Grim's Tale was a revolutionary game made by SunSet Studios. It’s revolutionary part was it’s new technology, virtual reality. It was extremely realistic and because of that, a mass success. 400 million copies were sold on it’s first day and the beta players were already in love with it.

When Xavier got the game for his b-day, he was mad with joy. A few hours later, he started playing. He put on the face mask and turned on the game.

"Hello, welcome to Grim's Tale! Please model and name your character," the game voice said.

A god does not need a beautiful face to be strong..." Xavier muttered.

He chose the "Choose Real Face" option and went on to the name section.

"Hmm... Humans are calling me Thunderous Wierdo lately, I suppose its a grand name here."

He then continued on to the "start playing" button. A few seconds later, he was teleported to a portal platform, in front of a huge city. Ignoring every other player, he walked to the mayor's office, standing tall on the other side of the street. However, before he could reach there, a surrepticious voice called him into a back alley.

"Hey kid, come here. I have a job for you."

"And why should get near you, human?" Xavier replied in a mocking tone.

"Perfect, a normal one, who has enough common sense not to go into a dark, back alley with a wierd guy in it. He should be able to do the job. Don't worry, kid, I have a good offer." Actually, you have a different aura, that's why I chose you, the voice thought.

Xavier slowly approached the man, who wasn't showing any malice in his voice. Immediately, a text screen appeared before him.

New Quest!

Quest Name: A Different One... Quest Difficulty: Unique

The mysterious old man has shown interest in you! Go to the Old Man's Cave and defeat all the monters there. Show the old man your worth and you could get a special reward!

Quest Failure Conditions: Dissapoint the old man

Quest Success Conditions: Satisfy the old man

Quest Rewards: ???

Do you accept the quest? Y/N

" Hah! A mere human trying to make me show my strength? Foolishness!"

Xavier willed the answer "No" and walked away. The voice, obviously shooken, cried out in surprise.

"Seriously, how could you not accept it! It's a Unique quest! Could you please reconsider?"

"Absolutely not! You foolish humans think you can lure me? Why, if you could, I wouldn't be called "King of the Gods" at all!

"Well, I didn't want to do this, but I don't think you are going to say yes otherwise."

The mysterious voice chanted a spell-like phrase, moving towards Xavier. Suddenly, Xavier was thrown unconcious, falling to the ground like a rock. When he woke up, the system informed him:

You have accepted the quest: A Different One...!

You were forced asleep by a spell, rendering you uncouncious. The spell caster has bestowed a blessing upon you, probably by pity.

You have recieved the blessing: Blessing of the Lucky One

Blessing of the Lucky One bestows you with X+1 Luck. (X is the player with the highest Luck stat)

"That blasted magic person enchanted me! Oh, you will pay, by my bolts you will!"
