At the dawn of time, powerful beings used to rule the lands of Primeria. They were the Primordials, who had unimaginable powers in their hands. Some were even capable of changing the terrain of a continent with a single stomp of their feet and bend laws of the world on their whim. But alas, no creature is immortal and their reign soon came to an end. The end of this era, which came to be known as the Primordial Era or the Era of Origin, gave birth to a new beginning. A new era. The Era of Gods.

Gods. Beings made out of the essence of the world. Each god represented an essence or in some cases multiple ones. For example, the essence of Fire gave birth to the God of Fire, Rakh. The essence of Life gave birth to the Goddess of Life, Iris. Among them, nine gods who were the strongest of them all, used their divine essence and created nine species to inhabit the lands of Primeria.
