At the age of four, his parents finally allowed him to leave the house. Before letting him go, they reminded him not to leave the village borders, as it could be dangerous. They opened the door, and for the first time, Kito was dazzled by the outside world.
At first glance, it looked like his old world. Around the house, grass, fertile fields, and a dense forest, as well as a few houses in the distance. "Finally, I can explore the world!" he thought.
After four years of being locked up, his desire to discover this new world was very strong. So he decided to explore the surroundings of his house. However, his parents had firmly warned him not to venture into the forest for the time being: "There are monsters inside the forest. They're not very strong for someone like your father, but for you, they're like dragons, much more powerful than you are."
From what he understood, in this world, monsters existed. They were endowed with magic, just like this world, and had a crystal inside them. It was these crystals that gave them their power and were of great importance to the humans of this world, as they allowed the creation of many valuable objects.
"Off I go, it's time to explore the fields around the house!" thought Kito, full of enthusiasm. However, after several hours of exploration, he stopped to think. "Well, there's really nothing interesting around here. My parents forbade me to enter the forest, but they didn't say anything about getting close to it! I should go take a look."
So Kito headed towards the mysterious forest, which seemed to stretch as far as the eye could see. The majestic and immense trees undoubtedly sheltered various forms of life and concealed dark secrets, as evidenced by the aura emanating from them. Absorbed in his thoughts, he didn't notice that the sun was beginning to set.
"It's time for me to go home!" Kito thought as he realized the sun was setting on the horizon. On the way back, he thought about all the activities he could now undertake outside.
"There you are at last!" his mother exclaimed as he crossed the threshold of the house. "We've started to worry, it's been hours since you left!"
"I'm sorry, Mom, it's my first time going out, I didn't see the time pass!" Kito apologized.
"Ah, that's my son!" his father intervened with a smile. "When I was young, I could spend hours outside without seeing the time go by!"
"You're not necessarily the best example to follow, I remind you," his mother replied, slightly annoyed.
"Don't worry, I'm fine, and there's no danger in the fields, so you don't have to worry!" Kito assured.
"You know, Kito, this world is not a safe place. A monster attack could very well happen in our village," his mother warned.
The atmosphere gradually relaxed, and Kito decided to return to his room to train. Since he could walk, he had decided to start a basic training regimen that would help him develop his body a little faster. His program included some strength training, flexibility, and meditation. The latter discipline was his weak point, as many thoughts assailed him when he practiced it. However, he attached great importance to this exercise, convinced that one day it could be beneficial to him and might even save his life!

After this first outing outside, Kito finally decided to choose the magical element that would suit him best. A few months earlier, Kito had discovered an amazing feature in his interface: he was offered to unlock an affinity with a magical element. Among the possible choices were Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind. At that time, he hesitated and had many questions: were there other elements? Would he be limited to a single element for his whole life? Would he never have the opportunity to choose another one?
After months of reflection and his first outing outside, Kito had finally made his decision. "I choose Earth," he announced confidently. "You have selected the Earth element. Congratulations! You now have an affinity with the Earth element! Maximize this affinity."
Without further ado, he allocated his attribute points, thus outlining his plan for the coming months.

Kito was excited to try and feel the new Earth magic he had unlocked. He had spent months thinking before making this decision, and he was eager to see what he could do with this affinity. He settled in the center of his room, closed his eyes, and began to concentrate. Kito tried to connect with the Earth element, to feel its presence around him. He took a deep breath, visualizing the earth beneath his feet and the forces that composed it.
At first, nothing happened. Kito felt a bit frustrated, but he remembered that patience was a virtue and he wouldn't master this magic in an instant. Moreover, his affinity was at the lowest rank. He continued to focus, trying to feel the earth surrounding him. After some time, Kito began to feel something. It was a subtle sensation, almost like a slight tingling in his feet. He focused more on this feeling, seeking to amplify it.
Gradually, the tingling became more and more intense, and Kito could feel a connection with the Earth he had never felt before.
Now that he had felt this sensation, he tried to understand how it worked. He focused on the feeling and tried to amplify it to produce an effect. However, this proved to be more difficult than he had imagined. His attempts were fruitless, and he began to tire.
Despite the fatigue, Kito continued to try. He knew he couldn't give up so easily, especially after having spent so much time choosing his element. Through perseverance, a new window appeared before him:
"Congratulations, you have unlocked your first skill: Manipulation (Earth). This skill allows you to manipulate solid elements. Be careful, each element, depending on its characteristics such as density, size, or resistance, will require different mana usage. Your affinity will also play a role."
Happy and exhausted, Kito collapsed on the floor. He had spent hours trying to understand and master Earth magic before finally succeeding. Somehow, he lay down on the bed and fell asleep immediately. Although his evening had been exhausting, the next day would be even more challenging.
