"Should we invite your family?" Evelyn asks but it's very apparent that Leon was estranged from his family
"No, you know what those snakes would do if they find out about Collin."
"Then let's just invite my family then."
"Ok, There's still 2 months so they should have more than enough time to get here"
They start fleshing out the guest list. The final list was decided and they start planning more and more aspects of the party.
Each invitation was handwritten and sent off. Each second that passed was a second closer to a little boy's first birthday.
This party was significant, it was their child's first birthday and they couldn't afford to mess it up. Each and every aspect had to be perfect!

(Third Pov)
A young man in his teens was seen running through a large compound. His short golden hair danced wildly in the wind, his blue eyes sparkling with joy.
His feet making the lightest of sounds as he dances past a field filled with broken training dummies and targets.
He makes his way to a large house and slowly opens the door. Showing no sign of the excitement he had moments ago.
"Dad! There's a letter from Evelyn!"
"Let me see it!"
An older-looking man with short blonde hair and eyes the color of gold. His face was stoic but his eyes couldn't hold back the love and affection he had for his daughter.
He opens the letter and starts to read. His eyes slowly trace across the paper, the further down he goes the wider his eyes open.
Suprise and pure joy fill his face. It wasn't long before a radiant smile blooms on his face.
"Hahahaha! I have a grandson! Noah, get the shuttle ready, we are heading to Kassic city. Your sister's child is turning 1!"
Noah nods as he leaves the room, he brings out a odd looking phone and calls someone. After a few seconds, he requests a shuttle and hangs up.
He looks back at his dad's room and then looks off into the distance. In the direction of Kassic city.
"I hope you're doing okay, Evy"

(First pov)
My tiny hands are using all the strength they can muster to hold tight. My body is burning, my vision is spinning, I can feel my impending downfall.
But with a last burst of strength, I steady myself
Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
"Ya!"
My cry of victory sounds out as I stand for the first time. An extremely gratifying experience, after months of crawling, rolling, and trying to stand, I have done it.
"Oh, my baby's so smart!" My mother picks me up and tickles my nose
I was a fully grown adult, and yet I laugh when my nose is being tickled. But it's not all that bad considering I act like a normal baby.
But I had more on my mind.
After the incident with the intruders, there have been no trespassers, kidnappers, threats.
I think there's someone or a group protecting us, most likely the ones keeping us safe are the Crystallyn Organization.
Everything has been smooth sailing and I couldn't be happier.
"Ok, time to go to bed Collin" She tucks me in and kisses my forehead before leaving the room
The lights turn off as darkness invades my room. I wait for her footsteps get further away before i hear her open and close her door.
I roll onto my stomach and stretch my hands out in front of me. I crawl forward and touch one of the pillars with my right index finger.
I concentrate as I slowly pull my finger away
Small black crystals start to form and slowly, cm by cm, reach towards my finger.
I feel cooling energy being stirred inside me like a vortex, I stop the movement of energy and the crystals stop growing.
I reverse the flow of energy and the crystals dissipate into black particles. They float away and disappear leaving no trace of the crystals ever being there.
I had been doing this same practice for months. Slowly increasing the distance I'm letting the crystals grow each time.
I don't ever feel tired from it even if I practice it multiple times a day, but I would become irritable and irrational.
I can feel that my emotions are connected to my power but it's not something I'm willing to test after the bookshelf incident.
I practice the same routine another 20 times before I drift to sleep.
__________________________________________________________
I wake up and I look around the room, there's some shuffling and movement. I look around and I see that it's almost 11:30 am.
"Ma! Pa!" I cry out in an attempt to get their attention, I hear people stop moving, and then someone walks hurriedly to my door.
I start to circulate my energy and prepare to attack if its a enemy walking through my door.
No matter how unlikely that the Crystallyn Organization would let anything slip into my house, it's not impossible.
The door slowly opens and I sigh in relief seeing it's my mother. I dissipate the crystals before she reaches my crib. She picks me up and cradles me in her arms.
"Good morning sweetie" Her smile is almost uncontainable and she is radiating an aura of happiness.
"Come on, let's get you changed." She starts to change my diapers and then proceeds to bring out a Black robe, highlighted with blue and white accents.
I don't struggle as I look at her confused and dazed.
So much was happening and I had no idea why.
She manages to get me dressed and then carries me downstairs.
"Ma?" She looks at me and smiles. Her silence makes me even more confused. We walk down the hallway and reach the stairs.
She pauses, covers my eyes, and says, "Don't look yet"
I keep my eyes closed and I feel the rhythmic steps of going down the stairs
Step Step Step
Never had the stairs felt so long, each step felt like it caused a ripple in the darkness
Step step step
We continue and soon we reach the final step.
"Open your eyes sweety"
I open my eyes, the light splitting the darkness as I see an astonishing sight
"""Happy Birthday!"""
A loud cry of happy birthday rings out and I could barely process it. My eyes take in the Black, White, Blue decorations. The room filled with people, some I recognize, some totally unfamiliar.
Cheers ring out from the people in the room as they watch my stunned mind slowly process something.
My first birthday in 5 years with a family.
Before I died, I had been on the run. Running from the government or mercenaries. Running for my life and fighting for my freedom.
The sight of a cake, candles, and joyous people was so unfamiliar to me.
Something so small as a birthday would be ingrained in my mind for the rest of my life.
Before I could process everything my father leads a kind-looking old man and a young teen away from the group. They approach me and my mother.
The old man reaches me first. He stretches his hand out and ruffles my hair.
"Hello Collin, I'm your grandfather. This is Uncle Noah"
The young teen reaches out and pinches my cheek before my grandfather shoos him away.
"Granda!" I try to say grandpa as a greeting to someone I had never seen before in my life.
And like cherry blossoms in spring, his face blooms a charming and radiant smile as he starts bragging to the people that were now crowded around us.
