Entering the tower Peter was greeted with complete darkness. Peter started to panick. Thinking that he should have taken chance with the Feather. Frantically looking around searching for a way out but all he met was black. He realized he could see himself: His hands his legs, his body. But how?

'Oh shit a status screen,' Peter thought. All players received a status screen when entering the tower.

CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON

Icons of a shield and bow appeared on the status screen. The first floor is considered to be the tutorial floor. The tower giving weapons that are most suitable to those who challenge it. The more Icons the more suitable the item it is to them. On average one would receive four options to pick from. Players like Frenzy or Brilliance received dozens.
The shield was not an option that Peter would choose. To have a shield and battle a monster with it made Peter shiver. After encountering the Feather, he did not want to be close to another living monster if he had the choice.
The bow was the only option left.

BEGINNING TUTORIAL

The surrounding emptiness started to fade and started to reveal a lush forest of green. Trees surrounded him no matter where he looked. The sound of rustling leaves and the feeling of wind made him want to leave the tower even more. Everything felt so real.

The status screen went away and left leaving Peter alone in the Tower.
A wooden bow and quiver filled with arrows laid on the dirt. Kneeling, Peter awkwardly swung the quiver his shoulder and picked up the bow.
The bow was of wood and smooth to touch. Plucking on its string, it resisted his finger. It felt to sturdy for something from a tutorial.
Peter never used a bow before, 'How hard could it be?' He thought. looked at it and toyed at it, He nocked an arrow and drawed the bow. Aiming at a nearby tree, he loosened it. "Ah!" Peter yelled, the string catching onto his uniform. The arrow missing the tree entirely.
"Maybe i should have chosen the shield." Peter said while rubbing his chest.
Peter practiced firing arrows more while keeping his posture in mind. His following attempts were much more successful. Two hits and one miss. Attempting to fire another arrow he was interrupted by faint growling. He froze in place.
Peter dashed in the opposite direction from where the growling came from. Scared to see what a boar from the Tower would look like, Peter ran. Unfortunately, another boar came to view 30 meters in front of Peter, enjoying a patch of grass.
Peter stopped before he could alert the second one. He crouched behind a tree. Hiding now, he looked behind if the previous boar had followed. Only tall trees and dirt were found.
Peeking around the tree, he found the boar still eating. The boar seemed to be like any other large boar he had seen on the internet, only this one had a horn on its head and seemed to be as tall as a car.
'Chance!' He thought. He reached back for an arrow and drawn it on his bow. He had a chance, The boar unaware. Aiming for the boar, Peter fired.
Arrow hit the boar with a thump and it squealed. The arrow sunk into its most hind leg, but it did not stop it from moving. The boar galloped away. Peter frantically tried to reach for another arrow in his quiver before it got away.
Peter bounced onto his feet, chased after the injured boar. Finally grabbing an arrow he quickly fired it at the fleeing boar. The arrow whistled past it. The boar was gaining distance. HIs heart hammering faster, Peter went for another shot. His arms unsteady from running , he planted his feet and took his time. He loosened the arrow and the shot missed. The boar had escaped.
The boar vanished from view and Peter was now sitting on the ground panting for breath. 'Damn it all.' He cursed 'If I had hit it properly in the beginning.' Noise of galloping interrupted his rest .'The one from before.'
A boar was charging at Peter horn first. Peter quickly stood up and drawn his bow with an arrow in hand. The boar was still far so he took his time shot. The arrow flew in the air hitting the boar straight in the head. The arrow sinking all the way to the fletching.
The boars pace became slower and soon it fell onto the dirt with a thump.

Exhausted again, Peter fell onto the dirt. 'Well arent I lucky.' The killing arrow had hit the boar in the eye. He had time for more arrows if the first did not hit. But he did not know if the following ones would have killed it.
Soon more sounds of hooves on dirt could be heard. Peter did not need to look to know what it was. 'C'mon man!' Two boars were approaching him.
Peter started shooting arrows at one. The first arrow missed way above the intended target. The second hit the dirt before reaching the boar. They were getting closer and none were hit by arrows.
Peter ran for a tree. Hung his bow across his neck and jumped for the branches. Climbing up the growling and galloping became nerve wracking. Peter climbed not the tallest tree but it was tall enough to avoid the boars.
Leaning against the trunk, Peter grabbed his bow and loosed a few arrows at the boars. The boars now closer the shots became harder to miss. Rhythmically the arrows hit the first boar. One in its lower back then in the upper. It started to run but Peter hit it a third time. The second boar started to run but an arrow hit it in it hind leg.
By the time it was galloping Peter shot another arrow too far to the left, missing it.

Feeling recuperated from all the running, fighting, and climbing peter left the tree. He retreived three arrows back. The fourth was stuck in his first kill. He started following the trail of the injured boar. He did not have to travel far.
The boar was eating minding its own business, But was interrupted by an arrow to the chest. Galloping off dozens of meters until the boar itself collapsed.

'This is kinda easy.' Peter thought. Rumor was the success rate of those challenging the first floor. 'Must be easier since i chose a ranged weapon.'
Testing a theory Peter waited for the next running boar. He did not have to wait long. The next boar came charging at him with its horn. It charging at him it was an easy hit.
The boar getting hit it started to runaway. Peter then followed it and finished the job. If it didn't die and ran away again Peter would just follow it until it did. Peter did it until He finished killing the rest of the boars.
