Day 24 Entry: Hello. Unfortunately, I have not found the original Logbook, but I do have some exciting news. One of the tree subjects has grown a fruit overnight. I believe it's called an apple? I've never seen one before now, so I was very surprised when I found out that I was growing apple trees. After removing the fruit from the tree it took around half of the day to grow back. While some might compare it to watching paint dry, I was absolutely amazed at how fast the rate of growth was. It almost makes me think that what I'm doing here is going to make the world good again.

As an aside to the person reading this report at HQ, what do you want to do if things get better? If I get paid enough, I think I'll just have my own little compartment where I can stay for the rest of my life. No spouse, no kids, no family, just me. Maybe some books to read, some enrichment items, and houseplants. I know you can't respond, so I'll just have to guess whether or not you're judging my choices. Either way I know they're not going to pay me that much, but I sure can hope.
