Treason

When you tuned into the newspapers of the country, all it talked about for the next 2 weeks was the search for the perpetrator of the assassination and of the funeral. Of course, the princess was but an innocent pawn in this grand political game, but the hero did not bother himself with games. Additionally, Hevel's plan did not include keeping the prince around.

Everything that could be provided has been provided. The prince now an empty bag, a broken tool. The hero did not think of this as parasitism, rather, it was more of a plain betrayal.

"...During the royal announcement this morning, his liege has stated that all conspirators of the assassination will be executed without trial, an unprecedented punishment in the history of the king..."

"What is this?"

"What?"

"This radio. I don't remember any princesses dying. Is this in England or something?"

"Ho, don't worry about it, it's just a little thing I found. Not sure what it spouts about, but it sure is interesting dr.■■■"

"Oh you can drop the formality, just call me ■■■"

"...Okay, ■■■. Now for today's topic... Can you tell me what a Cy-sto-ce-le is?"

"Huh, finally some urology. But to be honest, I actually prefer your usual questions"

"Well then, what do you think about backstabbing?"

"Betrayals? Bamboozelement?"

"Right on"

"Well..."

The prince and Hevel were back on the wagon, speeding away from the kingdom. Suddenly, Hevel stopped the horses in the middle of the road.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Without a word, Hevel kicked the prince out of the wagon, leaving him to the chasing knight hot on pursuit. Since his resurrection, he had destroyed two thorns from his sides as well as gained significant wealth from the prince.

"And that's what I think"

"Well, that's interesting. It almost sounds like you betrayed someone before"

"Heh, as if. Who would a boring urologist even betray? His patients?"
