Looks like most people want a story with no choices and the 2nd picked choice is choices with no bad ends... I do have to say to the readers that my original intention was a story WITH choices AND bad ends. With that in mind, I came up with a general plotline. To tell this story without choices and bad ends... is impossible. Even if people wanted the no bad ends option instead of no choices entirely, it wouldn't be possible. Dying and meeting Rigel again was an essential part of the plotline based on how far the MC progressed at the time of death. Well, I won't say more than that since that idea can still be used.
Even if it were possible, I don't think I would enjoy writing it using the same premise I planned.
The best I can do is come up with a new premise but keep the power the same. i.e. Reproduction.
I just came up with an idea as I wrote the previous sentence. This could be pretty interesting and fun to write since it's an idea I think no one has ever done. I'll try to retain as much ideas as possible from this story into that one. Namely, the plotline. My original purpose was to have this huge mystery that the readers will have to take notice of through bad ends, but not that isn't an option I have to use a different approach. So the story will have a completely different beginning and so all of the chapters on this fiction are worthless.
Well, this was fun to write while it lasted, but the results weren't really what I hoped for. Take the latest chapter as an example. I specifically suggested that you should suggest one route to pick. Instead, I get two polls with 19 votes each indicating that every voter probably voted in both of them. If not all, most of them. The previous poll had 25 voters, so I find it doubtful that 38 voters participated in the latest poll. In the end, there were four ties. Huge disappointment.
The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.
We never even got to the more fun parts I had planned. Traps everywhere in adventures, dungeon puzzles, and battle sequences(pattern recognition) with choices at the end of the chapter for next action taken... Sorry to the readers who enjoyed the mystery element to this story, the majority apparently don't.
What I really liked about writing RE:Choice was the barrier between what the reader knows and what the MC knows. If any of you read my main fic, Lusarth Fauxun, the same kinda thing goes on, and you have this mystery feel to the entire story.
You can expect this new story to be a growing OP MC story for sure. Chapter releases will be sporadic. I'll probably get around to actually writing it the next time I hit a big writer's block for my main story. I'll probably abandon this account and just post on my actual account. I would put the title I have planned for it here, but I don't want someone to one up me and steal my name. It'll be hyperlinked in the signature of my main account if you want to keep an eye out for it.
Anyway, RE:Choice is dropped. I might try this idea again in the future regarding bad ends and reader interactive if the OP MC story becomes popular and the readers want to see something like that.
