Terreus
Every ARTS that is created on the Terreus requires the existence of shuk. There are many kinds of ARTS, and it is classified into 4 categories:
Manual ARTS- the most common type of ARTS, this ARTS is practiced by most of the realm's populace; others call it Military ARTS because it is publicly taught to people by the Imperial Arms.
Ancestral ARTS: Ancestral ARTS was created by clans or families to be utilized only by their members. This practice is mainly implemented by prestigious groups. An example of this is ARTS from the 9 families kept secret from the world. These families hold the highest authority on the imperial arms. Their ARTS are deemed powerful enough to save themselves in power for centuries.
Innate ARTS: Not much is known about this ARTS except that it is unique and can only be learned by the possessor of the ARTS. Only a minuscule amount of people can have Innate ARTS. Practitioners of Innate ARTS are treated as treasures by some countries. Innate ARTS is so rare that those people are hunted and used as experimental subjects; because of this, some possessors of the Innate arts can become irregular if not appropriately guided.
Ancient/Forbidden Arts: The origin of ARTS these ARTS was practiced by 11 powerful humans. It was created to protect the realm from the threat of the Sky Titans. According to Scholars, Currently, there are only 4 known Ancient ARTS: Spirit Cacophony that was created by the Wind Hermit, the Fool's Game, an innate ARTS that was used by Asinus, Earth-Splitter, a destructive ARTS that was perfected by the master of the Polus Familia, and lastly is the Golden Regis, the ARTS that can create thousands of soldiers, that was controlled by the Sovereign of Chrysos.
Nin wanted to know more about the secrets of the ARTS that was taught by his master. He was not sure where to categorize his master's ARTS. He only knows that his master sacrificed his own life to "begin" the Endless ARTS.
Before the Death of his Master, Nin was given something.
"Nin, my child........ for you to begin the ARTS that I taught you, you will need something to awaken your soul".
"what is it, is it...... another one of those weird tasting growth-spurt-tea" Nin replied with a sour-looking face.
Caelum kicked Nin, it was strong enough to leave a mark on Nin's face, " No!!!, you idiot of a disciple ............. this is an important process yet you are still able to make a joke".
"Acckk..... my face what's wrong with you master, telling something important then, kicking the hell out of my face".
After Nin Replied, the mood of the conversation suddenly turned down; it was serious.
"LISTEN !!! Nin, I taught you the basics of my ARTS but, what you need to continue, no, what you need to survive is the...... combination of.........my soul and core".
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Nin was shocked, "what are you saying.... master? what do you mean by your soul and core? ".
Caelum just sat there and listened to Nin's tantrums. While wearing a melancholic expression.
" you.....you... taught me that a person will cease to exist if the soul is removed."
" if..... this is the price for some power then, I will not take it....I will practice basics again...again and again".
Nin was weeping through the pain; he could not process his emotions.
He felt every crushed soil on his sand, the grass on his feet, his own breath.
" you said that......you will wait for me, and that I will tell you the stories from my journey."
"YOU WILL DIE" Nin shouted. He did not notice that tears were already welling in his eyes.
Caelum slowly approached the child and hugged him.
" Nin..... There is no need for you to be sad...... there is no need for you to be afraid".
" Even when I'm gone, I will still exist within you, I'll still protect you ........death is just a part of our world; you need to be brave, child".
"journey through this world, and find people that you can depend, protect and fight with......... don't worry child for my Death is just the beginning of your life".
" I hope, Child, that you will not suffer anymore. I hope that you can find the happiness that you are longing for".
After Hearing those words, Nin instantly collapsed. This was caused by soul exhaustion; it happens when your emotions are unsteady and start uncontrollably consuming the shuk in your body.
A day passed, Caelum Prepared all his farewells and inheritance for his only disciple. Nin walked to the room; as he was about to enter, he felt a heavy pressure on his chest. He opened the door and saw his master sitting there with a smile on his face. Caelum smiled to hide his sadness, his fear seeing that his disciple's face was filled with sorrow.
"Remember Nin, you are precious to me; I want you to grow and venture into the world. I am already old; this will be my last wish and farewell, my end, and your beginning".
Nin listened to his master's word as he tried to hold back his tears.
" I will be giving you my staff, Scipio."
" As you go against the fate of the world, these three, soul-spirit, turquoise, azure, and crimson, will protect you."
" and lastly," as Caelum utter these words, he immediately removes a glowing white sphere from his body, and just by looking at it, you'll know that it is filled with a massive amount of shuk. He then requested Nin to sit in front of him. Nin was nervous as his master placed the sphere on his forehead. Nin immediately saw a series of memories. It seems that it was the memories of Caelum; he saw how Caelum trained and the cries of Caelum when his late master also did the ritual.
After a while, Nin Woke up and found Caelum's body dissipating. Caelum's long white hair and robe covering his thin arms started to vanish into whitish-green orbs.
Nin ran to his master. When he grabbed his arm, it felt that it was not there. Nin looked at his master's face, and he saw that his master was smiling. Nin saw a man that is proud and contented.
After his master was gone, it was silent. As he walked across the room, he remembered the sermons, the smiles, and the teaching of his master. It was painful, but he steeled himself. After cleaning the house, he immediately packed his baggage and moved out. He walked out the gate without looking back because he wanted to reciprocate and respect the happiness of his master.
After years of memories flooded his brain, Nin remembered that he was now alone. This 15-year boy is now filled with sadness and regret. Still, it was his decision. With his master's teaching and guidance, he only needs now to strengthen his will and focus on his journey.
