Chapter 1: The beginning

In a dark space, a dark environment, a life regained it's consciousness.

Celm's eyes flickered open and regained its life, but all he saw was darkness... Thick suffocating darkness. Celm’s gaze fell to the blood-soaked ground. Above, gray clouds emitted a dim light, while towering trees swayed, their branches blocking what little light remained.

Celm who just woke up, feeling dazed, celm’s mind scrambled to make sense of the situation, his thoughts slipping through the fog of confusion like sand through fingers. "Where am i?" he muttered, the words barely more than a whisper. "Ouch, my back so stiff, where am i?, I can't see anything." Celm forehead suddenly frowns with frustration and disbelief, Celm lips flattened.

After thinking for a while, Celm finally got his thoughts under control, and tries to calm his breathing, his anxiety slowly fades away along with his difficult condition.

Celm pondered for a moment "this place, gives me a sinister feeling." a moment of silence surrounded him aswell as relentless feel of being observe.

"This feeling... It gets getting worse" Celm develops a sense of dread that surrounds the environment, the rustling of leaves becomes eerie, the sky slowly loses its dim light.

A shadoly figure shaped like a dragon slowly emerged in the sky above, it's silent roars, made the leaves tremble and fall, at the same time Celm thoughts becomes ravings. Celm thoughts began to scream uncontrollably.

Celm started to feel a sense of nostalgia, a subtle feeling of memory began to fade in, but the same time other memories becomes more distant than before.

Celm only regained the memories of this place, he tilted his head and parted his lips in confusion, he muttered to himself. "So the original owner of this body is dead and was killed by a monster?"

Celm looked at the shadowy dragon figure above the sky and pondered. "Don't tell me... that guy is the one who killed this body." A shiver ran down Celm’s spine as his hands trembled uncontrollably, his legs refusing to move as fear rooted him to the spot.

"Is this some kind of nightmare?... Is this some kind of punishment or something?" Celm pondered. While looking up the shadowy figure above the grey clouds, the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, an instinctive reaction to the unseen danger.

Celm observe that his thoughts are making his condition worsen, he took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm despite the overwhelming fear. His thoughts cleared as resolve hardened within him.

Celm took a glance at his surroundings environment. The towering trees began to outline slowly cleansing the pitch-black fog, the blood-soaked earth began to show aswell.

Celm clenched his fist and shot a glare at the shadowy figure above the dark-grey clouds."I just got teleported here, I refused to die now, I need to survive, and find answers." Celm shouted, his voice echoed through the dark surroundings, his voice overlaps the rustling leaves and the loud creaking of tree branches.

Celm voice, slowly fades out, the sound rustling and creaking, came back with the sinister silence. Celm pondered for a moment "I need answers, but where do I start looking in this Forsaken place?" .

After a moment of thoughts, Celm came to a conclusion. "I, a human being, a miserable Bastards consumed by endless sins, deserves to live in fear, that certain fear is the insanity that drives fools to chase the never ending end." A spark of determination traveled throughout his body, his heart began to race, and immediately calm his heart to further adapt to the situation.

Celm steadying his breath, he immediately search his body for something. Celm’s hands roamed over his body, urgency and frustration tightening in his chest. His fingers traced the contours of his clothing and armor,searching for anything that might offer a glimmer of hope.The cold, damp fabric felt alien against his skin, and every movement seem pointless.

His heart raced as he fumbled through pockets and examined the seams of his clothing, a growing desperation stacking with each empty search. His hands and finger slowly trembled, making his sense of urgency worse. The feeling of anxiety slowly surrounds him, a constant reminder of the dragon's presence.

Internally, Celm wrestled with a rising tide of self-doubt. His mind questioned his own resourcefulness and decision-making. "Am I missing something obvious?" he wondered, feeling a sense of guilt for not being better prepared. The thought of failing in such a critical moment eating at him, feeding his frustration and heightening his anxiety.

Each failed attempt to find something useful added to his growing dread. The darkness around him seemed to close in tighter, and the sense of isolation deepened. "What if there's nothing ? What if I'm doomed?” These thoughts raced through his mind, making his feeling of vulnerability much more worse.

Despite the mounting anxiety and frustration, a flicker of determination persisted. “I have to find something. Anything,” he resolved, pushing through the self-doubt and frustration. His movements became a blend of hope and desperation as he clung to the possibility that something, no matter how small, might turn the tide in his favor.

Just as Celm was ready to quit up, his fingertips came into contact with something unexpected. His pulse skipped a beat when he removed a little, worn item from a concealed pocket.

It was a necklace, finely carved with ancient markings that appeared to glimmer softly in the low light. The pendant pulsated with an unusual, warm energy, as if it were alive. Celm focused on the pendant, his mind whirling. "What's this? Could this be my ticket to survival? Should I gamble my life? " Seeing the mystery jewelry filled him with both hope and anxiety. The pendant pulsed again, a strange warmth spreading through his fingers. Celm looked up, the shadow of the dragon closing in. This... this might be his only chance.
