World of Genys; It consists of two continents, which put together form an image of non-full eclipse.
The western continent, moon's cusp, is called Estrea.
Estrea is separated into three countries; two kingdoms, and one empire. The empre's name is 'Lotus Empire', which comes from the popular legend about it's creation.
In the legend, once the sailor, future first Emeror of Lotus Empire was involved together with others of the crew from their ship in a naval war in between two continents. As one can imagine, their ship got wrecked due to miss fire of human continent. Lotus ancestor got knocked out and thrown in to the water.
Next thing he knew, he was lying on a board of monster's ship, called Lotus, as he got to know later. Next starting from gaining trust of demi-humans, monster, demons and rare humans in Estrea to conquering the ocean in between the continents he started creating his own country; Lotus Empire, named by the ship on which he woke up.
Right now, Lotus Empire is the strongest country in Genys, it spans from one continent to another. The most famous about this empire is it's capital; The water city Lotus, built in the middle of an ocean in between the continents. The Imperial palace is built on the fabled ship Lotus. What's suprising, the lineage of the royal family in the Empire is mixed blood and allows to be ruled be either empress or emperor. In both cases, the children of the royal family are being brought up by non-ruling parent in a country-side, in order to make sure, their character is good.
The Estrea's kingdoms are considered to be sibling ones, due to the fact that their royal families are connected by blood; their ancestors were respectively brother and sister.
Southern Kingdom is called Erytrea, from the first queen, Northern is Daimos, again from brother's - first king's name. They're respectively matriarchy, and patriarchy.
In the past they were all part of one kingdom, however, the siblings, future king and queen started fighting over the crown. The country got split in two, which wasn't beneficial as at the same time there was a war against humans going on. In the end, the one that got the most out of it was the Lotus Empire, which got created in the middle, serving at the same time as the buffer zone in between the countries.
In Estrea - non-human continent, the currency is the Azure Scale, shaped like a dragon's scale, worth double the golden coin of human continent.
The afore mentioned human continent, being the round, eastern one is called Alamanthea, named after the supposed name of the first human, to exist.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Differently then Estrea, the Alamanthea is separated in two empires, and countless kingdoms, One of the Empires is the Lotus Empire.
The other one is called Derling Empire, no one knows who the emperor is or how old the empire is. The empire itself is a huge mystery, as not much about it gets outside, not even the currency is known. It has closed off borders all year long except few instances. One of the few things known is that the Derling Empire isn't on friendly terms with Lotus Empire.
Out of countless kingdoms the most important ones are Umbra Theocracy and Litrea Kingdom.
Umbra Theocracy, believes in the end of the world - 'End of the world is inevitable' and so on. Suprisingly, due to their beliefs, the Theocracy is pacifistic one. In the end it turns out that their religion is so popular, that from theocratic city-state, it turned into one of the four most powerfull countries in the continent. Their pope has absolute power in their country.
Litrea Kingdom, while powerful, it's king is incompetent, being a marionette to the military advisor. As one can imagine, it's completely opposite of Umbra Theocracy. It's expansion got stalled only the moment the countries around them issued an allied defense treaty, which was turned against the Kingdom. In actual times, the prince and the princess are both trying to deprive the military advisor of the power. The prince is known for power in politics, while the princess is known to be supported by the common and patriotic people.
The human continent's currency is Gold Coin. Regarding the currency, the Lotus Kingdom accepts both, but the usage depends on the individual.
Within the Genys, there exists several guilds, such as 'Adventurers Guild' or 'Merchants Guild'.
The common ranking for these Guilds are:
G, F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS
Usualy one starts from E, G is for those below 11 y.o. and F is for those below adulthood, that is below 16. There exists however several exeptions depending on the race.
Exept the guilds, there exists also several other big organisation, but they're not so important for now.
Since ancient times the world of Genys also possesses dungeons, in which non-conscious monsters, people and other being are appearing. They don't have souls and sometimes disappear after their deaths.
