Robby stared at the golden fireball in front of him with bubbling excitement. After reincarnating into a land of fantasy and magic...it was natural to painstakingly wait till the first sliver of magical power condensed inside of him. After that, one could begin training to become a Magician if they possess enough talent.
"In my past life...I was known as the Wandering Sword Saint. I devoted my entire life to completely comprehending the entirety of the my master's legacy. Unfortunately, the Qi of Heaven and Earth had already been sealed away...But! In this new land into which I reincarnated...the Qi of Heaven and Earth is as boundless and endless as it was back in the ancient times!"
Robby's concentration broke and the golden fireball dissipated much to his dismay. "Aw...even though I finally got it right on my tenth attempt-"
"You brat! Some would consider it lucky to even be able to use magic on their thousandth attempt! And here you are, complaining about barely getting it on your tenth?" Angelina, Robby's mother, said with a twitching eyebrow and a slight smile on her face. "Besides, for a Magician, concentration is even more important then your life."
"Break your concentration, and whatever spell or magic you are trying to use would be dissipated. Magicians of supreme power are capable of effortlessly doing what you are doing a thousands times and some! Don't let it go to your head." Angelina said, both for herself and her son. Arrogance was the reason that many young geniuses would die before they had the chance to blossom.
Like that they bantered and the day passed. Evening. Night had fallen and many had retreated to sleep. Robby lay in his bed, thinking.
"In this life...I possess a caring and loving mother. I possess...family!" Robby's eyes glazed with nostalgia. "In my previous life...my master had been my family. It was he, who had cared for me. It was he, who had raised me. It was he, who had given me his legacy."
"This world is even more mysterious and dangerous than my last. I need to become powerful! To protect what is mine...to life as I see fit!" At this moment, Robby's resolve had been strengthened. In his previous life, only his master had been his family. In this new life, he is experiencing familial love...most of which is that of a mother's love!

"The Nine Heaven's Scroll...Magician...With my master's legacy; the magical techniques and divine abilities he had passed onto me...in this life, I will rise to the top!" Robby made his decision. In his heart, a passionate flame of determination had burst into being.
It was also at this moment, that Robby's chest began to glow a bright golden color. Vaguely, the outline of a pagoda could be made out.
"This is...impossible!"

In the Eastern Land, a wild paradise in which there lay a majestic mountain whose peak pierced through the sky. At the very top, the entire Nine Cosmos could be seen within all of their glory.
It was on this peak, that a elderly grandpa sat staring at the starry sky with a nostalgic expression on his face.
"What!" The elderly grandpa suddenly moved quickly, his hands casting incantations at a quick speed. In a moment, a large white mist rolled out of his mouth and formed into a clear white pond. In this clear white pond, the image of a young boy could be seen.
This young boy was Robby!
"Impossible! How could...how could he be here!" Tears appeared at the edges of the old grandpa's eyes. "My disciple...my grandson! How! Just how could you have reincarnated into this land?"
"Hahaha!" The old grandpa boisterously laughed. "Boy, I am positive that you will discover the power of magic in this land. I will wait for you, wait for you to step onto the Immortal path. I shall wait for you!"
Roar!
At the side of the peak...a colossal black dragon could be seen! It stared at the old grandpa with confused eyes before killing intent burst out of it.
Boom!
Suddenly...a enormous booming sound resounded as a wave of killing intent spread throughout the entire Eastern Lands.
This enormous booming sound was the result of the colossal black dragon being thrown off the peak!
The old grandpa continued nonchalantly looking at the starry sky with wonder before smiling slightly. "Well, it does seem that I've dulled a bit in the past few decades that I have spent in the Eastern Lands. This is no good, no good at all. Barely at the Primordial stage...I've been procrastinating!"
