Chapter 1

After giving me a name, we went out. I looked back and the building where I lived for a few days is really huge. Slave trading is a good business here huh?

“Gonna miss someone there?” Zarzex suddenly spoke.

“No.” Zarzex looked at me for a few seconds and replied “If you say so.”

“By the way, why did you buy me? Did that man named grog recommend me?” I’m curious. Why did this man buy me? Does he like little girls? If it is then I’m in danger. Even if I run, this guy will definitely catch up. After all, I’m a little girl right now and he’s a tall man. While I’m thinking things, Zarzex laughed.

“Bwahahaha! You think I have a thing for little girls? Grow some big breasts first and you’ll be in my strike zone.” So this guy is a fan of big breasts? Well that makes me feel relieved. Now if that wasn’t the reason, then why did he buy me?

“You’re probably thinking right now ‘if he isn’t after my body then why did he buy me?’ right? I can’t blame you. After all, we don’t know each other that much. Let’s talk while walking. I know you have a lot of questions you want to ask.” We started walking again. I need to know things about this world so I won’t hold back asking.

“What is this place?”  Zarzex looked at me as if he was surprised.

“This is one of the slave trading branch in the demon continent. I’m surprised you don’t know this.” Demon continent? Then Zarzex is...

“Are you a demon?” Zarzex smirked.

“Yes. Are you afraid? Scared?” Hmmm, So I’m in the demon continent and the one who bought me is a demon. Am I a demon as well? I don’t even know a single thing about myself.

“I’m not scared. Let’s get back to the first topic. Why did you buy me?” I don’t even feel anything at all.  If I’m a demon then wouldn’t I have enhanced strength or something humans don’t have? Why will he buy someone like me? Buying slaves isn’t that cheap. There must be something special about me.

“Why I bought you?” Zarzex looked up in the sky. There was a long silence.

“You look like her.” I look like her? Who? It seems like this is a sensitive topic so I’ll change the topic.

“Do you and that Grog know each other? Because it seems you two are close friends.” I can’t think of a topic so I’ll go with this one.

“You’re late milord.” A blonde girl wearing a black armor spoke with Zarzex. She’s really beautiful and she has the body which will make men go crazy. So she’s Zarzex’s wife? What a lucky guy. Wait... Did she just say ‘Milord?’

“Sorry Alexa. Let’s go.” I’m really tired. I can’t believe I’m tired after running for a few minutes. I felt my body suddenly floating but I ignored it. A girl’s body is really different from a boy.

“I guess we need to head home now. My daughter is tired.” Huh? Daughter? After hearing that everything went black.

“Hey don’t be too loud! You might wake up Mordred!” Stop shouting... Someone is sleeping here. It feels soft~ I haven’t felt this softness for a long time.

“I just can’t believe what I’m seeing! She looks exactly like her!” Why are they screaming? Don’t bother your neighbour! I guess I’ll get out of bed. I started stretching my body. Is this bed endless? After stretching, I kept moving around to get off the bed but I can’t. I opened my eyes and I saw that my bed is super huge. What the hell?

“See? You woke her up!” I looked around and I saw two maids.

“You were shouting too!” Sparks started to appear between the two maids.

The first maid who spoke has a white spiky short hair, tanned skin and gray eyes. The second one is a girl with curly long black hair, white skin and black eyes. I need to stop this before disaster happens. After all, girls are scary beings.

“Uhm, Where is Zarzex?” The two stopped glaring at each other and both of them looked at me.

“*Cough* sorry for our attitude. Milord is in his office.”The tanned maid answered. There it is again. What’s with the milord? Is Zarzex a king? Now I’m getting curious again.

“Can I see him?” At last I got off the huge bed.

“Unfortunately you can’t but milord said that he will come here later after his work is done. Now, I’ll be introducing ourselves.” The tanned lady and the other one bowed.

“I am Sharle and this is Chloe. From now on, we are your maids’ milady. Your food is ready shall we bring it here?” Milady? I’m getting confuse now. I’m just a maid bought by Zarzex and I’m getting special treatment.

“Y-yeah thank you.” The two went outside of the room. Now I should look around. This room is really huge. It’s like a house. How rich is Zarzex? The furnitures here look really expensive. Nobody is guarding so I can go outside right? I slowly opened the door to see if someone is outside and luckily there’s no one. Before those two come back I’ll take a look of Zarzex’s house.

“How big is this place?” I’ve been walking for a while and it seems I’m at the third floor. The window is even bigger than me.” I looked outside and I saw a huge garden. I also found the bathroom and it’s bigger than the room I was in earlier. I think Zarzex is really a king. Huge paintings were on the wall. While I’m in the middle of exploring, I heard Sharle and Chloe screaming.

“Milady! Where are you?” Not planning on going back to my room. I want to explore more. Now where should I go? After exploring for a long time and constantly hearing the two maids screaming milady, I found a door different from the other ones. I opened it and I saw painting of myself. There are even pictures but not all of them are me. Some were paintings and pictures of a beautiful woman in her thirties. She has white long black hair, white skin and blue eyes. Same features as me... I suddenly remembered something.

“Zarzex said that I look like her yesterday. Is he referring to her?” I went closer to the paintings.

“Alisa Vermillion” that was the name of the woman and...

“Mordred Vermillion” The name of the girl who looks like me.

“She looks exactly like you. That’s why I bought you. I’m pathetic aren’t I? Buying you because you look like her.” Huh? I turned around and saw Zarzex. That surprised me.

“I see. She’s your wife and the one who looks like me is your daughter.” So Alexa isn’t his wife. Zarzex smiled and lifted me up.

“They were both killed. I was naive at that time and I was too weak.” After saying that he hugged me.

“When I saw you in the carriage of Grog, I can’t believe what I saw. I immediately went to Grog to see how you are. I even asked Grog to give you special treatment. I wanted to buy you immediately but Grog said that he still needs to do the paperworks so I waited.” So that’s why I’m not included in the disciplining of the kids. Zarzex lost his wife and child. I know how that feels. My mother was killed too.

“It’s ok. I’m here for you.” I hugged him back and suddenly tears came out of Zarzex’s eyes but he wiped it immediately.

“I may not be the same as the first mordred but are you alright with it?” He nodded. I guess I’m not born unfortunate in this world. With that, he became my father and I became his child. After our drama, we found the two maids crying because they can’t find me. My father Zarzex called the two and I waved my right hand to them while sitting on his shoulder. After that, an enraged Alexa appeared and scolded father.

“As a demon king, you have a lot of work! How many times do I have to say this to you?!” Apparently my father is a demon king which really shocked me.
