(I labeled this as Mature because I am not sure where I will be going with this later.)
Belinda Odessa felt the arrow pierce through her skull, her body grew numb as she fell to the ground. Belinda felt the air escape her longs as she could no longer breath. She was now dead. Her corpse lay on the ground for 27 minutes. Suddenly the arrow fell out from her head as though a force was pushing it.
The arrow was covered in her blood. The wounds from the arrow began to close, and once they finished, air sudden returned to her lungs. Belinda breathed in heavily, stood up and looked at the arrow that had been lagged into her skull just minutes ago. She then looked at her watch, the last thing she saw was the time 12:32 before she had died. Her watch now showed the time 1:00. “Wait a minute, I have been lying here in the street for 27 minutes.” She said out loud to herself. Suddenly the memory of the arrow going through her skull replayed in her mind. “No! I am wrong, I have not been lying here, I have been dead for 27 minutes!” Her word with a tone of shock in them.
Belinda looked at her watch again and noticed the date. Sunday September 26 2021. Belinda’s memories only went up to two days before this date. She could not for the life of her remember what she had been doing for these past two days. The only thing about today that Belinda could remember was the arrow being shot at her.
Belinda began walking home to her apartment, as she did something felt strange, her chest felt lighter. She ignored this feeling for now. Once Belinda reached her appointment’s location she was greeted by her neighbors like always. She turned her apartment key into the door handle and opened the door. Belinda needed to use the washroom, but something felt different. She entered the washroom, closed the door, dropped her pants and sat down. Sitting she looked down at her genitalia, it was male. Belinda let out a scream. She still needed to use the washroom so she finished with that. Quickly Belinda pulled up her pants and washed her hands.
Belinda went to her bedroom and looked into her mirror. The face she saw was not the one she was accustomed to. Instead of her long red hair and dark brown eyes, what looked back at her was the face of a men a little taller than her, with bright blue eyes and a medium length dirty blond hair. A gasp escaped her lips.
Belinda thought about it for the next 8 hours. No one had seemed to notice she was now male aside from herself. “Why has this happened she wondered. Although at the moment she had stopped thinking of these things for now. It was time for her first episode. You see Belinda had landed a roll on one of her favorite cartoons. She was about to premier in her first episode as the voice of Maggie Simpson’s preschool teacher, it would be a recurring role for about half of this season. She entered the number on her television remote for the fox channel. This did not make any sense the channel was nothing but static. The channel before was still working.
Belinda went onto her laptop and searched the word fox. The only result she got was about the animal and not the television station. “Why is it not showing up?” She asked herself. Belinda went to get up and hit the side of her leg against her chair. A metallic sound was heard when the chair hit her pocket.

Belinda reached into her pocket and pulled out some sort of metal card. This card was light as aluminum but the sound it made seemed to be a much harder metal. The word Eternal was engraved into it as well as the number 13 which was passing through what appeared to be a mobius strip. Belinda placed the diamond ring she was wearing against the card. She wanted to see if she could engrave onto it as well. The diamond shattered as she attempted this. “That is impossible!” The sense of disbelief in her words seemed almost unreal.
Belinda tried searching up the word and symbol on the card. She looked at the screen. Did you mean Chronicles Of The Eternal chapter 13. She clicked to see what that was it seemed to lead to a sight with to novels writing online, one with the same title the other one was called End Online. No of the results gave her any clue to what the card meant.
Every thing about this day seemed way to weird for Belinda Odessa. First she was killed and did not even no why, add to that she had came back from the dead. Then her body was not her own yet no one even noticed. The Fox channel no longer seemed to exist, and to top it all off there was this card, light as aluminum yet harder then diamond. Belinda went outside to get some fresh air. She stared at this card, the clouds in the sky cleared as she sat there, reveling the stars. The starlight made the card shimmer a radiant green, suddenly another word appeared onto the card in the same color as the stars. It read initiate.
“Why do I have this card?” Belinda asked herself again and again but could not come up with an answer. Belinda checked her bank account online. She had still been paid the same amount she would have been, if she was staring in that role in the Simpsons. This also did not make any sense to her.
Belinda thought about her brother who had died five months ago. He had loved this sort of stuff. He had watched all sorts of science fiction shows, and read many books relating to that topic. If only he was here now. She thought to herself.
Belinda went to bed, with to much on her mind she needed to sleep. When she woke up she looked in the mirror. Still in front of her was the male face she had seen the day before. Stepping outside she was greeted like she always was. No one was noticing she was now a male.
Belinda retraced her steps back to the alleyway she had died at. The arrow was now gone. “Good you are ready to get back to work.” A male voice from behind her stated. Belinda turned around and seen a man in a parka. “What do you mean back to work?” Belinda asked the man.
“Great! you do not remember.” The man in the parka said slightly annoyed. “You still have your work card, do you not?” The man in the parka questioned Belinda. “Do you mean this.” Belinda asked as she pulled out the card. “Yes, that is the one.” The man in the park smiled as he acknowledged her with his answer. “We started working together two days ago.” The man in the parka told Belinda. “I am sorry, I do not remember anything from the pas two days.” She told him with respect. “ That is alright, I will let you keep the card, when you are ready to get back to work come find me.” These had been the last words spoken before the man in the parka walked away.
