After countless years, the passage of time seems so insignificant. You've done this, done that, destroyed this, created that. It all seems to blend into one giant ball of boredom. That is the Reality Warper race. A race that has existed since the dawn of time, that could bend reality with just a thought. There were a lot of us at the start, maybe a couple of thousand? I couldn't really remember. All that I could remember is that over time, after creating so many worlds, almost all of us started feeling bored. Now, I'm sure you already know the rest, since you know...you've at LEAST read the prologue, right? You know, the one that told you what happened to my kind, with the tragicness and the downfall of my kind? Yeah, that one. If you haven't read it, then you're probably lost and should go back and read the time-forsaken thing! I spent the time writing it, so you should spend the time reading it.
Anyways, I'm getting off track. I tend to do that often, so sorry.
As my entire kind died off, I was the only one left. I traveled from planet to planet, seeing the creations of my kind, and even some others, that naturally formed by themselves, against all odds. Some races were galactic powerhouses, who conquered entire universes with their fleets, and some were primal, with the most intelligent life unable to communicate, even with themselves.
I'd live their lives for a while on each planet, just a little under 10,000 years each, nothing too much, then pack my bags and move to the next one. Some planets had their own energy properties as well, which I found interesting for a while. Some had something akin to a 'system' that consumed quite a few planets and gave them the power to grow and gain abilities. Some believed in 'cultivation' that could grant immortality, and powers beyond what a normal human could achieve. I also saw something called 'virtual reality' which allowed people to live in a seemingly different world! I've seen good ones and some rather subpar ones. I've seen a Glathicion become frozen inside of a virtual house because of a 'glitch' before. I found it funny, yet pitied him as he cried for help, so I altered reality a bit and fixed that up for him.

After that cycle, it still fascinated me, how every species worked. I would usually stick to the more intelligent species, just so nothing bad would happen. After all, when one of my kind altered reality to make him a single-celled organism, he...let's just say we couldn't get him back. I don't think I mentioned this yet, but some of the only things we couldn't do were destroy everything, create more of our kind, or something else on the same level of freezing time in all of creation forever. Basically, nothing that would kill all sentient life ever known, or make more Reality Warpers.
Now that I've explained it sufficiently in my opinion, I'll get into the main story that I'm sure you all want, instead of this dumb exposition and world-building, cause let's face it, nobody cares for THAT. Or is it? After all, I've just landed in the future where virtual reality is the new greatest and hip thing. I don't yet quite understand how your species of humans exist, but god are they both advanced and backward for their time. I mean, you can communicate with random face images and weird typings of letters! kinda reminds me of the Planet 'Carconcucunk', a planet mainly made up of reptillian-fish psychics, who communicated with emotion-based thoughts, that once was received, would then be unscrambled into words. They were a bit of a challenge to understand at first but I got it. Also, I do enjoy the challenge of NOT using my powers every time I get frustrated since that would make things too easy.
Sorry about that, got sidetracked once again! Well, into the main story...
Once upon a time, in a galaxy very very close...
