Hi, my name is Roy and  am just your Average everyday teen, my hobbies are playing fantasy games and reading light novels, you must be wondering 'Hey Roy, why the sudden introduction?' well that is because I have died, yep you see that bloody lump in the middle of the street, yea thats me or was me before i died. I was just on my way home waiting on the crosswalk light to turn green, i was practically bouncing in place in anticipation of a new game that i bought but sadly it will never be played and to forever rot in my room to never be played and it’s all because i had to be pushed by some guy in a green hoody who seemed to be in a rush. I mean come on WHY??!! why now of all times what you couldn't have slowed down for a second, what did you do rob a store or something. That was the last thing I saw before Blackness.

I had been sitting or standing, I can't really tell, in this black vod for what felt like hours ,but in reality it was probably just a few second, before I finally caught glips of a light so I made the decision to go towards the light. It only took a few moment before the light expanded all around me and I was jolted up from my position.

I look around the white space for a moment before i hear a soft chuckling sound from behind me. I quickly spin around just to see a beautiful girl with long black hair going down to her waist and dark blue eyes that have a hint a gold in them and if I had to take a guess I would say she was at least 5'6 if not 5'7.

"OH YAY!! you're finally awake i had been waiting for like hours for you to wake up you know" she stated excitedly

"?? and you are?" I asked the girl

"HeHe, my name is Addressia and I am the Goddess of light in the world of Drestia and you Roy have died and will be reincarnated in this world."

"Goddess of light? Drestia?  can you explain a bit more for me please"

"Hmhm, where do I start?" *Pam* she slams her fist into her her palm "Ah I know ill start with the world first, this world is called Drestia and it is what you would call a sword and magic world and it has a different system than your world which has no system in this world there is  concept of levels, and there are elves, dwarves, humans, beastkin or demihuman, but be careful because there are some dangers like the Demon race and the many monsters that roam the world, whether it be known or unknown there will always be danger around the corner."

"I see and i'm supposed to survive in this world? with what i have no useful skill and im only about average in smarts within all my peers. So how could i possibly survive?" I say slightly worried about my life from now on but still excited at the concept of magic AND levels.

"Worry not for I will give you one skill of your  choosing and my blessing"

"hmmm i see and what are the benefits of your blessing if you don't mind me asking milady."

"Just Addressia is fine. and my blessing gives you the language comprehension skill automatically and the appraisal skill which is very useful since there are very few people who have an appraisal ability."

"oh well that sounds cool, hmm then for my ability i want the skill to take other people's skills."

"oh that sounds interesting and it may be fun to watch you travel so sure." Addressia walks up to me and kisses me on the forehead, a slight warmth slightly slowly goes through my body before stopping when the Goddess separates from me.

"so will i be reincarnated into a baby or just put somewhere on the planet?"

"hmmm the 2nd option sounds more fun to me so let's go with that so for now byeee."

Addressia waves and blackness comes over me again.
