginner to release the Rasengan. The effect he managed was enough to be called the genius’s behavior.

He tried it once again, Rasengan’s stability had improved a little.

Then he threw himself into the practice and was immersed in training. So was at midnight without realizing it. Light finally managed it.

A blue spinning ball of Chakra held in his palm after one failure by another. It’s stable and powerful he imaged.

Light let out a suffering sigh and collapsed on the bed for being exhausted.

“Too slowly.” He grumbled.

In fact, what he had done was an absolutely magical scene. No one could manage Rasengan in several hours. And the reason he thought it’s slow was that he was naturally magic. He could release many Jutsus without training and cast the earth magic by just twice gaze.

There would be lots of mages envy such a gift if they witnessed his behavior. They must pop out their eyes if they heard light’s words.

If Light was a slow mage, they would be turtles.

“The next one, Sage Mode.”

Actually, Light had no idea how to absorb natural energy. What he remembered was to meditate without any movements. Just in case, he cloned one shadow to keep himself from being a frog or something else strange.

He imitated the way of Naruto doing things, and began to meditate with cross-legged statue on the bed. A while later, he fell into sleep unconsciously.

He was too tired today. Not only he struggled with the black woman and cast Kirin, but also he spent too much time in Rasengan.

Light felt relieved all over and seemed to float in the air like as the wind.

So invigorated, so comfortable. He was like a fish swimming in the water, a bridge flying in the sky. It’s an unspoken sense of pleasure.

He seemed to see the whole Tangie city from a bird’s eye. The city was more big than he thought and the details of interior was really amazing. There were a few people making a deal along the street, lots of babies had been asleep, million lights in the bedroom windows.

……

“Wait! Wait! Wait!”

Light woke up from the unconsciousness abruptly.

“Am I not meditating in my room? How did I get out?”

Then he found himself floating in the air over the city.

“Wow, wow, wow … What’s the hell about this?”

Light was sure that he was unable to release any jutsus about flying or floating. So, what’s going on?

Then he found himself was in transparent state and hardly saw his own hands.

“Am I died? What happened to me?”

Just as he thought about this, he suddenly appeared in his bed room and found two ‘himself’ sat on the bed with cross-legged state.

His true form’s the corner of eyes emerged a yellow shadow like Naruto’s who was in Sage Mode. Two of both were on the regular breathing and peaceful, not quite like a dying situation.

The spirit out of body?

It occurred to him maybe that was being on himself.

He slowly floated at the side of himself and then noticed a strange powerful energy was drawn into his body.

Maybe it’s the natural energy, he thought.

Abruptly, his clone shadow shot open his eyes and was cautious at his spirit’s direction. Which shocked him a bit. And he was also curious about concealment of his spirit. Could himself see his spirit?

Although the Sharingan had been turned on, the clone shadow found none. The shadow had searched for something that alerted himself for a while but failed finally. Then the clone got back to the spot next to the true form with the suspicious expression.

“Looks like my spirit is invisible even in the special eyes.”

He chuckled to himself.

And it seemed he could appear anywhere he wanted.

So convenient and advantageous.

If there was something Light was curious, it would be the actual face of that black woman.

As he considered about it, he just appeared in a strange room instantly.

The room was sample and capacious. The furniture was better prepared than his but no other decorations. The windows and doors were shut up strictly.

The woman, as ever, was in all black dress, was lying on the black sofa. The mask had been removed from her face, overlying the table close to the woman.

Just as unreal as Light expected, the woman’s face was so exquisite that seemed to come from the anime. Her big eyes, sexy lips, flawless the contour of face had the magical attraction to people who visited her, seemingly without explanation.

In addition, she didn’t look like much older than him. Maybe even they were the same age.

She seemed to sink into a reverie with the gaze and expression remained the same.

For a while, she nearly sighed and then got up.

The woman walked into the bathroom tiredly, for the activities and combat had consumed her today. Then she turned on the shower, and began to get undressed.

At this time, Light retreated just to be polite or shy. He could pass through any substantialty at his spiritual state. He walked out of the door of bathroom slowly, persuading himself that he was a gentleman.

Yes, he was a gentleman everywhere and at every time.

“Hey! Nobody would know what I’ve done. What do that matter even I’m not a gentleman for a while?”

He nodded to himself, persuading himself to seize the chance in a lifetime moment.

As he was passing through the door, the entrance door of this house sounded.

“Dong, dong, dong.”

“Who’s that?” A voice replied from the bathroom with the sound of dressing.

“It’s me, Alexander.” An old voice came in response.

“Coming!”

The woman opened the door and walked toward the entrance as she wore her black mask. The door opened and the old man with frosty beard came in.

Two sat on the chairs opposite to each other.

“I’m sorry but I couldn’t wait tomorrow.” Alexander said.

“Never mind.” The black woman asked, “What has made you in such a hurry?”

“The stuff about that boy has been listed in the top secret.” Alexander tapped on the table next to the chair.

“Top secret?!” She was a little surprised. “But that he has five magical elements and can cast illusion are well-known. How to hide these information?”

The old man nodded, “I know. Except for that.”

The woman asked, “What about his mentor? It’s very important.”

The mentor was not only in charge of teaching, but also on surveillance.

Alexander looked at her eyes, “This is why I come here.”

The woman gave him back a suspicious gaze, “Come on! He has enough power to kill me. I don’t deserve to this genius.”

“Not quite.” Alexander shook his head, “You don’t have to lower yourself. You’re a genius too. He’s no match for you at all.”

The woman disagreed, “You didn’t get it.”

The old man was confused, “What …”

The woman continued, “He’s not an ordinary psychic, he’s a soldier. You know? He could gamble on his life at any time he wants.”

Alexander confessed what the woman said was right, “But not for us, just to the enemies.”

The woman kept on his words, “… as long as we don’t pretend to be his opponents.”

The old man smiled wryly, “Well, it’s not gonna happen again.”

The woman crossed her strong legs, “What’s the attitude at the top?”

“He should have been arrested originally according to the laws.” Alexander paused for a while, “But for the powerful magic’s sake, he’s supposed to stay in Tangie for observation.”

“Observation for what?” The woman smirked.

“You know.” The old man let out a long sigh, “The loyalty. We still don’t know his background and purpose. Maybe he is sent to us by the enemy as an inside spy.”

“The enemy wouldn’t be foolish enough to dispatch such a conspicuous genius for a spy. And his background doesn’t matter too. His eyes are exclusive.” She analyzed.

“But procedure is imperative.” Alexander shrugged.

After an interval, the woman asked, “What level do you think he reached?”

Paused for a moment, Alexander said, “Maybe 4th.”

The woman smiled with saying nothing.

“Am I wrong?” The old man rubbed his scalp. “What do you think of him?”

She shook, “I don’t know.”

Chatted for a next while, two ended the conversation.

Alexander stopped at the entrance, looking back at the directly of Light’s spirit for a moment.

“What’s the matter?” The woman wondered. She thought the headmaster had important stuff forgot to mention.

“No. Good night, Miss Rose.” The old man shook his head, leaving with the strange face.

Closed the door, the woman, oh no, Rose took off her mask tiredly.

“I’m bushed!”

She went into the bathroom again and was about to undress.

Light, who had been hiding in the corner, showed a nasty smile.

“So it is!”

At the moment that Rose unzipped, Light suddenly disappeared and then appeared in his room.

Then there was a wave of dizziness hit him.

He saw the clone shadow raised his hand above his own head, then found his spirit had returned into his body.

“Why are you hitting me?” He asked the clone shadow.

“The next natural energy you have absorbed is superfluous.” The clone explained.

Light guessed, “Was I gonna be a frog?”

“Yep!” After the words, the clone disappeared in a smoke.

Light got up and came to the mirror, then he found his eye shadow fade away slowly.

“Anyway, not bad.”
