"Between Pages and Paths"

(Issac Pov)

After exiting the taxi, Issac found himself surrounded by the familiar atmosphere of the city. The urban landscape, with its towering buildings and bustling streets.

Reaching his apartment, Issac couldn't shake off the lingering mysteries. The encounter with the dragon.

As Issac rang the doorbell, it immediately swung open, and a man named Ken greeted him with a warm smile. "Young master," Ken said, "How was the training?" Issac nodded, a mysterious glint in his eyes, replying, "Fun and full of mysteries."

Issac went inside the bathroom, took a refreshing shower, and afterward, donned a comfortable T-shirt and shorts. He relaxed, watching the news while Ken prepared some food. "Young master," Ken inquired, "are you ready for the academy?"

"Yes, but I'm heading to the city library to research some people," Issac replied. He asked Ken to search for information about the organization called Seeker on the laptop. "Tomorrow, I'll be spending the day at the library," he added.

Ken nodded in acknowledgment, although he seemed to have an unspoken question. Despite the curiosity, he continued with his cooking, leaving the unsaid words hanging in the air.

As Issac watched the news, a report caught his attention. It detailed a gruesome incident at the Jikasu Museum involving three demon contractors who had inflicted harm on humans. Fortunately, the Lotus Guild intervened, saving the day. The incident raised numerous questions in Issac's mind about the nature of demon contractors and the role of organizations like the Lotus Guild in dealing with such threats.

He pressed the remote control button, and a news segment began discussing the attendance of nobles, including those from affluent families like the Roses, at Azeroth Academy. The names were mentioned, but Issac switched to a different channel, not particularly interested in the aristocratic affairs.

He put on a romance movie and smiled, expressing his liking for it. Issac then asked Ken to bring all the seasons and movies for "The Heart of Gohan," a series he was currently watching, and also requested some popcorn for the movie night.

As he was watching the movie, suddenly Ken announced that the food was ready. Issac enjoyed the meal, particularly the meat. Curious, he asked Ken how he managed to get such meat. Ken sighed and replied, "I just hunted it while you were at training."

"Goodnight, Issac," Ken said as Issac headed to his room. When he entered, he found Alex Banner and Aurora Flare peacefully sleeping in his bed. Smirking at the sight, Issac quietly slipped into bed, ready to rest after the day's adventures.

In the morning, Issac was awakened by the sunlight streaming into his room, and he noticed that Aurora Flare was also rousing from her slumber. Issac questioned, "Is Aurora Flare a he or she?" The fox spirit responded by licking Issac, and its seven tails glowed. Issac sighed, "I guess I'll know when the time is right."

As he made his way to the hall, Ken was already brewing tea. Issac greeted him with a "Good morning, Ken." When Ken mentioned breakfast, Issac declined, opting to have tea first, expressing his preference to eat at a nice restaurant later. Ken nodded understandingly, acknowledging Issac's reasons.

"Wow," said Issac, "okay, pack that in my bag." Ken replied, "I just want to know how did you acquire a spirit?"

"Damn," Issac cursed, "I forgot to tell Ken. Okay, I'll just come up with something."

"Damn," Issac cursed, "I forgot to tell Ken. Okay, I'll just come up with something."

Issac replied quickly, thinking on his feet. "I found Aurora Flare in the Everforest. It was like a wild spirit, and I managed to form a bond with it."

"Now, Issac packed his bag and headed outside. In the garden, he found a restaurant where he ordered some food—fish, goblin head (which he skipped), and orc meat. After a satisfying meal, he stepped out, booked a taxi with his watch from Ken, and was instructed to go to the city library.

As Issac entered the library, the bustling atmosphere overwhelmed him. The vast space was filled with countless shelves of books, and people were scattered throughout, engrossed in various studies. The library boasted different sections, each guarded by individuals in a popular military-style uniform.

Approaching the reception, Issac inquired about the sections he needed: geography, history, and current affairs. The librarian kindly directed him, instructing him to go right and take the stairs. Geology would be on the same floor, followed by the history section adjacent to it. Issac followed the instructions, navigating through the maze of knowledge that the library held.

Issac immersed himself in the pages of books for a solid six hours, absorbing the intricacies of the colossal world he now inhabited. It wasn't just vast; it was an expansive canvas painted with monsters and diverse landscapes. The human domain, he learned, was divided into four distinct parts, each under the rule of noble families. The complexity of their interactions and the unique influences they wielded unfolded before Issac's eyes, revealing a tapestry of power and intrigue that fascinated him to no end.

The first human dominion, located to the east, was ruled by the Morning Blade family.

The second dominion, situated to the west, was governed by the Banner family.

The third dominion, located in the south, was governed by the Rose family.

The fourth dominion, situated in the north, was ruled by the Ken Star family.

Additionally, various races, such as barbarians, elves, and dwarves, allied with humans. On the other hand, vampire monsters formed an alliance with demons. This led to coordinated attacks from the demon empire and vampires on the human territories, while elves and dwarves engaged in conquering other areas.

As Alex took the report and began reading about the Seeker organization, Issac observed that they were not the only organization of their kind. There was another group related to demon contractors, but Issac simply shrugged it off and delved into the details of the report.

"Ah, sorry, I don't know," Issac said apologetically. "Maybe you can ask somebody else?"

But suddenly, Aurora Flare swooshed right into Alex's stomach. "Oh, you're awake from your slumber," said Issac to the fox spirit, which now looked majestic. The woman was surprised and asked, "What kind of spirit is this?" Issac replied, "Guardian, tamed just in the forest." "Okay," the woman replied.

Thanks, said the women.

"You're welcome," Issac replied as the woman went on her way.

"Issac began to read more books and some history, but suddenly, he found himself immersed in a romance novel, which had become his favorite genre."

"After reading, Issac went outside the library, and as he walked along his path, he stumbled upon the same girl. The girl looked surprised, as did Issac. 'Hello,' said the woman. 'Hello,' said Issac, and he continued on a different path."
